Zero pushed Fang around the town as the children ran around, smiling and playing.
“I am going to be Azoth this time.” One child blurted out.
“No, I am, you were him last time!” another protested.
Zero glanced at Fang, his eyes were hollow as he felt pitiful being unable to move on his own. Zero looked at the children as they played as members of the Faremin council. “If only they knew the truth behind their beloved hero.” Fang murmured.
Zero sighed as he continued to watch, “What do you think they will think of us once he is dealt with and the other members of the council?”
Fang stared at them, “I don’t know? Their hero was once a villain. As he was just like us fighting to destroy the Faremin kingdom.” Fang closed his eyes, remembering his father’s kindness and warmth. “I wish the stone chose me over Lovell. I was there when he was born, and he never cried once untiluntil” Fang began to tear up as his emotions betrayed him. “Why am I crying? I don’t understand what’s going on?”
Zero touched his shoulder, “I think you feel guilt as you are closing yourself off to others. Even when you were with Luna, you never opened up to her. She told me once that she thinks you hate her very existence. TO where you only protect her as a means to connect to your father before he was cursed.”
Fang pulled himself closer, “Make the pain go away then. It hurts too much to bear.”
Zero shook his head, “No, this is life. The darkest part of it. There is nothing I or anyone else can do to fix it. Only you can, now lets head back. Dymo might have some lunch ready.”
Zero gripped the wheelchair as eh pushed Fang back to Dymo’s place. Feeling the guilt seith through him have to tell Fang the truth. Fang could hear Zero tightening his grip on the handles as they walked back. He knew Zero was right as he felt helpless for the first time in his life.
Dymo waited for them as he put out the finishing touches on an outside lunch. “So, how was the walk?”
Zero sighed as he pushed Fang into his place. “Well, enough,” Zero answered as he sat down.
Dymo smiled as he rested his chin on his wrists. “Why don’t I tell you how the kingdom stared out? And maybe you might find some useful information on Demora?”
Fang looked up him as slight curiosity piqued his interest. “Like what we already know that Demora built it with people who wished to see him become a god?”
Dymo smiled grew as he stabbed his food, “Not quite? This is much more than that you see Kora and her clan are the original inhabitance of the land where the castle lies today. You see, she and her people fought Demora when he was Demora.” Dymo took a bit, waiting for them to ask their questions.
“Wait, you mean the Krisniks built the Faremin kingdom?” Zero asked.
Dymo pointed at him with his fork, grinning. “Yes, at the time, the kingdom was not even a thought as Dermora lost his memories, and Kora saved him unaware of who he was. As time went on, he suggested to her to build a kingdom as to fight himself.” Dymo took another bite.
“But, he never knew? If Kora never knew who he was, then by building the country, she inadvertently helped fuel this war!?” Zero started to put the pieces together.
Dymo nodded as he looked at Fang who’s eyes grew in shock. “Yes and with fall of the kingdom of Silvaunathe same people as Lunatica’s reincarnation is was falling to ruin. Places like Blacklight and Marewodd were part of this falling kingdom. Demorasorry Terrance, the first at the time, had helped the people as their king fell ill and died, leaving a nation kingless. Terrance took up the mantel with the help of Korawho was pregnant at the time mind you was bale to gain seventy percent of the villages onto his side. The last thirty either join other nations or in the cases of like Blacklight and Marewood stay neutral. Until concurred.”
Fang closed his eyes as Zero stared at Dymo. “So, this whole time, the other counties had no idea? But why would Kora not stop him after he returned back to Demora?”
Dymo sighed as he leaned back in his seat, “love, that’s why. Kora loved him too much to where the burden fell onto her grandchildren. She never had the strength to kill him, especially since she was to blame for all of this.”
Fang started shaking as he listened to Dymo, “That is no excuse, m grandmother was a great woman and nownow know she was the cause that isn’t right! Just because she fell in love means nothing!”
Dymo sighed as he glared at Fang, “Then tell me this! Why did you cause Lovell to seal his feelings for Luna? As you are Lunatica’s descendant from where this feud started at!” Zero gagged as Fang froze in horror. “that is right, she has married and has had children in the past. You think that by stopping love, it would fix things, well tink again. You Grandmother almost succeeded, and Lovell might have as well if you didn’t hinder him. Forbidden love, my ass!” Dymo chewed Fang out. “If you never convinced Lovell to seal himself away, he would be alive. You are partially to blame, not Hunter. You, so get that through your dumb brain!”
Dymo huffed before taking out a cigarette and lighting it. Fang sat, realizing his mistake. To where he was part of the cause of Lovell’s death. Zero stared at Fang in anger. “Wait, you mean to say that if Fang didn’t but in with Lovell’s and Luna’s relationship. Lovell would be alive right now!”
Dymo nodded as he took a puff. “Yes, Lovell would be alive as Luna would have been able to prevent his death by healing him during the fight. Subconsciously, of course. But Lovell sealed her love for him and his for her. Sealing his fate of death by his twin.
Fang snapped to reality, “Wait, twin?” Fang asked.
Dymo leaned on his arm as he pointed his smoke at him. “Yes, Hunter is not a clone. And before you ask, I am in with the goddess or time Clorack, one of the two gods of time.” Dymo took another puff before glaring at him, “And right now, she cannot see the future as Demora should have had your heads right now? So whoever this Wolf is, he is a destiny breaker.”
Fang stared in shock as Zero stood up, “Wait, then that’s how you know about us! She told you about what we went through and what Fang did?”
Dymo nodded as he put his cigarette, “yes, and I know for a fact that time will not fix itself for about ten years. Lovell and Hunter were both destiny breaks, as they were to never exist. But somehow Uriel Krisnil the first and the world spirit Uriel Krisnik, ironically they have the same exact name as Lovell, or should I say Uriiel Kirsnik the second. Had given some of their soul to Lovell and Ulva was able to have Hunter premature while still carrying Lovell in her w.o.m.b. She was able to save Hunter’s life by placing him in one of Vann’s clone tubes, and after sixteen years, Hunter emerged undetected. Ulva was a cunning wolf. That’s for sure.” Dymo praised.
“So, if Hunter is Lovell’s twin, then that explains why Lovell did what he did?” Zero analyzed. “But then wouldn’t that mean that Hunter is part beastman?”
Dymo shook his head, “No, and Fang knows why as well. Since Theyans can have either pure blood or half breed when it comes to a pure breed theyan mixing with a half breed theyan. The same can be applied to breading with non-theyan people like Ulva, who was actually half-human herself.” Dymo started explaining. “To where the genome can beto where in Hunter’s case the child can end up, Human, but the child could also be pure beastman, half-beastman half-human, half-theyan half-human, half-theyan half-beastman, and just like Lovellhalf-theyan quarter-human and quarter-beastman.”
Zero was stunned by the amount of information on how theyans worked when it came to having children. “So, if some like Lovell was to have a child withsay an elf? Would the theyan genome rules still apply?”
Dymo nodded at Zero’s question. “Yes, but to where the three different mortal races would end up in thirds. But otherwise, it’s the same principle.”
Zero sat down as he looked at Fang, who sat quietly listening to Dymo, “By the way, I did not know that. As I was never told that part. I was only told about that theyan half-breeds when mixing ith another theyan, mortal or another half-breed, the chance of having a pure breed mortal, was one in two or one in four possibilities depending its half-breed to half-breedwhich is the one in four chances. While the other it the latter. But with any combination, it is always a one in two possibilities for a half-breed child.” Fang explains in detail, “But, tell me why to tell us this and not something else?”
Dymo smiled devilishly. “As to get you moving out of the shadows and to help you understand why you were chosen as the Ren-Ky od Darkness.” Dymo pointed at the gem, “Because it is calling out to you as we speak.”
Fang looked down to see a dark glow emanating from his pocket. He pulled out eh black jewel as it felt warm in his hand. Fang stared at the jewel as hi could feel its power flowing around his hand.
“You see, you were the right choice. Once you began to understand your heritage, you could see past the darkness that was haunting you? As all the Ren-Ky are things, we lack as individualsthe courage to stand up for people. You young man are the beacon that will light the path for the courage to burn inside ourselves. The waters of knowledge are like a fountain. You drink from the past to help the future. Where lightning strikes, its strength flows threw the land and its people, giving them the strength to fight back.” Dymo started rambling. “The wind carries us to freedom, while the earth is kind to give us her bounty. Light with all of us gives birth to hope. While we walk through life in the dark. You see, each element represents an individual’s struggles and what lack the Ren-Ky are to be symbols to help guide the people.”
Fang and Zero stared at him, speechless. As Dymo finished. His smile softened. “Now, I will leave you with that to ponder over, as I have other duties to attend to.”
