Kratos tried to resist the spell as he knew once morning came, he would have a hand in killing Fang. Zero stared at him helplessly as he started to wish for help to come and rescue them. The sound of Tusa being attack caught his attention as a man walked out from the shadows. Zero went pale as he recognized the man.
“Your thoughts are annoying, but still, if one of my summonses did not tip me off about Fang, I wouldn’t be here.” The man said as he walked into the light.
Zero stared at the man, “B-Black Wolf! What are you doing here?” Zero asked before stopping to touch the bars. Zapping him.
Wolf sighed as he undid the spell, “Now that is a curd spell, now tell me what the hell is going onKratos!?” Wolf asked in surprise as he stepped back.
“No time, Curtis cast a spell on Kratos to have him stall Mama K form being at Fang execution! Which so happens to be at first twelve o’clock of the day! Can you get me out of here!” Zero pealed hesitantly.
Wolf sighed as he opened the cage and then did the same for Kratos. Then undid the spell, reliving Kratos of his agony. “What in the world?” Kratos asked as he rubbed his head.
“Well, it seems I made things a lot harder on Curtis. Now, if you want to stop him, Kratos needs to go to Mama K. He might have subordinates who will be watching. Zero, you will come with me to the cast but vail walk, as it will get us in to see the king. If we talk to him about what is really going on and what Curtis is planning, we might be able to stage Fang’s death.”
Zero stared at him, “You are not the leader here!”
Wolf grabbed Zero by the collar, “Do you have a better idea then?” Zero went to protest but stopped, “I thought so. I really wish I did not have to help you with this, but you leave me no choice as I need all of the Ren-Ky’s for my plan to work.”
Zero stared at him as if an air of familiarity washed over him but could not place where he felt it. Kratos got to his feet and stared at Wolf, “Thank you, Black”
“Wolf is fine, now you need to get going. Be sure to stall for one hour to two. No longer as if this is going to work, we need Mama K to be at the execution.” Wolf turned to the unconscious Tusa, “We will take Tusa here and show him to the king, as he is the culprit I am guessing?”
Kratos nodded, “Yes, now let us be off. We shall meet at the execution grounds. Hopefully, with my father lying in waits as he watches, while his plan falls apart.”
Wolf nodded as he grabbed Zero’s hand and dragged him into the shadows. Zero felt his body become heavy as they in the throne room. King Vain stopped talking to his adviser as he stood up.
“Zero!? Where in the blazes have you been? And Where is Kratos?” Vain asked as Wolf emerged behind him. “Who are you!?”
The guards raised their blades at Wolf as he walked to the center room, “I am Black Wolf, and I have some information for you. Curtis is planning to kill you by using Mama K.”
The men pulled closer as Vain glanced at Zero, “Your majesty, Wolf is telling the truth, he had kept me and Kratos captive and planned to use him to stall Mama K when Fang was executed. Causing the grand effect that only happens with theyans.”
Vain’s eyes widened, “By the heavens, but we have to execute him or else the people will have an uproar?”
Wolf smiled beneath his mask, “That is why we brought the culprit, Tusa. One of Curtis men, as Curtis is behind many of the faremin advances.” Wolf pulled Tusa out as he was bound and gagged.
Zero stared at him. “How did you gag him thru our short trip thru the vail?” Zero asked, puzzled by the fact.
“Practice, but we need to the execution the same as a theyan one. Or else Curtis will become suspicious.” Wolf turned to the Vain, waiting for his questions.
“So, how do we capture Curtis?”
Wolf snickered at Vain, “I will take care of him, as he does not know me. Plus, you will have him after I extract the information I need from him and kill off his men. With that, I wish to speak to you after this ordeal. Alone, no guards, no maids, no one. Just you and me.” Wolf’s voice became stern as he stared at Vain.
Vain nodded as he looked at Zero, “Very well, Zero go to the dungeon and tell Fang. Bring Tusa as well as he will replace Fang as you two will have to wear a disguise for Fang’s execution.” Vain ordered with an air of sarcasm. Zero nodded as he smiled at the Vain. Wolf bowed as he took his leave, waiting for their plan to bear fruit.
Zero walked around with Fang as they wore soldier armour that covered their faces. Zero glanced around to see the people standing ready to throw rocks at the culprit. Fang shivered as he thought of how he would have been on the receiving end if Wolf did not save their asses. Vain walked out with Tusa behind him. Zero glanced around to see Kratos and Mama K walking into view. As Vain began to make his announcement.
Tusa tried to wriggle his way out, but the guard’s help firm as the sound of muffled cried to his partner went unheard. Fang nudged Zero to Curtis’s presence. Zero nodded as he noticed Wolf moving through the crowd towards him. Curtis stood smiling while he watched the execution take place. Zero and Fang moved in to make sure he noticed their presence and not try anything. Sure enough, Curtis did see them on either side of him as they acted like they were checking to keep the peace.
The executioner pulled off the clothe from Tusa as Wolf leaned into his ear, “Too bad for you the king knew, and I delivered. Fang and Zero are right here listening as we speak, so come quietly as more guards are surrounding you. Because I have a question about your connection to Azoth.” Wolf whispered in his ear.
Zero felt a chill as they slipped away. Fang sighed as he moved over to Zero, “So, now what? We need to find the village that man sent us to?” Fang asked as he turned to watch the crowd start to dissipate.
Mama K and Kratos walked over as they pulled their helmets off. “So, you did come back? Kratos told me everything once we were here and that this Wolf has you going to Fevermore?” Mama K stated.
Fang nodded at his grandmother. “Yes, we originally came here to ask for help and then got caught in Curtis’s plot,” Fang answered as she raised her brow.
“Where is Curtis then?” Mama K’s words soft as Zero shivered.
“Wolf took him for now as to ask him questions, to where his men are and about Azoth. I don’t know why, but he felt familiar like I knew him at one time.” Zero answered as he shook his head. “Yet at the same time, he feels like a total stranger. He put Fang out for over a month, or was it two?”
“Since Lark fifth to the first of Augra,” Fang growled.
Mama K sighed as she turned to Kratos, “I asked Kratos to take you to the village. It is close to the ocean, and it would be best for him not to return until Curtis is no longer breathing. I think I know who you are to see. She was a good friend of mine and looked as if she was waitingfor someone or somethingas I left her three weeks ago.” Mama K turned her attention back at the two young men before her. “Now, if you excuse me, I must go and talk to Vain as I need to make my report dealing with the Spade Dominion.” She stated as she started to move towards the castle.
Fang nodded as he moved out of her way. While Kratos stayed behind. “Let us return as well so that we can change and get ready in the morning. We will leave before the sunrises as to miss the morning gate guards.”
Fang agreed as they walked off. Zero started to wounder what Wolf wanted to talk to the king about as they made their way back.

Wolf waiting as the last of the men, left the throne room as Vain sat back down in his throne. “So, you have returned. Quicker than I anticipated?” Vain announced as Wolf emerged from the shadows.
“Yes, Curtis was very cooperative after he was defeated. But enough about him the reason I wished to talk.” Wolf changed the subject as Vain waved his hand to proceed. “Thank you, I am here to ask for you not to attack the Faremin kingdom until all the Ren-Ky, myself and Lady Luna have returned together. AS of Junra eighteenth, I will have all of them come to a certain location then reveal my identity. As for those who already know, they are cursed by me as to not tell them or my enemies.”
Vain shifted in his throne as Wolf removed his mask. Vain’s eyes widened as he stared at Wolf, “I see why then, very well then. I will agree with this. Yet tell me how have you become so strong as to incapacitate Fang and put terror into Azoth?”
Wolf smiled as he put his mask back on. “Well, you see” Wolf explained how as Vain lifted from his seat. In utter shock as Wolf finished.
Fang looked out the window as Zero finished in the bath as he walked over to him. “Wondering who Wolf might be or this friend of Mama K’s?”
Fang nodded as he turned to Zero, “Yes, now summon your weapon.”
Zero stopped and stared at Fang like he was crazy as he went and grabbed he Ren-Ky jewel. He summoned his weapon to see it had changed. The blade looked as if a fire was formed into the edge. While the shield was ordained with gold on its steal surface, with red lacquer between the gold. Showing his heritage and his past on the front.
“What in the world?”
Fang sighed as he looked at his, “Your weapon has fully awakened where now I have to do the same. I wonder if this is part of Wolf’s plan?” Fang asked as he looked back out the window, “Only time can tell.”
Zero turned to Fang as while unsummoning his weapon. “Yes, but how? Is it the people we meet or the things we do? Thru your whole ordeal, I never gave up. I had the courage to do something but not the power. It seems that when we understand ourselves more and what the Ren-Ky are to the people, we level up somehow?”
Fang nodded in agreement as he stood up, “Yes, but right now, we need to see why he is doing this. By going to Mama K’s friend, we might get more questions than answers.”
Zero agreed as they left the bathhouse and returned to their rooms. Getting ready for the trip in the morning.
