Amnesia - Chapter 10

Suddenly she noticed there was a door which comparatively small rather than the normal door.she was so panicked that she didn’t noticed it before.She checked but it was locked.She struggled with it for sometimes but it refused to open.Then she pulled out a bobby pin from her hair and tried to unlock it.After trying for sometimes the door opened.

It seems like toilet that was abandoned a long time ago.There was dust and spider net everywhere.She saw a large ventilator.She went close to the ventilator and tried to open it.It easily opened.At last she found some hope escaping the place.She easily jumped from the ventilator as it was not so highly placed.She started running away with all her strength from the place.But as she left for a few footsteps,a stick from the backside hurt her head.She immediately lost her consciousness.

The man carried her again to that room and placed her on the bed.She was still unconscious lying lifeless on the bed.He took a knife and stood beside her bed.

“Babe,you are too cunning!You think you can escape that easily?I will never let you escape.Because after today you won’t be alive.” The man smirked.His filthy hand glided the knife on Anastasia’s face.His eyes were full of lust as Anastasia’s silent pleading had no effect on him.He just wanted to shred his prey into uncountable pieces.

“Let’s enjoy!Should I not kill you and take you with me??” The man mumbled.

suddenly then the door slammed open.

“Who the hell are you?” the man was surprised.He shouted at the top of her lungs as he got interrupted between his enjoyment.

It was Arman.He searched every possible place even went to the train station but could not find Anastasia.He at last went to the police station to lodge a missing complaint.At first the police refused to take the complaint as Anastasia left according to her own will.But finally admitted defeat to Arman’s iron will.Arman told the police as he know her she probably would try to leave the City. So they checked every possible root of leaving the city.When the police checked the CCTV footage on train station,they found Anastasia.She was kidnapped by a stranger.Arman became so panicked that he continuously blame himself.His condition was like fish out of water.They traced her location and found her finally like in this condition.

“Stay away from her, you bastard,” Arman shouted.

He immediately punched him in the mouth.He continuously hitting him like as he had gone mad.The police finally stopped him otherwise he might be killed the man and arrested him.Anastasia was still unconscious .Arman covered her body with his jacket.He checked her pulse.Pulse was normal but she was bleeding from the backside of her head.He covered the wound with a handkerchief to stop the bleeding and carried her to the hospital.

After few hours,Anastasia opened her eyes.She found herself lying in a clean bed wearing a green hospital gown.Her head was wrapped in a bandage,there was a intravenous cannula in her hand.She felt a sharp pain in her head.She was trying to remember what happened to her.How did she ended up here!Last thing that she remembered that was she had an argument with her brother and left home.And then she met a stranger who offered her water and she became senseless and regaining consciousness found herself in a locked room.Then she tried to escape but someone hit her in the head.After this she had no memory.

“How are you feeling?”Arman asked.

” Elder brother…”Anastasia couldn’t believe her eyes.She left home and involved herself in a mess.But Arman was able to find her.

“Ana…” Arman was staring at her with a caring gaze.

“I am sorry brother.” Tears rolled down from her eyes.

“You shouldn’t be sorry.It’s me who would be sorry.I am sorry Ana really very sorry.I should protect you.Instead of protecting you I pushed you in further danger.Please forgive me.I should come earlier to save you” Arman sighed.His eyes was clearing begging for her forgiveness.He was feeling so much guilty.

“No bro,it’s okay.Please don’t say these.If I am safe now it’s because of you.You always saved me when I needed.I am sorry brother.I always create mess bringing trouble for you.” Anastasia said.

“No,you are not.Just be careful in the future.So that no one can hurt you.And don’t ever think about leaving the home.I was just angry.I shouldn’t say those kinds of words to you.I hurt you badly.” Arman signed a long breath.

“No,brother.don’t worry I wont leave ever even if you want to kick me out of the house.” Anastasia smiled beautifully revealing her cute dimples on both cheeks.

Next day,Anastasia was discharged from the hospital.she was restless to go home.She didn’t like to stay in the hospital even for a second.The smell of disinfectant,the air,the environment,hospital bed everything was making her sick.She insisted with her brother for going back home.At first her brother did not agree but finally admitted defeat to her.Her condition was still fragile,she was still so weak also there was no one in home to took care for her so Arman took a day leave and went back with her.Before went back to home they went to police station and Anastasia gave her statement.
