Amnesia - Chapter 11

At home,Anastasia went to her room.She was feeling so uncomfortable so she went to take a shower.In the bathroom,she started undressing herself.As she stared at her image in the bathroom mirror she was panicked.Her beautiful clear smooth body skin was no longer like before.It is now full of scar,purple red mark,bitting mark.Are these hickey?When did this happen?.This means when she was unconscious that man do this to her! Her mind went insane.She didn’t remember anything about her past.But how could she tolerate this now?The man tried to snatch her sanity.She realized something that’s why Arman was sorry for her.

She burst out tears.She switched on the shower and stood under the water flow.The water was flowing in her body washing all the dirt and impurity.

“Water can clean my body,but can these as well clean my wounded soul?” Tears were rolling down from her cheeks which were now mixing with waterdrops.She was ruthlessly rubbing the scars as if she rubbed harder it would be vanished….

2 hours have passed,but Anastasia didn’t came out from the shower.Arman went to check her in the room but she was not at her room.He waited for a long time but Anastasia was still in the bathroom and the shower was still on.He knocked in the bathroom door but no one response.Again he knocked but result was same there was only sound of water splashing.

Suddenly Arman realized something.She may be found about that hickey and scar in her body.The poor girl might be so upset.Arman sighed a long breath and started cursing himself for not to be careful.It was totally his fault that Anastasia left the house.If he gave the opportunity to explain him she would be safe and wouldn’t go through harassment like this.

He immediately broke the door and saw Anastasia lying on the bathroom floor.Water was splashing on her from the shower.Her body was turned blue due to long exposure in cold water.

He covered her body with a towel and wiped her hair.He laid her on the bed.He placed a blanket covering her body.He felt sad for her.He should be more considerate.What kind of brother is he!!He even can’t protect his little sister.Arman was constantly cursing himself.He was feeling extremely guilty.

After sometime Anastasia regained her consciousness.opening her eyes she saw her brother standing beside her.

“Ana….”

“Brother,you knew it earlier,didn’t you?” Anastasia weeped.

Arman blankly stared at her and said nothing.

“Brother,I felt so dirty.” Tears were rolling from her eyes nonstop.She was venting all of her sorrow.

“No,Ana you are not dirty.You are as pure as lotus.” Arman placed his hand in Anastasia’s forehead.What he said he totally meant it.To him she will be always pure.Though he didn’t know about her past,she will be always pure as goddess to him.In just these few days,she made a great place in his heart.

In the police station,the police were enquiring the kidnapper about the kidnapping.As per Anastasia’s statement there was another woman involved in this crime.They need to find her immediately.

“Who bribed you for kidnapping Anastasia?” The police asked.

The kidnapper was silent.The police again asked him.But the result was the same.

Then a constable came and started hitting him with a stick.

“Hey,wait.dont..dont bit me.I am saying everything…..” the kidnapper shouted.

The police officer smriked and stared at his stick.There was nothing that he can’t do with his sticks!!!

At home,a buzzing sound of a phone was coming from Arman’s room.He picked the phone.

“Hello”

“Is it Arman speaking?”

“Yeah!”

“I am calling from the police station.The kidnapper gave his statement.We found out the culprit.” the policeman said.

“Who is it?” Arman was breathless.

“The main culprit behind the kidnapping is Lisa Dally”.

Arman frozed hearing the name.

Arman’s face darkened instantly.So,it’s Lisa.

“I should have realised these before.No wonder it’s her!” He mumbled.

Next morning the police arrested Lisa.They sent her to the lock up.Lisa became so furious,she continuously shouted like an insane person and begged the police to let her call Arman.Finally they let her make a call.

“Hello!Arman.Thanks god.please listen to me!” Lisa cried.

“Why did you call me?I am surprised you have the gut to call me after doing these disgusting things!” Arman said in a cold voice.

“Arman please listen.I didn’t hire the kidnapper.I think there is a misunderstanding I didn’t even know the kidnapper.” Lisa said restlessly.

“If you didn’t hire him why would he say your name?”

“I really don’t know.please Arman believe me!” Lisa begged.

“Lisa.I warn you dont disturb me any more.Consequences will be not good.” Arman hung up the phone.

After a few days,Anastasia’s health conditions became good.She started going University.The brother sister pair were passing their day as usual.Anastasia woke up early in the morning,then made breakfast.Having their breakfast,they used to go to their workplace.At night they had their dinner together.

Anastasia started attending her University after a few days.She already made a few friends.Serina was indeed her good friend.There are some other friends they quite get along with.

After a class period,Anastasia and Serina went to the canteen.They ordered some snacks.They were chatting between themselves.

Suddenly Anastasia heard one of her class mate saying from another table,

“You know,this girl claimed her doctor Arman’s sister.I know doctor Arman very well.His father and my father were colleagues.I never heard that he had a sister.”

“What are you saying!That’s unbelievable!!!” Another one said that.

“So you are trying to say that there is something fishy!”

“Obviously I think so.Suddenly a sister appears don’t you think there is something fishy!!!I think Arman is taking advantage of her.”

“Oh my god!What are you saying!!”

“I am telling the truth!What do you think a young man and woman without any blood relations staying under one roof. What should have probably happened between them?Do you think she is pure!”

“So you are trying to say that she and doctor Arman have some illegal relationship!”

“Of course!She might have do that with Arman so that Arman providing her with money.!”

Anastasia was angry.She was feeling the urge of pressing her neck to death.She was about to yell at her then Alex appeared there suddenly and slapped her.Her cheeks instantly became red.

“If you dare to utter even a single word about humiliating her.You will have to move from this city.” Alex hissed.

Anastasia saw the drama and left the canteen.She was still mad at him for the last incident between them.She had no urge of talking to him anymore.But Alex followed behind her.

“Ana,I have something to say.” Alex hesitated.

“I don’t think there is something left.You already made everything worse.” Anastasia said in a cold voice.

“I am sorry Ana.I am really sorry for the kiss.I was just out of control.please forgive me!I wont ever do these things to you.I was really sad and became drunk.I just lost my mind.please!” Alex begged.

Anastasia didn’t really like Alex,even didn’t want to accept her apology but she remembered that he was the son of the city mayor.It is not good to mess with him and good to accept his apology and she will avoid him in future.By this,the situation would not be awkward.

“I will forgive you but I hope you keep your promise in future.” Anastasia said.

“Thank god Anastasia you forgave me.” Alex sighed a relief of breath.

Anastasia nodded her head and said nothing.

“Ana,one more thing.” Alex said

“What?”

“I think Ana please don’t mind Lisa didn’t do your kidnapping.It’s probably someone else.”

“What you think doesn’t matter Alex.I think we should let the police do their job!”Anastasia said.

“Okay,as you say.” Alex sighed.
