Amnesia - Chapter 12

After class,Anastasia came back home.Having her lunch she went to take a nap.She was thinking about the whole drama,what recently happened to her.She started feeling bored already just sitting at home after her class.

“I should find a part time job!It’s not always good to be totally dependent on my brother.” She thought.

She immediately searched on the internet if locally there is any job.She found some job posts, some are for salesmen,some waitresses for bars, nothing she thought was suitable.She became upset and tried to sleep.She sank into deep sleep.

“Mommy I love you!!Please don’t leave me.I will be a good boy.”

An angel like a cute little buddy was humming into her ears.

They were playing happily.The little kiddo was running here and there,in a garden and she was following him happily.

“Mommy can’t catch me!Mommy can’t catch me!” The kid was laughing loudly.

Suddenly the scenery changed.A man came and took away the kid and stabbed her.

“A fool like you deserve to die.” the man said in her ears.

She woke up.She was covered with sweat all over the body.Again she had a bad dream.What’s the meaning of these dream?who is the man?Is he her husband?Is she really married?Who is the kid?Is he really her child?She tried to recall the man’s face.But all she remembered that his face is blurry!She sighed with a breath of frustration.For how many days more will she be remain amnesic??

She stood before the mirror and exposed her tummy.

“If I really had a child then there would be a scar mark.” She thought.

But there is no scar that could be seen as a pregnancy scar.She couldn’t realise what’s the meaning of the dream.

Arman came from hospital at night.They had their dinner together and went to sleep as usual.But his mood seemed to be bad.Probably it’s because of Lisa.After all she was his fiancee.She wanted to talk to him about this but thought it is not the right moment for these.

Next day after her class she went to Dornan mansion.Last night during sleeping she found out a job offer.The job was quite suitable for her.From 2 pm to 6 pm she had to look after a 6 year old kid.Basically a babysitting job.The salary is quite impressive.She can bear easily all her expenses with that.She thought that and became very happy.The family provided her the job must be very rich.

At the mansion,a butler took her to the mistress of the house.She seems to be in her late forties but very beautiful.She was wearing a just normal white cotton blouse and a floral long skirt but still was looking very elegant.

“Good afternoon madam.” Anastasia greeted.

“Child!don’t call me madam.My name is Zair Dornan.Call me aunty Zair.” She smiled.

“Okay aunty Zair” Anastasia smiled back.

“Take Michelle here.” the lady ordered the butler.

“Your name is Anastasia?” she asked.

Anastasia nodded.

“Then I will call you Ana.So Ana I will hire you only if our little child Michelle would like you!” Zair said.

“Okay,understood.” She replied.

The butler took the child there.Anastasia looked at him.She was just touched for a moment.The child was like an angel indeed a very beautiful little angel.Just like her dream child.Her heart melted to see the child.

She immediately went close to him and took him into her arm.

“Baby you are too cute.” She pinched his cheek.

The child smiled at her but said nothing.

“Ana,he seems to like you.Normally when a stranger touches him,he doesn’t like it.He used to scream.But he is quiet now!” Zair seems to be satisfied.Her facial expression was showing that she is relieved.

“I like him too, such a cute baby,” She smiled.Her heart was full of warmth.

“One thing Ana!I need to tell you Michelle is mute.He can’t speak.But he can hear.”

“What!” Anastasia exclaimed.”such a cutie cant speak.”She became very upset.Sometimes god is so unfair.

“Ana you need to teach him how to write so that he can communicate with us.We will pay you more.He seemed to really like you.”

Anastasia nodded.

“Okay dont worry I will teach him.soon he will learn to write.” Anastasia kissed him on the cheek.The kiddo also kissed him back and wrapped her tiny cute little hand around her neck.

The butler instructed everything about Michelle.His room,his toy,his food habit.His room was very cute it was painted with off white color.A tiny cute bed with lots of teddy bear on the room.He was in her arm still then.She took a good look on the child he was really skinny.She felt pity for him.

“I will take care of you very well from now on, baby.” She told him in his little ear.

The kid smiled at her and pinched her cheek.As if he is very satisfied at her comment.

They played for sometimes.Michelle gave her a cute little teddy bear and signed her to take it.

“You want to give it to me?” Anastasia asked

The child nodded

“Okay.I will take it.” She smiled.She happily accepted it.

Michelle smiled at her back.

6 pm,her working hours were over.She needed to go back home.Michelle didn’t want her to go back.He wanted her to stay with him.He hugged her tightly and was not ready to leave her.She promised him to come again tomorrow only then he permitted her to go.

As she was leaving for her home.She tripped over someone.

“You!!!!!”

It was Sam.

“What are you doing here?” Sam yelled at her.

“That’s none of your business.” Anastasia said after being a few seconds becoming dazed.She just wanted to avoid him at any cost.

“Really!It’s my house and you are here telling me that’s none of my business.How silly you are Ana!I can’t believe you invaded here just to seduce me!Your face is too naive…..”

“It’s your house!!’Anastasia exclaimed.

” Really!Are you that naive?Please don’t say You dont know my surname.I am Samuel Dornan.This is Dornan mansion.”

“….” Anastasia was speechless.She really didn’t know what to say now.She is new here in this city and doesn’t have so many friends.Don’t know much about the city so how would she know about these stuff.She was really embarrassed.

“Sam stop harassing her.Why are you always in an aggressive mood?You are scaring her.” Sam’s mother appeared there right at the moment.

“Mom,Why are you always mean to me?I am not your son?You are insulting me in front of an outsider.” Sam said with an irritated expression.

“I am not insulating you.Just warning you to not to be mean with her.She is Michelle’s babysitter now on.Don’t make things difficult for her.Either you better be ready for punishment.”

“Mom,I am not a child okay?that you can punish me!” Sam left the place angrily.He was angry that Zair insulted him before Anastasia.

“Don’t mind him Sweetie.He is always just like that.You better come timely from tomorrow.” Zair smiled at Anastasia.

“Okay,aunt Zair.”Anastasia smiled back.She didn’t really mind that much.
