Amnesia - Chapter 17

“Hey,baby bro.Whats the problem dude?Why are you biting and scratching me like a cat?”Sam exclaimed.

Mitchell jumped down from his arm and took her writing board and wrote,

” Bad boy Sam.”

Anastasia used to teach him writing everyday.He can write some words now but fully a sentence not yet.

“Baby bro!I am heartbroken…You called me bad!” Sam pouted and pretended to be heartbroken.

Mitchell went to Anastasia and hugged her.Placed a kiss on her cheek and patted her head.

“No bully Ana.”Mitchell wrote on the board.

” Baby bro,I dont bully him.She bullied me and always slapped me.Look I have a slapping mark on my cheek.”

Mitchell again pulled his hair and tapped his head by writing on the board.

“You bad.My Ana good.”

“Bro,you are a traitor.Seeing this mickey mouse you forget me.You are on her side.Thats not fair.”

“No disturb” Mitchell wrote..

“Okay baby bro.I am going now.Enjoy your date.” Sam left the room scratching his hair.

“Really Anastasia has a great power of influencing other.Everyone easily starts liking her.This little mouse is really something else.”Sam thought.

At 8 pm,Anastasia was making dinner for her brother at home.Arman hadn’t come home yet.Recently her brother seemed very tensed like he have been going through some tension.She wanted to talk about it for last few days but always there is something happening preventing her from talking.

Arman was back home at 11.30 pm.

” Brother,you are working very late now a days.Is there any problem?”Anastasia asked Arman at dining.

“Actually Ana,I want to talk about something.”Arman said

“What?”

“Lisa has got a bail.May be police will close your kidnapping case very soon.”

“Wait!What?”Anastasia’s jaw dropped.

“The culprit who stated police Lisa had instructed them now changed their statement and said they did it on their own.Besides City mayor is her uncle.They dont wanna run this case and go against him.”

“What are you saying?I know there were some other females. I am not hundred percent sure she is Lisa but there were some other.How can they close the case?”Anastasia was furious.

” Don’t worry sis.I will look after this matter.Even I am thinking the person who is sending creepy messages and fixed the camera is Lisa.”

“Why would she do that?”

“I know Lisa for years.Just trust me she is a psycho.She probably thinks you are her opponent.”

“But I am your sister,brother.There is nothing like that.”

“I know,Ana.Just dont worry.Everything will be alright very soon.” Arman comforted her.

“I hope so!” Anastasia sighed a long breath.

Anastasia took a shower and went to bed.Her phone buzzed.She is now even scared to pick up the call.Everytime she picked up she heard something horrible.

“Hey,Ana!How are you?” It’s Alex talking on the other side of the phone.

“Oh!Hi…I am good.”Anastasia kinda irritated at him.After all he is Lisa’s cousin.

“I want to ask you something.” Alex chuckled on the phone.

“What?”

“I want to invite you.We are planning a picnic.”

“Ummm….sorry but Alex I dont think so I can make some time for the picnic.” She was about to hang up but he interrupted.

“Ana, look I am very sorry for last time.I know I shouldn’t defend my cousin to you.”

“I dont wanna talk about it.”

“Look,Rose.I know you are upset.She got the bail.but Please don’t be angry upon me.I can’t do anything here.I really want the culprit behind the wall of the jail.”

Anastasia sighed a long breath.

“Ana,Sam and Serina are also going.please let’s go.Just leave the silly things behind.”

“I am really not feeling good.Please Alex just try to understand…..” Anastasia was feeling irritated more.It was really her weaknesses that she can’t be rude so easily.So everyone is taking advantage of her this habit.At first he kissed him,then her cousin kidnapped her and got a bail even yesterday her classmates bullied her for him.Now he is acting so clingy.

“Hey.dont say know.At least for Serina,you should come.Serina really wants you to go.”

“Okay.I will go.”

“Good night,Ana”

“Good night.” Anastasia hung up the phone.

Next day,at morning Anastasia was having breakfast.Arman already left for the hospital.Someone knocked on the door.Anastasia opened and saw a delivery man come with a parcel.

“Maam,are you Anastasia William?” The delivery man asked.

“Yes.” Anastasia answered.

“Someone sent this for you!”

Anastasia was surprised.She had no relatives or friends who could send her the parcel.But she hides her emotion.

“Who sent this?” She asked.

“Please sign here maam.The sender’s name is mentioned here.”

Anastasia signed there and took the parcel locking the door.She saw “Lover” name signing in the name of sender.She hurriedly opened the box.There is a bunch of black roses that are no longer fresh and a note in a red color paper.

“Be ready!!!!”

She started panicking.Like life is playing pranks on her.

She took her phone and called Lisa Dally.After a few times of ringing Lisa answered.

“Hello,Lisa.It’s Ana speaking?” Anastasia said.

“Why are you calling me?Isn’t that enough what you did to me?” Lisa yelled on the phone.

“I didn’t do anything.I know you wouldn’t admit your crime…..”

“Hey,wait.What crime I did?”

“Don’t be so naive.You know what you did…”

“Ana trust me.I didn’t do anything.Why should I do your kidnapping.Just think clearly?What would I get by kidnapping you?”

“Are you jealous that Arman adopted me as her sister?”
