Amnesia - Chapter 18

“Why would I?I know Arman very well.He is not that type of guy who would jump on any girl.He is very responsible to his duty.And I am already engaged to him.So there is no point of kidnapping you creating this mess.And as well there is someone who is controlling your kidnapper.You should know?” Lisa said.

“What do you mean by controlling my kidnapper?” Anastasia almost jumped.

“You know at first he confessed I instructed him to kidnap you.When police started checking his phone number and bank account there they found It was not me.There is no evidence against me.How could they if I didn’t commit the crime!!And the strange thing is before sometime police found out the kidnapper is dead.He just mysteriously died.Police said he ate a crab and had an anaphylactic shock and died.Isn’t it suspicious? There is someone else,And!!!You need to understand.”

Anastasia hanged up the phone.what does that mean.The kidnapper died,If the Lisa is not culprit than who could be?Is that some one from her past then?????

“Uhhhhh…..My head is bursting….” Anastasia groaned with a headache.

Next day,Serina,Sam and Alex came outside her apartment to pick her.They are going for a picnic today.The picnic spot is not so far just a few kilometres away from the city.

They chose the nearest zoo for their picnic spot.Anastasia, Sam,Serina and Alex.Anastasia and Serina sat on the back seat and Sam and Alex on the front seat.Sam was driving the car.Alex turned on the radio.

“You should take Mitchell with us…I am really missing him.”Anastasia said to Serina.

” Yeah.Me too!!!But mom didn’t allow us to take him alone.”Serina replied.

“I think aunt Zair sometimes should allow him for outing.He is such a sweet child.” Anastasia smiled remembering his little face.

“Actually he is unwell….kinda mentally disturbed…..” Serina said sadly.

“Did something happen to him or he is like this from birth?He is so younger in age than you two.”

“I think mom didn’t tell you.” Sam said while driving.

“What?” Anastasia exclaimed.

“We don’t have any blood connection with Mitchell.He is adopted.”Sam added.

” Huh….”Anastasia’s mouth wide opened.

“Yeah!My mom has a few charity organizations.Once about a year ago we visited an orphanage for donation.Then we met him.Mom instantly fell in love with him and we decided to adopt him ”

“When you guys adopted him was he mute?” Anastasia asked.

“Ummmm.Actually he was mute then.But the staffs said somebody left him at the gate of orphanage before a month.He used to cry whole day saying ‘mommy’.After two to three days he sudden refused to talk.probably he was to shocked that his relative abandoned him.May be his mom….” Serina said, closing her eyes.

“Oh poor child!How cruel his mother…How can someone abandon this poor cute soul….” Anastasia clenched her jaw.

“Don’t worry!Now he has us.We are his family.” Sam said to Anastasia.

Anastasia nodded and smiled at him.

The world is too strange.When in this world someone abandoned their child because they don’t want them otherside someone is childless,their whole life just passed by yearning for a child.And also their is another group of people like her adoptive mother and brother who are savior.No need to mention aunt Zair is one of them.

There is something common between Anastasia and Mitchell.May be she and Mitchell have the same kind of fate.They both lost their relative.Anastasia is amnesic where Mitchell is mute and so little that he doesn’t even know about his previous existence.

They reached the zoo.Sun is shining brightly in the sky like he is saying that every shine is inferior to me.There are so many green trees around and children are roaming here and there.A pretty happy environment.They went to the ticket counter and bought tickets for all four of them.

“Bro,I feel like I am a child again.I want to play like those little munchkins.Bro,we often used to come here with mom dad,remember?” Serina said excitedly.

Anastasia saw her eyes were sparkling.She tried to remember about her childhood.Did she ever had a family like them at all!If she had…were they loving?

Anastasia smiled sadly.May be she had or hadn’t.But it doesn’t matter at all now.Because she didn’t remember anything.

Anastasie wore a skinny high waisted blue jeans and a wooden yellow color tops.Her hair is tied in a side ponytail.She didn’t wear any makeup just sunscreen and orange red lip gloss in her lips.But as usual she was looking pretty.

Serina was wearing a beautiful orange color sundress.Sam and Alex were in their normal casual jeans and shirt.

“Hey.come on everyone.Let’s take a selfie.” Alex suddenly shouted.He was quiet until now and didn’t even say a word as if he didnt exist with them.

They all took their position and while posing Alex clicked the selfie from front.

Let’s go to the monkey cage.I like monkeys most in the zoo between animals.” Alex said excitedly.

“Obviously you should like monkeys!Because you are a monkey yourself.May be you are a monkey in your previous birth I also doubt that.” Serina mocked him.

“If I was a monkey,then what?Hippopotamus or elephant?” Alex said, pulling Serina’s hair.

“What?Elephant…Hippopotamus.!!You are fat.Your fourteen generation is fat.I am just size four..just watch your mouth.” Serina said while throwing a punch on his shoulder.

“Ahhhh…” Alex yelled at pain.

“Hey guys please stop fighting like a child.I think you guys forgot you are grown up now.” Sam yelled standing between them.

Anastasia smiled over their cute fight.Alex and Serina are too cute with each other.May be she could find someone for a cute relationship oneday.Or maybe she already had in her lost past…
