Amnesia - Chapter 26

Anastasia was feeling very angry.She never saw the woman before even didn’t know her name!!Why would she compete with her?And what the hell she was saying!She was trying hard to control her anger.She started inhaling long breath and released the breath slowly.After repeating a few time her mind calmed down a bit.

She left for her brother’s hospital.She wanted to meet Arman there.She was really worried at his indifference.He seemed like he was in a lot of tension and deadly worried about something.But what is it about she couldn’t figure about.May be she could find out on going there.

She reached the hospital.She just came her only once,when she was injured.Arman treated her wound then.She couldn’t really take a good look of hospital then because she was in pain then.The hospital is really big and neat and clean.Every part of the tiles of floor was shining as they are very careful about cleaning.Otherwise a dirty environment won’t be good for patient’s health.

She was going directly to the Arman’s room.The receptionist noticed her and tried to stop her.

“Excuse me miss.Do you have any appointment?” She asked.She was in her early thirties.She was wearing a professional pencil skirt with a white shirt.Her dress was not revealing but she was looking quite pretty.

“I want to meet dr.Arman.”

“You mean dr.William?”

“Yes.”

“Have you any appointments?”

“I am his sister.”

“Oh!But please let me be confirmed.just wait a moment.” She furrowed her eyebrows.She worked for many years here.But never heard that Arman had such a grown up beautiful sister.

She called someone and talked for sometimes.After this she hung up the phone and stared at her.

“Sorry,miss William.Dr.William is not at his chamber now.” She informed her.

Anastasia furrowed her eyebrows.If he is not here then where did he go!

“Then where did he go?” Anastasia asked her.

“We don’t know mam.As you are his sister you should call her personally.”

“Hmm…” Anastasia stated.

She went here for a sudden visit to meet Arman.But he is not here so Anastasia decided to go back home.As she was about to leave suddenly she tripped over a hard chest.She was about to fall on the ground and waiting for a intense pain in her bottom.She closed her eyes.But the pain didn’t come really.A strong pair of muscular hand caught her body in his arm prevent her from falling on the ground.She opened her eyes.

He saw a handsome blonde man with turquoise eye about same age as Arman staring at her intensely.She hurriedly freed herself from his embrace.She straightened her clothes.The man was above six foot tall.Comparing to him,Anastasia was really small.She was suddenly feeling like minion before him.

“Thank you.” She thanked the tall man as he held her otherwise she would break her waist meanwhile.

“You are most welcome princess.” The man said with a small genuine smile on his face.

“By the way,are you a patient here?Have you any appointment?My name is Dr. Lucas King.” He forwarded his hand.

“I am Anastasia William.I came here to meet my brother Dr.Arman william.” Anastasia took his hand.

Lucas’s facial expression suddenly changed from happy to confused.

“Arman had a sister!!!He never mentioned it to me.I am his friend from childhood.” He was really confused.He didn’t know before Arman had a beautiful sister like her.Why did he hide it from him!

Anastasia slightly felt bitter in her heart.Why didn’t he mention others about her?Didn’t he think of herself as his sister!!!She was feeling sad inside.But she managed herself to smile before Lucas.

“Actually Miss Katty adopted me as a daughter.I used to stay with her.May be that’s why he didn’t mention anyone.”

“Oh!I see….Please come to my chamber.Have coffee with me.”Lucas invited her.

” Sure!”Anastasia agreed.She wanted to know about her brother.May be Lucas could give her some information.

Anastasia followed him to his chamber.His chamber was beautiful.The wall was painted with slightly blue color anr everything and furniture in the chamber was combined with blue and whit color.May be he is fascinated with blue color.

“Your chamber is beautiful.” Anastasia complemented his room while sitting on the chair.

“Thanks.But not as you.” Lucas curled his lip.

Anastasia smiled.Women always love to get complement.She was not an exception.

“I think blue is your favourite color?” Anastasia asked while checking the whole room.

“You rightly guessed!”Lucas smiled..He offered a glass of coffee to her and another glass holding in his hand for himself.

” So how is the hospital running now?How is my brother doing?”Anastasia asked, taking a sip from the coffee mug.

“The hospital is doing well.And about your brother I don’t know!You should ask yourself.” Lucas took a sip of his coffee.

“Huh…I don’t get it..” Anastasia said with a confused expression.

“Actually he has been behaving differently for a few months.As I have known him for ages I think something is not right like….”

“Like what?” Anastasia narrowed her eyes.

“For about six months.He did not participate in any medical cases or surgeries.As if he forgot he is a doctor.Whenever I tried to talk about any case he told he wanted a break from these.” Lucas stated.

“Can you say where is he now?” Anastasia asked.

“No.Actually he rarely come to hospital now a days.I don’t have any idea where he have been spending his time.”

Anastasia was stunned.She was a having a inside feeling that there was something wrong with her brother.But the problem is she only know her brother for a few months.But Lucas know him for a long time.Even she could feel that Arman is very tensed recently.What is it!!!!She needed to figure out as soon as possible..
