Amnesia - Chapter 31

Suddenly the doorbell rang.

“I am checking who has come in this time!”

Anastasia nodded.She released his hand.Her condition was miserable now.She always wanted to see horror movie but couldn’t gather the courage to see that alone.So today was the opportunity.

He opened the door.A courier boy was standing outside.

“Good morning,sir.Is this Anastasia William’s house?I have a parcel in the name of Anastasia William madam.”

“Yes.Just wait for a moment.Ana…Come here.” Arman called her in a loud voice.

“Coming,brother.” Anastasia came hurriedly to hear her brother’s voice.

“Yes.brother.Did you call me?” Anastasia asked him.

“You have a parcel.” Arman said.

“A parcel?” Anastasia furrowed her eye brows.Who can send her this!!Last time the parcel she got was from her stalker.She became anxious.What if it is again from the stalker !!

“Maam sign your name here.” The delivery boy mentioned to her the place she should sign.Anastasia signed the paper.She took the percel and the delivery boy left.Arman closed the door.

“Who sent it,Ana?I didn’t know that you have someone that can send you a parcel!!!” Arman exclaimed.

“Ummm…Brother.I also dont know.” She lowered her eyes.Last time the stalker sent her percel but she didn’t mention it to him.She was feeling guilty now.She checked the box for the name for the sender recipient.But there was no name just like before.

“Open it.I want to see it.” Arman said with a stiff expression.He wanted to see who sent her percel.

Anastasia opened the box.Both of their eyes were almost about to pop out.

“Did you send her the parcel?” A woman in a black hoodie asked.Her lower face is covered with a black mask.The only part that was showing is her brown eyes.She blinked her long curly eyelashes.

“Yes.Ma’am.I did exactly what you instructed me to do.” The courier boy told her.

“Good.Did you give it exactly to her hand?”

“Yes.Ma’am.But Dr.William was present with her.”

“What the f*ck!!!Are you dumb?I told you she should be alone.”

“He should be in his hospital now.But he was at home then.When I knocked there he opened the door.What can I do then!!” The courier boy explained.

“You didn’t do it well.I have no issue with him.Such a handsome man doesn’t deserve this too early.”The lady was irritated.

” But maam it’s his fault.He should be in office then.”

“Lets bygones be bygones.Its his fate.He shouldn’t be close to that woman.” The lady chuckled.

Both the eyes of them almost popped out.

A time bomb!!!!

The timer that was set there was showing ten minute left.That means it was about to explode with ten minutes left.They had to do something to stop this in a few minutes.

Anastasia was staring at the bomb at horror.She never thought in her dreams that the stalker could go to this extent that the person wanted to kill her.She was panicked to death.

“Brother..What should we do now?It looks real.Should we call the emergency number?” Her fragile broken voice was showing great anxiety that she was feeling now.She went to open the door but the door was locked from outside.

“No use of calling them.When they come,it will burst until then.But don’t worry.We will throw it away in a safe place.” Arman said without any emotion.From his expression he seemed that he is much calmer in this situation compared to Anastasia.

He started calling his neighbours.But nobody was picking his call.He tried again.But the result was the same.

“Brother,nobody picked your call?” She asked with a great worried voice.

“Calm down.I will manage.” He went inside.Anastasia was scared to death.Did he gone mad!!How could he manage a time bomb!What the hell is going on!

He came back instantly with a wire cutter.Though from his expression he seemed like fearless,the truth is he was scared.Who wouldn’t be scared in this condition!!Everyone would be sacred.But now panicking is not the option.He should be calm and cool in his mind.Otherwise it would worsen the matter.

Already two minute passed.Now only eight minute is left.

“Brother you want to cut the wire?” Anastasia asked him, widening her eyes.

“Yes.We don’t have any other option.” Arman replied while inspecting the bomb very closely.

“Are crazy brother?What if you cut the wrong wire?” Anastasia stared at him asif he just now escaped from any mental asylum.

“Then what do you want me to do?” Arman asked, staring at her.

“We can throw it outside from our window.”

“We can’t.The abandoned crowd free place is away from this place.It will take more than ten minutes to reach the place like this even if we freed up from here.We will end up hurting others.That won’t be good.” Arman said.He was trying to separate the wire.

“But brother…..” Anastasia felt very helpless.She didn’t want this.For her,his savior brother is in mess now.What if he ended up being injured!!She is totally responsible for this.She should be careful.She should lodge a complaints instead of foolishly spying others.She could never forgive herself if something happened to her brother today!

“Oh god.Please help him!!” She was praying for him.As there was nothing she could do to help her brother.

“Help me.Separate this wire.Find the route of this.” Arman shouted.

Anastasia hurriedly went close to him.She started finding the route of the wire.The wire was badly coiled with each other.There were many colors of wire.It was very hard to separate them too early.She stared at the timing.The clicking sound of the time,as it was going on her heart was beating with exactly same rythm.As if any time it would come out from her rib cage.

“The red one.At last I found it.” Arman curled his lips.

“Stay away…Ana.”

Arman was ready to cut the wire.Anastasia closed her eyes.
