Amnesia - Chapter 35

Three days later,

Anastasia was quite well now.Last three days she only spend lying on the bed.It is one of the boring thing to do.But Ares did not permit her to step out from her bed.Only on the time of washroom amd eating she stepped out from her bed.She didn’t know about her condition yet.

Ares is very worried.He was still looking for a kidney but there is no result.It is very hard to find an organ donor even on the exchange of money.Nobody is willing to give their precious organ.

After three days,Ares decided to go to hospital.This three days he skipped hospital for looking after Anastasia.As she is very ill.Ares left for the hospital early in the morning.He also needed to meet with Apollo.Apollo needed to know about Anastasia.He didn’t tell him about her till now.He didn’t want to create any misunderstanding with his twin.

Ares already left.Anastasia was lying on the bed.She was now bored to death.She skipped her class and babysitting job for few days.She decided to go back to her normal life from tomorrow.Today as she was homesick,she decided to go out for a fresh air.She got up from her bed.She needed to be ready for going outside.She opened her cupboard and pull out loose fitting t shirt and skinny jeans.In this three days she lost a lot of weight.Any one can tell from her face that she is very ill.

She decided to go to shop for some groceries for home.She arrived at the grocery shop.When she saw the fresh vegetables her face instantly lit up.When she is in a normal mood ,she loves cooking.

“How much it cost?” Anastasia pointed toward broccoli.

The shop owner told the price.

“Pack them for me.” He nodded and he handed over the vegetables to her hand.

Anastasia took the bag and after buying a few ingredients she decided to leave for home.All the ingredients are fresh.She needs to cook early.

As she was trying to cross the road,on the middle of the road her hands slipped.All the vegetables and ingredients from her bag scattered on the ground.She was trying to collect them on her bag.But a car was recklessly coming toward her direction and she didn’t notice it.She was busy in gathering the scattered vegetables.As the car was about to hit her,a strong pair of arm pulled her.The car flew away.

Anastasia was at a loss.She didn’t understand what just happened to her.When she came to her senses she discovered that she was in somebody’s arm.She freed herself from his arm.When she saw his face,she was surprised.

“Brother!What happened to your eyes?” Anastasia was greatly surprised.The person just saved her,standing in front of her she was thinking him as Ares.But something was different.He had the same face but in his eyes the warmth was missing that she felt while she was with Ares.His eyes are now grey!!Did he wear a contact lense?What is it for then?She never see him wear a contact lense.His gaze was little bit different now.

“Excuse me,miss!Do I know you?” The person seemed to be very confused.

“Huh….Are you joking bro?” Anastasia exclaimed.He couldn’t understand why Ares is joking with him.As she knew he is not that kind of person who would joke with him in a serious condition like this.

“Sorry!I don’t know you.And please miss note that the road is for the transports,not for sitting.If you want to sit that badly then there is a park nearby.You can sit there as long as you can.” The person said in a very cold tone.

Anastasia was greatly surprised.What was that.She was exactly looking like Ares.Just eye color is different may be he wore a contact lense.Is that some prank that her brother was doing on her.She was greatly confused.She needed to talk with her adoptive brother about this.

She hurriedly took her bag of vegetables and took a cab.She arrived at home.

She put the bag on the kitchen counter and decided to call Ares.She called him.But there was no answer.May be he is busy now. Anastasia thought.

She started cooking.She bought a lot of vegetables today But maximum of them were rotten as she dropped the bag on the ground.

She started chopping the onion.She was eating light foods for last three days.Now she is craving for some spicy food.She decided to make some spicy dishes.As she was chopping the onion,her phone rang.She hurried to pick up the call.May be it can be her adoptive brother.She needed to know why he behaves like this with her.

“Hello.” Anastasia took the call.It was not Ares.Some other unknown number.

“Hello,Cassandra!How are you?” A heavy tone from the other side of the caller id played on her ears.

Hearing the voice,Anastasia started trembling.She was feeling very restless.The voice seemed to be very familiar but couldn’t remember it.

“Who is there?I am not Cassandra..I am Anastasia…” Anastasia said in a shaky voice.Her heart is beating very fast as if anytime it would come out from her chest.

The person seemed to be laughing.

“Though Anastasia name is good,I prefer Cassandra.So how is your new life?Do your two adoptive brothers treat you well?”

Anastasia didn’t understand what he was saying!!Two adoptive brothers!!She had only one,why was he mentioning two..

“Excuse me,I think you called on the wrong number.” She was about to hang up the phone but stopped.

“I know you didn’t remember anything.Your real name is Cassandra not Anastasia.”

A chill flowing down to her spine.

Cassandra!!Her real name is Cassandra!!
