Amnesia - Chapter 8

She left for the restaurant.As she reached,she saw that it was a high end restaurant and seemed to be so expensive.

“Is there any reservation madam?” A waiter said.

“Yeah,is there any reservation on the name of Alex?” she replied.

“Yes ma’am.Here.” the waiter brought Anastasia to the table.

She saw Alex already sitting there.

“I am sorry for keeping you waiting.” Anastasia apologised.

“It’s okay.I can wait for you forever.” Alex smirked.

“…”

“Just kidding.”

“You are so good at flirting.” Anastasia smiled.

“So,check the menu card.what you want!”

Anastasia checked the menu card.Everything here is so expensive and seemed to be unknown fancy dishes.Some name she can’t even pronunciated.

“You better order.Anything is fine.” Anastasia said.

“Okay princess.” Alex ordered the food.

“So,tell me about you Anastasia,about yourself!” Alex said.

“Nothing much to tell.I have an elder brother.we live together.what’s about you?” Anastasia replied.

“I have no siblings.I am the only son of my parents.My dad is mayor of this city.My parents got divorced when I was just 5.As my dad is always busy so there was no one to accompany me.My childhood was quite boring and alone.” Alex said in a sad tone.

“Oh!Sorry to hear that!”

“So,Ana.Have you a boyfriend?” Alex asked.

“No.”

“Don’t you think about having one?”

“I didn’t think about it actually.” Anastasia felt so awkward.

The waiter came with the dishes they order.Alex also ordered a bottle of wine.He offered her wine.

“Sorry,I don’t drink.”Anastasia refused.

” It’s good then.If I am drunk,you can drop me home.”Alex smirked.

Anastasia smiled but didn’t say anything.They started eating quietly.After sometimes Anastasia noticed that Alex almost ate nothing but wine.

“Hey,don’t just drink the wine.Have some food.It’s not good for the stomach” Anastasia said.

“I am not hungry.please you eat.” Alex smiled.

As she finished eating she noticed that Alex seemed to be so nervous.He was sweating profusely.His face was red.

“Are you feeling sick.” Anastasia was anxious.

“I want to say something to you something.”

“What?” Anastasia was surprised.

“I love you,Ana.”

Suddenly she felt a pair of lips on her.

She froze for a moment at first then came into her sense.She was running out breath at Alex’s action.Finally he realeased her.

“Ana,that was very good.” Alex smiled devilishly.His speech was slurred.His glare was mad as if he had no idea what he had done is not a good deed.

Anastasia was so furious.She slapped him hard and immediately ran away from the restaurant.

Otherside Alex is so surprised that he even forgot to show any expression.He never thought that any girl in this city could slap her.He just stayed standing there for a long time holding her cheek where Anastasia slapped her.

At home,it was 9.30 pm.Arman was back from the hospital.He saw the note and became agitated.He really didn’t like her too often hanging out with her friends.She is new here,if something happened again she should understand to not believe someone so easily.He had dinner and as he went to wash the dishes, he heard the sound of opening the door.

It was Anastasia.Seeing him,she froze. He checked her from top to toe. She was wearing a beautiful body hugging dress.But her hairs were in a mess,her lips are red and swollen as if she came here after making out with someone. Seeing her condition like this Arman became furious.He couldn’t understand,did she really need to do this?Didnt he provide her with enough money! He thought she was innocent and naive!But now her condition is saying other things.May be he judged her wrongly.Her innocent beautiful face hid her wrong deed.But he said nothing to her now and went back to washing dishes.

Anastasia went to her room.She just felt so disgusted that she went to have a shower.He is powerful,handsome,Mayor’s son but that doesn’t mean he could do that what he just wanted.It was their first meeting alone,who would do this kind of things?She could see that he was drunk and not in his sense.But yet when he was with a woman he should be more aware of his behaviour.

After showering for a long time she came out from the bathroom wrapping a bathrobe around her body.

“Anastasia…” Arman said in a very angry voice.

She saw Arman standing in her room.His eyes are red and may be angriness was peeking through it.She couldn’t figure out why he was so angry.Did he misunderstood something?

Seeing him standing like this she became nervous.

“Elder brother…” Anastasia mumbled.

Arman held her hand hard and pressed her into the wall.

“I thought you are a decent woman!where the f*ck did you go?” Arman shouted.

“Bro,plz listen.I just went to have dinner with my friend.”

“Who is that guy.Answer me Ana?”

“Alex.He is my classmate.last time i went to his party”

“Alex, that mayor’s son?”

“Since you are that kind of woman you can say me!!” Arman groaned.

“What….” Anastasia cried out loud.

“Or you want to make money from that rich playboy!Seriously, I didn’t expect this from you!” Arman said angrily.

Anastasia just couldn’t believe her ears that her gentle caring brother could say these kinds of word.He thought she is that kind of woman.when she didn’t even do anything.How could he think this about her?She knew deep inside her she is pure,she didn’t do anything wrong.But her brother was not ready to hear any explanation.Tears were rolling down from her eyes.She felt so tired.Why is she so unlucky?Why always this accident happened to her?She was staring at Arman clueless and couldn’t say a word freezing like a stone.

Arman was so angry he wanted to say more words but stopped.He saw her tears rolling down from her eyes and couldn’t say anything more.He suddenly felt his heart was aching.He freed her hand and left the room.

Anastasia burst out her tears.She felt like she was shuttered.She forgot everything about her past,no relative,no friend,no job.She was totally dependent on Arman whom she thought was her brother but he didnt even trust her.

She kept thinking and crying for the whole night and finally made a decision.

10 am on the morning,Arman opened her eyes.Last night he was awake almost whole night.After scolding Anastasia he went back to his room.He had the urge of apologise to her but didn’t have the courage.May be she didn’t do anything.He should give her a chance to explain.But instead he said her those nasty word.May be she is hurt now.He drank for whole night and finally went to sleep when the sky was almost lightened so woke up late.He thought last night he was so rude to Anastasia and decided to apologise from her.
