An adult in Pokemon - Chapter 86 Strange Island Part 1
Some odd things happened after Gray waited for the others. A message was given to him from the Bubbles about how he needed to provide support for the boat.
(Rescue Officer Abigal’s boat is the only way for you to leave the island. Leave adequate protection from your Pokemon. Rewards: ????, ????, Evolution stone.)
‘Well, then need to leave some strong support. I will take Titan and Pyron with me. Growlithe can defintely lead the others.’ Gray swam back to the boat. Which the others found odd. “Go.” Releasing all his Pokemon, he gave them a quick gist of what was going on.
“Understood. I will make sure everything goes ok. Great time to build up my Dark type. Growlithe said happy. He was ready to lead a higher mission. The others nodded accepting things. Bedrill rested on top of the boat. It was absorbing sunlight for something.
“Good. Make sure you look out for each other first. Officer Abigal..” Gray said serious. “Your boat needs to stay out in the waters. We might need to make a hasty retreat. And… I think it will be key to something.”
“Alright. I will keep watch.” Officer Abigal nodded. “Officer Joy and I will make sure things go fine out here. We may need a little more help though. The waters might have something more in them.”
“I will stay.” Crystal said cheerfully. “Before coming in, I received a message from the Elite League. Gold is on his way here. I get to tell him the news!” She gave Silver a kiss. Embarrassing the young man.
“Hehehe, yeah I will go with you Gray. I take it Sabrina is going with?” Silver said.
“Yeah, I am. Is the snake going to?” Sabrina asked looking at the Servine. As soon as it was released, it wrapped around Gray as usual.
“No, she will stay hear on the boat. She will move independently in the area. her special skills will work wonders.” After Gray said that, Servin slithered off him and entered the water. The problem was that it disappeared from sight. Not even leaving ripples in the water. “No need to worry about her. She can take care of herself.”
After a little talking, Gray, Sabrina, and Silver went to shore. Clair Swam in the water near the boat. Crystal remained on deck. The two Officers went to figure the boat out more.
“This place is weird.” Silver said quietly. The others just nodded. “I think we are in for.. something unusual. A little bit like ..” He stopped once Misty and June came up to then. Both were dressed like the people here.
“So you have been here.. for how long now?” Gray asked. his eyes checked them over to see if anything was wrong. They seemed fine. Which begged the question. “Why have you not left?”
“Just a month.” June answered. “Long enough to think about things.”
“Oh? How ominous.” Sabrina said.
“A lot of corpses.” Gray looked at the people intently. His aura washed over and confirmed what he thought. “These are all walking corpses. Or to be precise, walking solidified aura. They are all dead already. Just imitations of what they use to be. It is… ugh..”
“How do we figure out how to get to the bottom of this?” June asked. “We have had trouble just lind things were. The water is about the only thing safe and untainted. The fruit and vegetables on the outer area in the forest taste like ash. But it looks good.”
“Bleagh, we found that out the hard way. The locals are nice enough. They explained it was a sacred island. If the food tasted like crap, it was our own fault. They did not pay attention when June explained it to them scientifically at all. Blatantly ignoring it even.” Misty said annoyed. She was sick of the island. “We wanted to leave, but Gary is to injured. He just woke up a day ago. And not for long.”
“I treated him as best I could. But with Chroma off to who knows where, not much I can do.” June said. “Recovery of aura has been difficult. Something on the island is absorbing at a fast pace. But that is not the biggest problem.”
“The island population keeps changing. Tourist come on from off the island. They… do not leave for some reason. Just start living their life here from what we have heard and seen.” Misty added. “The bird pokemon and who ever is in charge has been doing this.”
“Why did she go somewhere?” Gray asked feeling a weird sensation. “Chroma I mean?”
“Someone in the crowd caused it. But we couldnt tell who. It happened when we were in the center of town.” June said.
“Head to the center of the town.” Gray walked off. Silver following behind as Sabrina dropped back to talk with June u0026 MIsty.

-Center of town-
.
“Hey, guys!” Dawn said excited. She then saw the newcomers with Misty. Gary, on the other hand, clenched his chest. “You ok Gary?” Her voice was really worried. Her hands even more since they already went to help support him.
“I am fine. This is who I was looking for.” Gary’s tone was sharp as he looked At Gray. A large build up of aura left from him. It turned into a ball. The little yellow red ball stopped in front of Gray turning into a Vicnti. “My work is done.”
With out its support, Gary went pale and was fading fast.
“Woah guy, you are not dying just yet.” Gray wrapped Gary in aura energy repairing his life veins in the process. Someone had done another on Gary a long time ago. They had severed his life veins making his very movement painful. The fact he still drew breath was a testament to his strength. “30′ years should be good enough. Thanks for the message.”
Dawn, like the others were shocked at the news. They just thought Gary was sick and not actually terminal.
“Boop boop!” Large bubbles of Aura burst inside him. Gray could feel eyes on him from around the area. Mostly from those who were much older. They did nothing, just watched what happened.
“I feel fine. Thanks!” Gary smiled happily at Gray. More than anything, he wanted to know the message details. “I hope he is ready.”
“Lucifiel, you have gotten weaker in your old age!” Rafael stated. “No matter no matter. You ran into quite the trouble.” His voice was brash and everything came out rude. Despite his adorable little appearance.
“Aye, that I have.” Gray just smiled. “It is Gray by the way in public.”
“Gray… Gray… Gray..” Rafael responded. Committing it to memory after saying it there times. “Haa I need to go get the rest of me. But that place collapsed or barred off. Have no idea what happen to me. This was a gamble separating and entering this sick one.”
“It is with someone else?” Gray reached out and shared the information that Mewtwo acquired. That it was with a trainer Gold in safe hands. Rafael transferred all the information into Gray with a blessing as well. “Thanks for that. Are you going to stay with Gary for now?”
“Of course. He is a very strong trainer. Considering he clashed with the Pretender, it is the least I can do.” The little Pokemon floated over to Gary. “Call me Vicntii and everyone will be ok. You need to get stronger again. Lots of fighting to do.”
“What an adorable little pokemon.” Sabrina said in wonderment.
“Shitty brother suppose to be the strongest. I could leave quite a few lumps on you right now.” Vicntii floated around a little happier. He paused at Sabrina and sniffed. “Sniff, sniff?” Head tilting in confusion. His big eyes staring in wonder. He floated off back to Gray. “Hmm, hmmm, time to get out of here.”
“I know. But work will not allow it.” Gray shook his head no. “Need a little time to digest things. We need to go where you all have been staying. We have been sailing for a few days, three days of rest would be nice before heading out.”
Gary’s face turned to a light smile. Dawn started thinking about how Gray was able to heal people.
.
-House in the woods-
.
May was the one who found the place in the woods. A few pokemon had told her it was ok since it was abandon. They were the only ones she trusted on the island. The others took to long to become skeptic. It cost them as they moved around the place. The locals were overly friendly.
The leader Terri the main one. She pushed a great deal to get June and Dawn to join in on the customs. June did as a scientific study. But she learned to not eat the food after the second day they prepared. It left her lethargic.
Dawn was completely into learning the dance customs. If not for Misty catching her in a dazed state one time, she would have been lost to them. But she did keep going around to mix with the people. Despite the claims of what happened. Whether it was due to the time she spent with them or the food, Dawn was acting weird.
According to May and Misty. But she would always act normal once she came back to the house. June speculated it was some time of influence in the air. The air near the house was different. Very clear and devoid of the smog that popped out of the ground in the town and beach.
“I told them we should have left when we first arrived.” May sipped her drink and watched them fuss over Gary. “Why did we take this mission.” Gray found it funny that May was the most grown up out all of them. She saw the World for what it was and adapted. She would clench a necklace around her neck everytime she felt extremely nervous. “Once we found out the hospital here was to basic, we should have left.”
“Eh, but he would not have made it mama.” The little Torchic moved around. It was extremely intelligent. gray thought it was just a smart pokemon. But a quick check when he helped it up revealed it was a hybrid. “I think it would be ok.”
“You always say that lately my little Ray.” May smiled as she rubbed its head. “Nothing to important here either. The beast are.. sick in the head.”
“No, they are not. Just a little confused is all.” Dawn said coming over. “Not all of them are like this. They did help us.”
“Tch, 4 people helped us. The island has over 200,000 people. It should not be stuck in this weird timeframe. Even more so with it so close to the Johto region.” She pulled out some maps and laid them out in front of Gray. “Look at this, everything is wrong. Before we came into here because of that storm, I surveyed the area during a quick scouting mission. Another island has risen. Much older than this one. It is a dungeon brought here as well.”
“Does not have the same problem I take it?” Gray asked looking everything over. The bubbles started popping up telling him to look the maps over in detail. “Tell me whatever you can about these.”
(Risen Dungeon has a Plate that is needed. Recommend to travel after 8 badges.)
“Not a problem.” May started telling him in detail. She was happy to find someone with a intrest in her maps. The way Gray scanned them intently was defintely making her feel better. “Planning on traveling to any of them?”
“Yes, in the future. But to busy right now. Need to make my Pokemon stronger first.”
“I have something that can help with Pokemon Fusion actually.” May pulled out some fruit. “They are a type of poison but the body builds antibodies quickly to them. The stronger your aura, the faster it returns.”
(Eat the fruit. It is part of the reason you are here.) The bubble popped up out of the blue again. The wording was in gold instead of the usual white. Gray hesitated but ate the two fruit she gave him. (Digesting. Creating immunity to Arceus, Deoxys, and Eternatus influence.)
(Acquire more with the help of May. Doing so will help her and make a strong ally.)
“These are freaking gold. Where did you find them?” Gray asked ecstatically. His mind already thinking of ways to acquire more to make a vaccine.
“A dungeon actually. But it was in the Unova region. Found it while looking for things.” Her son the Torchic hoped unto her shoulder to comfort her. “I am ok. Just tired is all.”
“When we leave here. Me and you need to have a talk. I think I can help with what you are looking for.” May gave a nod but didn’t hold her breath. After this island, she was ready to take a break.
“Sure. Let’s go back over these maps.” May said to distract herself.
The two spent a few hours on it a little longer. Gray felt Clair was restless. So he had a mental conversation as he went over the map with May. She was interested in the maps to, but did not want to leave from her post on the boat.
Gray stopped at a corner bit of writing on a map. It was written in the ancient language. “The Lord of the Sea fell from the Sky. Wings clipped by the others.” Gray felt the text was missing some. “Where did you copy this from?”
“I wrote that. You can read the ancient language?!” Dawn asked shocked. Gray gave her a nod. “This map piece was part of one my mom had. It has been passed down through the family for years.”
“I see.” Gray gave her a curt nod but said nothing else. Looking back at the map, the Blessing from Lugia started to burn up. ‘If you can here this Judas, get here now!’ Gray transmitted to the Blessing. He had know idea if he received the message, but it stopped burning at least. “Dawn, tell me a little about your family.”
