An adult in Pokemon - Chapter 88 Strange Island Part 3 You are no God
Gray ran ignoring everything else. He could feel Giratina and Yvetal lashing out inside of him. Jolteon broke out from his soul. Killing everything in front of Gray. This will cause the Poke Soul some damage, but it could not resist.
Sabrina used Pokefusion with her Espeon. Empress stayed within, boosting her power. With Ori still resting, she did not want to risk the chance of something happening to her vessel. June/Chroma shot off to give help to Clair. Misty took control down on the ground.
Something came up during all of this. Dawn, and Sabrina’s Miltank Mary came up. Mary had great healing abilities with her milk. She was able to break the hold that was on Dawn. But she could not heal the damage to Pyron. Her job was till help protect Dawn for now.
“Hope I am not to late.” Dawn started to sing. The loud sound reverberated due to her aura. Gray had passed the Blessing of Lugia during the last few days. Officer Abigal and Dianchie had taught her the song to help.
Gray felt lost as the fighting continued. Doubt and self-loathing appeared and vanished easily enough. The priority was to make sure Gary lived and the others. But his Pokemon are not on that list. The bubbles could not mind him on that. Not unless they had a higher purpose.
And Pyron was a Pokemon Gray caught because he likes his attitude. Nothing special about him, but his attitude. The pokemon agreed to travel after a battle. The first pokemon he caught. Empress was given to him. And she found him anyway. So that didn’t count. As well as growlithe.
“You can do it. Just get up and we will fuse.” Gray held Pyron by the head. He could feel the aura slowing leaving. Try as he might, he couldnt stabilize him. The Full Restore did nothing from his bag. Just prolonged it for a little. Revive only worked for a knockout. “Dammit!”
“It is ok Dood.” Pyron closed his eyes from exhaustion. “I was able to fight against a Legendary for a bit. It was always my goal. I just wish I won against him. I was just to weak.” His feathers moved a little as he tried to get to build a little strength.
“No. Just not as experienced. That is why you will recover and we will try again.” Gray tried his best to ignore the bubbles that appeared.
(Gray, you must continue your task. Before the lives that are here, are lost. Some of the people are innocent.)
“Boom!” The sound of a cannon went off. Clair and June were kncked to the ground. Ho-Oh flapped his wings angrily. To circumvent Dawn singing, Ho-Oh pulled the aura in from the sacrifices. Dawn kept on singing. Her song protecting the people some. But the ones who received her voice, gave themselves up to Ho-Oh.
Sabrina turned to look at Gray and Pyron. She said nothing. waiting to see what would happen. Part of her want to grab him and leave. Another part want to see him lose control. Either option was better than seeing him like this.
“One more fight Dood!” Pyron stood up but fell forward. Its entire body. Turned into aura energy and entered Gray. ‘I will give everything to end him!’
“I am God!” Ho-Oh declared loudly. The flames growing in strength as its aura surged.
“You are no God!” Gray yelled standing up. His veins throbbing with Dark energy. “PokeSoul!”
The silhouette of Giratina and Yvetal was behind him. He did not turn to either of them or the fused state. The light in the area disappeared as night arrived. Black clouds blotted out the sun. The power Ho-Oh received disappeared with the lose of the sun. Dawn’s singing kicked up a notch.
“Fwwwooosh!” Washed over in flames, a Charizard appeared behind him before enveloping his entire body. One thing about it however, its demeanor was twisted in Rage.
On Gray’s head was a full helmet. The mouthpiece looked separate until he moved the jaw. It wasn’t however, it was part of his mouth. In the inside were teeth sharper than the blade of a Honedge. His skin was as smooth as leather but black as the nights’ sky. Claws thick and powerful that could tear through a Steelix side shine under the light. His tail moved about slowly. The flame changing from, black to white, then to grey before repeating over and over.
His wings were smaller and not as powerful as his other form. But it looked more flexible and allowed for more maneuvering. His feet were exposed with sharp toenails. Might as well have been claws at the end. His legs looked powerful as the veins were visible with each flex of his calves.
“Raaaawr!” Gray took off into the air after Ho-Oh. No teleportation just raw speed. ‘Swords Dance!’ Before he reached, the move was used creating several psychic swords. “Slash!” His claws glowed for a brief moment as he cut the eye of Ho-Oh.
“Slchk!” Ho-Oh had its eye cut open as well as the side of its face. “Sching, sching” the psychic swords cut into its wings at the same moment.
“Foolish!” Ho-Oh spread its wings as it tried to use a recovery move. “Roo,..” it managed to say as it was stabbed in the beak and then twice in the shoulders. “Caaww!” It turned into a cry. It started to fall after.
Clair was on her feet thanks to Mary. Only thing left of her Pokesoul, were the gold rings on her skin and the helmet. The side protrusion that were on the side of a Rayquaza usually, pulled in energy. Sinking her feet in the ground, Clair fired a Hyper Beam.
“Baaaahhh!” A sonic boom traveled out from the intensity. Sending debris in every direction. The beam travelled directly towards Ho-Oh. ‘Pin it Gray!’ Claire thought out.
“Roo!” Ho-Oh felt an overwhelming psychic force hold it in place. Gray’s eyes were glowing. Leaving a ghost trail as he moved towards it. “I know that power.”
Ho-Oh fought against the restraints. But Gray was not having any of that. A move of his hand and, the manifested swords stabbed into Ho-Oh’s ribcage. The brief pain caused it to wince and get hit.
The Hyper Beam pierced its belly make a hole. Clair was able to maintain herself after that. She fainted. Sabina scooped her up and laid her near Dawn and June who fell back. Mary had turned back into a Milktank. She was using Roll Out crushing everything in sight.
Recover, Ho-Oh was back on the attack. It fired Flamethrower after Flamethrower at Gray.
“The Dianchie, where is it? Is it here by chance?” Ho-Oh asked. Gray’s eyed squinted in rage. As he flew around in the air. “She is, isn’t she. And the girl that is singing, a descendant of my rival. I will take care of them all later.”
Ho-Oh flew up close to Gray and was about to fire once more. Instead, it flapped its wings using Wing Atack. Both hit gray sending him away a little. With another flap, it created a Whirlwind to push gray far away.
It was trying to buy time until its followers could make it. The mayor was ordered to bring everyone in the area. Close to 200,000 people were on their way.
“I will spare you for now.” Ho-Oh turn to head towards them instead. The beach was the best option. The Whirlwind had carried Gray far away. With Jolteon on the ground chasing, he would be able to locate Ho-Oh.

The others received the message loud and clear from Gray mentally. His psychic scream hit them hard. The order was for them to flee. It went out the moment Pyron went down. Abigal followed the order and had the few sane people on the boat leaving. The second was operated by Silver and Crystal. A few people that fought back were on it. They were mentally scared over the things they had done.
Gary convinced his new partner to leave as well. Gold covered the retreat. Ho-Oh had just made it to the beach and was about to rob the others of their life force. But up above, the dark clouds came over. It was followed by Gray. Still angry. And getting angrier by the second. His tail was already three times its initial size.
“Aerial Ace!” Gray was already heading for it. Lighting up in aura power, he smashed it to the water. Ho-oh started to flap to try and get out. Its wings were damaged again. Making it harder to fly. The water zapping its strength even more with the struggle. Gray pulled in the power of Fire in. Has tail just flickered black as he became a Dark-type only.
“Fwap, fwap!” Wings kicking up another Whirlwind. Pushing Pokemon in the water away. As he hovered right on top of Ho-Oh. He started punching the pokemon to vent his anger. Blow after blow turning into a Mega Punch.
“Gurgle!” Ho-Oh’s head popped up for a moment in the struggle. Servine used Vine Whip and pulled it’s head back under. Gray’s used his feet to push its body down as he started to drown the Pokemon. It struggled as best it could tiring itself out faster.
Servine pulling it down from underneath. Made it an easier process. But the natural heat of ho-Oh caused the water to boil. Servine did not like it. Especially after all it’s fighting already having weakened it. Godzilla had swam back. But it was tired, so Gray returned him. He did not have it in him to speak about his best friend passing already.
Ho Oh’s regeneration was still to fast. But the water cut it off a great deal and weakened it. With the constant attacking while drowning it, the health was dropping down fast.
“You have to stop!” A surviving local said as they got onto a Lapras and charged at Gray. “Please you must!”
“Titan go!” Gray said coldly. The NidoKing came out of the pokeball and landed in the water.
“Woosh!” It shot across the water with its horn glowing. It was using MegaHorn. The odd thing to those who watched was the water itself. It slowly gathered into Nidoking as if it was bowing to him and his presence. Giving him more power and speed.
“Bam!” The Lapras and the person on top were knocked away. They flew across the water into the cliffside.
“Crumble!” the rocks fell burying them in the water.
“Nidookingg!” Imbeciles! Titan roared as it circled the waters. It would attack whoever came next.
“So angry.” June/Chroma said.
“We need to move back and recover.” Sabrina said. “Empress is almost tapped out.” They looked at each other and moved back. Focusing on recovering they looked around at the others. “This place is outside regional waters correct?”
“Um, yes it is.” A local said. “Why?”
“Because Gray is going to kill Ho-Oh and that person inside. Well, thing would be more appropriate.” Sabrina said. “I reckon he will do it brutally.”
One of the reasons Sabrina had not followed along was to get information from the people that still lived. They were loyal to Ho-Oh and not controlled. Just really faithful followers. Descendants of the first people who served Ho-Oh. Each mind gave Sabrina a more darker and twised picture. With Ho-Oh injure and fighting, it made it easier for her to dive into their minds.
“He cant do that!” Another local yelled. “Ho-Oh is a God above all others.”
“Please can you get him to stop if he defeats it?” Another local asked coming forward. It was the Mayor. “Please it won’t bode well if he kills them all.”
“What are you hiding?” June asked after looking at Sabrina who shrugged.
“Well, it’s a long story. But I will make it short.” The Mayor said.

.
“Gray, stop!” June/Chroma said. She watched as Gray continued to rip Ho-Oh apart. Literally piece by piece. Even though the pokemon was out cold from the drowning, it was still capable of reviving. “If you kill him, the people will die to.”
“No, they wont.” Gray said as he continued. Not stopping as each blow made him happy. As well as making Ho-Oh’s health drop. Servine was using absorb to restore itself from the wounds and burns it received. “I know what I am doing.”
“How do you know?” Sabrina asked. Empress had went to sleep. She was to tired to continue. “What makes you think..” Her words caught in her mouth as Gray reached and pulled out Ho-Oh still-beating heart. “It was alive despite all of that!?”
“Because those people already died. A long time ago at that.” Gray popped the heart in his mouth and swallowed. The power would take a while to become his own. But he didnt need it this instant. Turning to the shore, he smiled darkly. “Rest now.” He then snapped his fingers and the people all dropped. All except the Mayor and a few others who arrived in the last few years.
“No please!” The Mayor said running over. “You have to stop.” She started begging. “I cant lose..” Gray placed his hands on her neck and snapped it.
“Crack,” her neck broke and she dropped. Bones sticking out in each direction and the head falling away from the body. Gray then stepped back as a Black gate opened up. Giratina walked out after the gate opened. Black chains went out dragging the woman’s soul as well as a few of the people that had fallen.
“What’s going on?” Misty asked. No one answered as Gray watched everything transpire silently. “Gray what is this?” Misty felt her head turn fuzzy. She expended to much aura. Her mind was fuzzy because of it. She forgot her Archangel self and who Gray was. It would return after a small rest.
“What it looks like. The Mayor and the others were killing people by sacrificing them to Ho-Oh. The people’s aura and life force-fed into them and this dead island.” Gray said coldly. “It kept them and the place alive. But they would need more sacrifices to cover for the people who joined from the previous sacrifice. It created a loop.”
“But the people.. are.. they cant have all participated?” Dawn asked. She did not want to believe it.
“Think what you want.” Gray said looking at the souls. “The few that resisted afterward were locked away.”
“You can’t just kill people like that.” Dawn said.
“Yes, I can.” Gray said not paying her any mind about it.
“Says who?”
“Says me.” Gray said angry. His tail smacked the ground. Giratina looked over at him. “You can try to stop me if you want.” He then relaxed the Charizard Pokesoul. “But you cant beat me broken little bird. I promise I will kill you if you try. As well as rip out that Pokesoul of yours as well. Judas will understand. If he doesnt, then so be it. I do not need everyone’s approval for what I do.”
“Gray no!” Misty said as she stepped between the two. She looked back at Dawn and saw she wanted to fight. “Dawn he is not kidding. Stand down. Now!” She did remember the fight Gray had with Ash. That was not something she wanted to see again among her friends.
“Fine!” Dawn pouted as she looked away. “Rotten person.”
“Yah mama rotten. She should have taught you how to fight instead of being a stupid contista or whatever its called.” Gray said as he looked over at Titan. “Either eat it or throw it away. The pokemon in the water need food after all this even more so.”
“NidoKing!” Titan roared as it threw the Lapras back in the water. “The others will need the food in the water, that is true. Quite a few Pokemon are still weak.” With permission, it went on the hunt to help others. Gray released Crocknaw back out to help with operations as well. “This report will suck.”
“Gray… give him to me.” Dragonite came down. “It is not much but..”
“Do as you will.” Gray sent the remaining Pokesoul of Pyron over. It almost dissipated completely before Saint Peter took it away. ‘Not enough of him left to revive with my current power.’ Gray balled his fist so tight the skin broke over the knuckles.
