An adult in Pokemon - Chapter 96 A small talk
The trial site was a little like an old temple. Just full of wood. Actually had ninja guards. Wielding naginatas and bostaffs. The faces concealed with masks shaped like.. bats. Very scary. If you were five years old and a respectable halfwit.
Things Gray and June were not. Well, the halfwit part. They acted like kids more often than not.
“A woman with purple hair. Well, that narrows it down in this area.” Gray looked at the lead person. The wild purple ponytail sticking out gave a bit of her identity away. ‘Why not wear a cowl or change the hairstyle a little. “Maybe she is not the gym leader’s daughter. Or was it the grandaughter. Koga looked really old last I saw the pictures.”
“Hehe, still younger than Blaine.” June gave a soft chuckle.
“Greetings,” Mismagius said to the woman and guards. “… he is here to see the Mistress.”
“Very well. Follow me.” Janine said. Daughter of Koga was identified after Gray looked it up. A bit of a chip on her shoulder it seemed. Both Grey and June did not impress her.
‘So why did you two keep switching your names up?’ Gray asked towards June mentally. Speaking to the Mew sleeping inside. She went to from Savage to wanting to be called Impact. It was slightly weird. ‘Did you lose a bet?’
“Hehe.” June chuckled as that is what happened exactly. ‘It is only for a little while. You should hear the other names she wanted to call her.’
Coming to deep inside the talked until finally making it to the end location.
A woman sat at the very forefront. It was the trainer Lusamine. A powerful aura was around her. The silhouette of the pokemon Lunala floated from her. Changing into the likeness of her chosen partner. Just with starlight hair instead. And dark pink eyes.
“Hello Gray. That is the preferred name you like yes?” Her voice came out calm but slightly hypnotic. A side effect of the power she wielded. Gray gave a nod to her as she turned to June. “And the mother as well. But half of you.”
“Sooo what do you want really?” Gray asked.
“Right to the chase.” Lunala enjoyed the candidness. She moved to take a seat. Inviting them to do the same. Sitting down, she spoke her proposal. “How goes the judgment? What can I do to have you stall it more.”
“Room for improvement. On the road to destruction in a few years. Not enough good people.” Gray said in a dual-tone. “What can you offer me really?”
“My blessing. Without the trail.” Lunala’s statement pissed Lusamine and Janine off. Both had to do the trial to gain the Blessing. What made him so special. “All you have to do, is agree to stop the first judgment.”
“Hmmm, ok.” Gray smiled. A bright light flashed and engulfed him. Standing up to leave was easy enough. “Thanks for the Blessing.” June looked back a little as they moved. Thinking it odd it was that easy.
“Yes.” Gray smiled. “She gave me a blessing but no power. Always a crafty one she is. Be happy you do not remember who she is. A very dangerous one.”
“Hmm if you say so.” June mumbled back. For some reason, she interlocked her hand with his. “Haaa, let’s go do something fun on the way back.”
As they moved shifting into Pokesoul and Pokefusion forms, they missed the gaze coming from behind.
Janine followed behind trailing them. Her stealth skills were pretty damn good. The very night helping to hide her. Taking any light from her persons’.
Inside the Temple, Lusamine was confronting her partner. Very angry at what she did as well as her not stopping Janine from following them. Only warning it may lead to her death.
“The Aether Foundation, should make it’s move soon. Not worry about what I do with my power.” Lunala stated as she moved about. Not minding her anger in the least. Almost expecting it to have happened.
“I do not understand why!?” Lusamine anger would not settle so easy. “We all did the trial before receiving a blessing. This is the first time someone did not have to. And what is this Judgement stuff as well?!”
“The deciding factor if you all live.” Lunala said plainly. In an instant, she returned to her pokemon form. Not entering the medium state as she watched her human partner with interest. “A deciding factor if the human and pokemon population here get to live or is wiped out.”
*Thump!* Lusamine dropped on her butt. All the anger leaving her body in an instant. The pokemon before her never joked. Always stoic or cryptic in the words spoken.
“The delay.. how long is it?” The woman found her voice after some time. She did not get an answer. “Do you not know?”
“I knew before. Not anymore.” Lunala stated. “Another would have to ask what I have. I think it best the Aether Foundation makes it’s move. Do not need another Kalos region.”
“Is something happening back home?”
“Just a feeling really.” Lusamine did not say more. Not much could be said really. The humans there were doing well. But, something strange was happening. A weird energy was heading to the place. “As the only remaining champion, I think it best you act.”
“I see.” Lunala gave up on worrying anything about Gray at that time. Defending her home is what matters. She invited Lusamine back into her. Happy the powerful pokemon agreed. ‘We need to move!’
*Fwoosh!* They flew off in blinding light.
Lunala thought happily things worked out as needed. Janine was to headstrong to manipulate into the right path. But Lusamine could be. When her home was endangered, she would act.
The moment they were far enough away, the temple sealed up. The guards dispersing as the place went on lockdown in a way. Dark mist obscured the place from average trainers and pokemon.
.
Sabrina u0026 Clair-
.
After cleaning out the temple and dealing with the authorities. Sabrina was ready to leave the city. Clair had to stay after everything. Someone needed to reorganize Blackthorn City.
Currently, they were both in the main bedroom cuddling togethor. Having given into old passions. Sabrina leaning against the headboard with Clair looking up at her.
“Are you ok?” Clair felt Sabrina was upset with what happen. Not like she knew this was going on at all. “Wanna go again to get your mind off things?”
“Maybe later.” Sabrina gave a painful smile. A brief life left her. Ori teleported away to deliver news and what she obtained. Unable to stay with Sabrina any longer. “Haaa, could have waited a little longer. But then again, it is best he knows what is going on.”
*Shine!* No longer influenced by Ori, her natural aura energy shot up more. The Psychic, Dark aura burning brightly. The blessings along her body lighting up to help heal them both.
“You killed them so easy. So brutally.” Clair was still coming to terms with what happened a few hours ago. Sabrina and her pokemon left no survivors after the decision was made. The good news, the cameras in the pouter area of the temple showed them fleeing and getting attacked. “Screaming, subduing didn’t work. People I knew all my life attack to kill me.”
“Yes.” Sabrina caressed her face. “They were not alive anymore. This is what we are dealing with Clair. Think you can fight this and stay the same?” Clair shuddered a little. First getting experimented on was one thing. But now this was to much. Killing people corrupted by a false god. “Right now, I need to get back to Gray. I would like it if you come with me.”
“Haaa, the city will need some work. The League wants me to state what happened. We are going to blame it on the artificial aura medicine distributed. Bring them under scrutiny. I doubt the “Company” will let this go simply.” While Clair spoke, Sabrina’s hands started moving. Pulling her further up. “I will come to you after the town is straightened out. it should take a few days. Hopefully, the person that is sent by the Elite League fixes things.”
“Then you come to me.” Sabrina’s voice was quite possessive. Her eyes glowing slightly. “I am not gonna lose you. Understand?”
“Umm.. yes.” Clair blushed. The current Sabrina reminded her of when they were younger and fooled around a little. “I hope this doesn’t end like last time.” The moment she said that, Sabrina flipped her onto her back. “Eep!”
“I don’t know.” Sabrina’s tone became cold. “Planning to try and set me up with that shitty cousin of yours?” Her hand hovering as it travels downward. Stopping right at her destination tentatively. “You understand me more now yes?”
“I do.” Clair looked on with anticipation. Slightly squirming to have her hurry up. “Women and whatever Gray is.”
“He is mine.” Sabrina thumbed Clair’s clit. Seeing her gasp a little she wanted her point to be across. “The others are just playthings I allow. Even Gabriel if she oversteps.” She like Ori enough, but human emotions started clouding judgment a little. And almost dying against the controlled people.
.
A few days later-
.
Gray and June had a fun enough time in the woods training and just goofing off. The pokemon were happy for it as well. Picking up on the mood of their trainers. Gray ended up watching the competition fully.
June actually getting into the spirit and cheering. Doing much better than they first were.
Bill’s grandfather lived in the town. Something she forgot about actually. The man-made no trouble for them. Only apologizing on his grandsons’ behalf. But a few stares she recieved from people bothered her a little.
June did look younger than before thanks to the aura usage. But people who knew her personally were odded out by her being with a young man like Gray. Despite Gray was actually older than his appearance. With her as well technically.
“It will be fine June.” Gray walked with her slowly. Moving down to greet Hilda after her place in the competition finished. She came in second. Only losing due to fatigue. “We just need to cheer her up is all.”
“Yeah..” June droned out. She just didn’t know-how. She only knew her for a little bit so far. But Hilda was easy enough to get along with.
Hilda took the trophy sticking it into her bag. Savage was down in the dumps on the ground. If she was able to hold it in just a little more and endure.. they would have won. But her aura was still troublesome to control.
Hilda scooped the Pokemon up and headed to the others.
“Good battle.” Gray said with a smile. Savage looking at him confused. She was expecting him to be upset she lost. “The coordination between you and your pokemon and medium are getting better and better. A bit of a learning curve still from all the power.”
“Yeah. But we will get there.” Hilda was not dismayed at all. She looked down to her partner in her hands. “See, told you we were getting better.”
“Right.” Savage nodded tentatively. She was tired and also a little confused still. Hearing the words did make her happy. As well as the pat on the head Gray gave her next. ‘I will train much harder! I will be the best!’
‘I know you will. Just do not be in such a rush to get there is all. A lot can be learned from losing.’ Gray stopped rubbing her head and started walking away. “So, food or head to the hotel to rest?”
“Hotel.” They said togethor. June was really wanting an actual bed to rest today for a bit. Hilda was waiting on a package to be delivered. A device to help her train aura better. Especially wild aura like Savage’s.
.
Hotel-
.
Gray was freshly cleaned up and the pokemon all fed. Hilda ended up just opting to sleep. Way more tired than she originally thought. Her Pokemon all laid out as well.
June watched his backside before he put a shirt on. Almost hypnotized, she walked up hugging him from behind. Startling Gray slightly.
“Hmm, you ok?” Gray looked over his shoulder.
“I am. More than ok.” June smile grew brighter. Then a flash of light appeared as Ori appeared. Before hse could react, the pokemon entered her. The odd thing, she was in her form of Mew. “What!?”
*Shine!* The aura energy was riched and made June’s body tingled. Chroma woke up in an instant. No longer fighting the fusion anymore that needed to take place for the future.
“Fiel…” June’s voice came out lowly. She was trembling slightly. Her hold on him getting stronger. Tears coming down a little. “.. I am scared for them. We need to do more to help them.”
“I will do what I can.” Gray’s voice came out in a dual-tone. Holding her hands as they stood there. “You know the rules. Are you asking me to delay judgment?”
“Grrr.” June gritted her teeth. “No. I rather you fight more. You are better at violence than staying your hand. No matter what it is.” The very notion of encouraging violence unsettling to her. “Something happen in Blackthorn City.”
As she told him what happened, Hilda listened from the other bed. Unmoving and slightly scared from the information she heard. This was worse than what happened in the forest.
Once she finishing telling Gray, June was limp against him. Still shaking slightly. Hilda broke them from their moment.
“What do I have to do to stop this?”
“We fight and find others to help. Convince people that Arceus is not the way.” Gray said simply. “Find out who is beyond this Company. Who is funding it before it gets to late. Only a few people work for me.”
“Right. And one region fell already. But that is unrelate right? Due to Dynamax energy going out of control.” Hilda said. Her legs swung to the side of the bed as she gave her full attention. “We need more powerful pokemon. And better control of what we have.”
“This is true.” June was still thinking of ways to help. Her fighting abilities were rising. But that was just a small dent. Understanding of pokemon was the better option right now. “I think I have a method to help with aura tuning. From the notes.. and what I have gained from memory now it should work.”
“Oh, so what is it?” Hilda cocked her head to the side interested.
