Anamnesis: Queen of the Apocalypse - Chapter 95
The mage clone stopped moving for a couple of seconds before going limp while floating as if it’s dead on water.
“That’s not a mage clone, that’s a suicide nuker.”
But the clone didn’t go limp for no reason, the mana core inside of it starts to convert mana automatically. All of the data is sent to your mana sea.
“The developed mana core began to convert mana, is that even possible without consciousness strings?” you ask.
“The clone is a part of the artifact itself and not the byproduct of it, the sentient consciousness is strong enough to convert mana from the surroundings.”
“That is really convenient.”
You create another two of them. 27 fighter clones and 3 mage clones. This amount of firepower is enough to annihilate almost anything on the battlefield, some of the high ranked Calamities did manage to fight with two or three clones toe to toe but they don’t know that the clone have a hive mind in which they can call in for backup and conquer the beast with sheer numbers.
It’s night, the moon is out and your clones are fighting without rest for hours.
You and Lues as the frontline of the western battleground did nothing but play Uno near the sealed Laum together with Goyang. Surprisingly, Laum is intelligent enough that he decides to give up on whatever his plan was and so the four of you play the uno out of boredom.
“Did you fight here reluctantly?” you ask the three-meter knight.
“GRAAAAHH!” Laum roars, putting a two-green on the ground separated from both of you by space.
The spectacular move done by the knight has made the crimson devil disgusted. “Bleh! Skip!”
Goyang puts four-green.
“Hmm, I have too many materials, guess I’ll be doing something about it, so you folks can go on.”
“GRAAAAAHH!” the knight replies, as he bids you farewell.
“If you are going to the rear, fetch us some snacks!” Lues says, getting overwhelmed by two uno grandmasters, or it’s just that she is bad at it.
“I’m not going to the rear but might as well do it after checking with my clones.”
You soar high to the night sky aglow with a bright blanket of stars. The pale crescent moon shines like a silvery claw in the night sky, easing you cause it doesn’t have a giant bloody grin and is colored red.
Together with the other parallel minds, except the jackass—you try to create another kind of clone that will achieve a decisive victory upon your enemies.
“Uhm, is it fine to stretch the volume this big?”
“Yes! Increase the density more!”
“Might as well put more mana into it.”
The three of you have managed to create a monstrosity of war machines. The new clone’s size is ten times larger than your physical body. It possesses 8 mana cores and because it can shapeshift its body part at will, you give the hive mind permission to split the giant clone.
With your enhanced memory, you scan the vague schematic of the microgun you saw back then in the engineering department and slam it into the database. The giant clone immediately develops its own version of microgun and shapes its hands into those.
“Uhm, are you sure that we’re not overdoing it?”
“There is no such thing as overdoing!”
It had been great so far until there was a lack of energy within the vessel. The clone can’t handle too much material and mana core inside of it because they are constantly attracting each other.
To solve this problem, the council of Pitka’s consciousness decides to condense the clone, shrinking it while turning all eight mana cores into layers within the center. In the end, your own size is the most stable state from the giant lump of blood.
The new clone bore three wisps orbiting her at different angles. Illuminating the surroundings in light blue, the newest clone has the power to conjure 40 sun without pause.
“I think we’ve created a monster.”
This might be what a scientist felt when they created the atomic bomb. They have gone too far.
It might be a god that you’ve created, a god of war, born within the vicinity of Amos Citadel. You unconsciously named her Ares.
‘Ares Clone’ acquired.
Your own clone is looking down on you with its determined glare, clenching its fists. Numerous data is sent to your mana sea.
“Uuwaa, it seems like the artifact’s consciousness is beginning to use all of the energy to nourish itself, it’s starting to become an adult now!”
“Anxie! Quick! Develop a firewall for the system in case the hive mind is trying to break it!”
In the middle of the chaos, the clone wafts forward to you. With only a meter from each other, the clone opens her arms.
A message is sent to your mana sea, the content is as follows: ‘Mama, hug me.’
“Eh?”
“Eh?”
“Eh?”
Still confused about what’s happening, you hug her as the clone begins to cuddle like a kid craving for affection.
After the warming hugging session, Ares blast off into the ever sky high. Accumulating tremendous power between her palms, she replicates your technique, Blood Sign: Plague Of Massacre. She lets off the ball of pure energy as it slowly flies up and multiplies every second into blue spears, combusting a high amount of jolts constantly.
When all of the spears faced the earth, it had already accumulated more than 1,000 spears ready to seek into the heart of impurities within this land.
All of the spears emit an audible sonic boom before blasting off, giving an unending massacre to the neverending horde of Calamities.
Even after half an hour, the carnage doesn’t end. Ares alone have killed over 3,000 of high rank Calamities.. As the spear becomes her soldier, the savage clone joins the battle with the others.
