Another Dimension Traveler - Volume 1 Chapter 106 106
(Leon POV)
Phyrra dives right near us just to evade the Death Stalker.
Yang: “Great, the gangs all here. Now we can die together.”
Ruby: “Not if I could help it.”
Ruby attack directly at the Death Stalker but the defense of it is very thick and her attack didn’t make a dent on its shell. Ruby runs away and Yang tries to save her. Then the Nevermore swoops it and shoots its deadly feathers at Ruby.
Leon: “Oh no you don’t. Judgement Cut.”
(AC: FYI Leon doesn’t need to say his skills or abilities. He say it because it felt good saying it.)
A giant purple orb appears above Ruby and slices all the feathers.
Leon: “Come on everybody. Attack!”
Everyone dash towards the Death Stalker. The Death Stalker tries to pierce Ruby with its tail but Weiss freeze the Death Stalker and protected Ruby. Weiss starts to ramble about Ruby’s disadvantages and her own self as well.
I took one of the chess piece on the temple.
Leon: “Alright, did you have the relics?”
Everyone nods and plans to go back. Their plan is to just ignore the creatures and go back to the cliff. We ran back but the Nevermore is chasing us. We try to hide from it but the Death Stalker appears out of nowhere.
Jaune: “RUN!”
Ren order Nora to distract the Nevermore. Again the Nevermore attack Nora by attacking with its feathers but I judgment cut the feathers.
Nora: “Thank you!”
Nora smiles and use her grenade launcher to distract the Nevermore. Everyone else protected Nora from the Death Stalker. The Death Stalker tries to piece someone with its tail but everyone dodge.
I laido stance and purple aura surrounds my body. I lock on the tail and grab the hilt of Yamato.
Leon: “Dimension Cut.”
The tail has been cut and the Death Stalker screams. It then lock on to me and tries to stab me with its pincer. I use Royal Guard to defend myself and it got stunned.
Jaune: “Everyone, it’s getting weaker. Let’s run for it.”
Everyone runs towards the bridge but even though the Death Stalker weakened, it persistently follows us. While on the bridge, the Nevermore bash its head right into us and the bridge got destroyed. Everyone evade but I latch on the Nevermore’s leg.
Leon: “YAHOOOOOOO! YEAH!”
The Nevermore shake its leg and tries to let me fall but I teleport onto its back and latch onto it. I slice its bone mask then the Nevermore screech loudly. I damage it but not a lot.
Leon: “Damn, you’re tough.”
Blake latch on into its wings attack the Nevemore’s face.
Leon: “Hello.”
I greet Blake while she’s in the air but she ignores me. She then slice the Nevermore’s wing but it was ineffective.
I then saw the RWBY group and we’re heading towards them very quickly. Many projectiles are coming right in front of me. I evade the projectiles but some of them hit the Nevermore.
Leon: Hey! Aren’t you guys forgetting someone?!”
I shouted but it seems they didn’t hear me. We hit the tower where the RWBY gang was standing and the tower collapse. I jump and landed one of the stone poles and then jump and landed on the bridge.
Leon: “You guys! You almost killed me back there.”
Ruby: “Sorry.”
Yang: “At least you survive. That counts.”
I shake my head.
Weiss: “None of this is working.”
Ruby: “I have a plan.”
Ruby looks at me and ask.
Ruby: “Leon, can you do that slashy thingy again when you cut Death Stalker earlier?”
Leon: “Yes but I have to charge it first, why?”
Ruby: “You keep charging that attack while we distract the Nevermore.”
Leon: “Alright. When I say now, lead that bird right at me. I’ll handle the rest.”
I nod and I do my Laido stance again. Purple aura appears my body again but this time, it was more intense. Everyone around me can feel the pressure. While I charge up my attack. Team RWBY attack the Nevermore. To be honest, I can easily deal the Death Stalker and Nevermore alone but the purpose of the initiation is teamwork and I don’t want them to rely on me all the time. Besides, I’ll leave this world eventually. So in the meantime, I’ll help them get stronger.
Leon: “Everyone, now!”
Everyone lead the Nevermore towards me. The Nevemore was now a few inches away from me.
Leon: “Judgement Cut End.”
I unsheathe Yamato from its scabbard and purple dome surrounds me and the Nevermore. Within the purple dome, time slows down and my body becomes a blur. Many white lines appear and surround the body of the Nevermore. Seconds later, I appear back to my original position and slowly re-sheathe Yamato. The Purple dome disappears and series of cuts and slices appear on the body of Nevermore and got dismembered. All of its limbs lands and then disappear.
Team JNPR manage to kill the Death Stalker. We meet each together and Ruby instantly hugs me.
Ruby: “That was amazing!”
Yang: “Yeah, way to go, Leon.”
Weiss: “I guess you’re not useless after all.”
I ignore Weiss comment.
Blake: “What was that skill you use, Leon?”
Leon: “You really want to know?”
Everyone lean on and lend an ear.
Leon: “It’s a secret.”
Ruby: “Oh come on!”
I laugh and then everyone joins in.
Leon: “But seriously. I just use my aura to enhance my speed and strength. Anyone can do it.”
Aura can enhance everybody’s capabilities. So it was pretty much not a secret. But what they didn’t know is that my aura is much different from theirs. Mine is very demonic.
Weiss: “Then what’s you semblance?”
Ruby: “Oh he can put things inside his space like a storage.”
Yang: “Space like storage? You mean an inventory like in a game.”
Jaune: “Exactly.”
Then Nora was very curious and ask a million questions per second. I answered every question she asked.
Phyrra: “So you can put non-living items inside your inventory. And materials inside your inventory never rot?”
Leon: “Pretty much.”
Yang: “So we have our own pack mule. You better be with me when I plan to go shopping in the future.”
Leon: [Roll Eyes] “Great.”
We rest about 5 minutes and Jaune said something.
Jaune: “Well, time for us to go back. I think I need medical treatment after this initiation.”
Everyone laugh and we head to the cliff and meet Ozpin and Glynda.
