(Leon POV)
We’re back at Beacon and Ozpin is on the stage announcing the new students and they’re new teammates. The teams are the same as the series. As usual, I can see Weiss is in disbelieve that Ozpin didn’t pick her as the leader.
The only difference is that I’ll be mission with Neo. Ozpin called me and Neo and we went to the stage. The crowds are murmuring and applaud about me that has only one teammate but we don’t really care.
After that event, many of the pupils are trying to talk to me and Neo. Asking us about being two people team and other things like what we do for a living, where we were born and what’s our semblance. Neo kept silent and smiles while I gave them vague answers and just left. We met up with the two groups and chatted a little bit.
Jaune: “Why don’t we go to the cafeteria and grab some lunch? I’m starving.”
Ruby eyeing on me and I can see her hungry eyes. I just summon my cookies from my inventory and gave it to her. Neo looks at me as well and summon some ice cream.
Yang: “Do have anything else on your inventory?”
Leon: “Wait till we’re in the cafeteria.”
We ate at the cafeteria and Yang kept stealing Ruby’s cookies. We chatted a little bit, except for Weiss whose being an ice queen again. I also talk with Phyrra and she wants to spar with me sometimes. Yang heard it and wants to spar as well. Nora keeps being well Nora and Ren silently eats the sandwich. His poker face was broken momentarily when he ate sandwich. Actually, everyone got an intense reaction when they ate my sandwiches.
Ruby: “See Yang. I told you that Leon is good cook.”
Ruby proudly stated like she did the cooking. Me and Neo just chuckle and everyone joins in as well. We gone to our bedroom and me and Neo have our own personal room. It was little compare to the other rooms but I like small space. I went to bed and look at the ceiling. Neo did the same but she move the bed beside mine and she hug my arm.
Leon: ‘It seems that my magic concealment is working nicely. Salem didn’t even notice about my magic and demonic energy. The lesser she knows the better. But even she knows, it doesn’t change much. Both Ozpin and Salem are a scheming bunch. They let their minions do their work.’
I heard a knock on my door. I get up and opens it.
Ozpin: “Good evening, Leon.”
Leon: “Oh Ozpin, come in.”
Ozpin found a sit and I just sat on the bed. Neo was sitting next to me.
Leon: “What do I owe the pleasure of meeting you here in my humble abode?”
Ozpin: “Well, nothing much. I just want to talk about something.”
Leon: “Oh and that is?”
Ozpin: “About the future of Beacon.”
He look serious but I just pick nose with my pinky finger. Ozpin right eyebrow twitch and cough a little. I nod to Neo and she nods back. She left the room.
Ozpin: “You seem very knowledgeable about mostly everything. I was wondering if you have any knowledge of what will happen to Beacon in the near future.”
Leon: “I have but I have a question as well? What happen to Lionheart?”
Ozpin: “Qrow is on his way to Haven Academy to check up on him to confirm your accusation towards him.”
Leon: “Better tell Qrow to go there quickly. I believe some Huntsmen and Huntresses that his handling at Haven Academy are already dead by the hands of Salem.”
Ozpin looks serious and grim when he heard that.
I use [Knowledge] to check up on the Huntsmen and the Huntresses and yup, many of them are already dead. Lionheart already betrayed Ozpin a long time ago.
Ozpin: “It’s seems unnatural that Lionheart would do such a thing.”
Leon: “You’re over 80 years old. Don’t tell me you never experience betrayal in those 80 years?”
Ozpin clench his fist but he kept his cool.
Leon: “About Beacon. Something big will happen in the near future. But don’t worry. Focus on training the students while I handle the big one in the future. You did see me killing those Grimms in the forest, didn’t you?”
Ozpin calms down and sip his coffee. Where that coffee come from?
Ozpin: “Yes, I have. I confess you’re very powerful at a young age.”
I grin.
Leon: “Do you believe that’s not my final form?”
Ozpin’s coffee mug shakes a little and looks at my smiling face.
Leon: “Would you like an example?”
I was about to unleash my demonic form but Ozpin stops me.
Ozpin: “Alright. I believe you.”
Leon: “Aww you’re no fun.”
Ozpin ignores my whining. He then talks about me training with the other students and I told them I’ll be training/sparring with them whenever I get the chance.
Ozpin: “Why don’t you become a teacher? There’s lots of opportunity if you take the teaching position.”
Leon: “Love the offer but I don’t want to. I’ll just spar and teach them whenever I’m free or someone ask me to spar them. That way, I don’t feel obligated.”
Ozpin nods and left the room. Neo came back and we went to bed and fell asleep.
In the morning, I heard drilling in the next room and me and Neo woke up. We put on our uniform and went outside.
Leon: “You gone ahead. I’ll catch up with you later.”
Neo: “Alright.”
She kiss me on the face cheek and skips away. I knock on the door and Ruby opens it.
Ruby: “Oh morning Leon. What’s up?”
Leon: “I heard drilling from this room. What’s going on?”
Ruby: Oh we were just decorating our room. Wanna look?”
Leon: “Sure.”
I look inside and see the decorated room and 2 bunk beds. I saw Ruby’s bed dangling on top of another bed.
Leon: “That’s a little unsafe. Don’t you think?”
Weiss: “Tell me about it.”
Yang: “Aww don’t you want a little danger in your life?”
Weiss grunted and Blake just looks around their room.
Leon: “It’s a little cramp, why don’t I give it a little space.”
I snap my fingers and use an extension charm. Then the room became wider.
Leon: “Now you have more room to place your other stuffs.”
Then I look at the four girls who has disbelieve expression. Ruby rubs her eyes and then look at me with stars in her eyes.
Ruby: “How did you that?!”
Leon: “Oh I forgot to mention. I can do magic.”
I raise my and conjure a fireball.
Ruby: “COOL!”
I extinguish the flame. The four girls were about to ask a million questions but I question first.
Leon: “You do realize it’s about 5 minutes until 9 and the classes starts about 9 o clock.”
Weiss: “What?! Then, what are we waiting for?!”
Weiss zooms out of the room leaving us behind.
Blake: “We’ll be asking about your magic later. See you later, Leon.”
Leon: “See ya.” ‘Wow this is the first time Blake actually talk to me properly. Maybe she’s really interested learning about magic.’
Everyone runs out of the room and heads for our first class.
