(Leon POV)

We manage to attend our first class without being late. We all listen to Professor Peter Port talking about the Grimms and its history. He makes a joke about something but it was a fail attempt. I wasn’t listening much because I already knew about the Grimm and the truth so I was just bored. So I just read some novels, using my abilities, while waiting for the class to end. I continue reading “The Legendary Mechanic” by Qi Peijia and it’s pretty awesome to read. I can’t believe I read 939 chapters of it. Do I plan to go there in the future? Nah, probably not. But I’m tempted to go there though.

I saw Weiss raised her hand about something and I ask someone beside me what happened. Professor Port talks about being a true huntsman and Weiss wants to prove that she’s a true huntress. I rub my chin and observe Weiss.

Weiss stood on the middle of the stage facing the caged Grimm. Team RWBY give Weiss encouragement but Weiss reprimand Ruby for giving her some hints. Professor Port freed the Grimm that what looks like a boar and dash toward Weiss. Weiss attacks it but the defense of it was too dense. She tried to pierce it with her Rapier sword but the boar defend it and the rapier got stuck on the boar’s tusk.

Ruby cheers for Weiss but Weiss got annoyed and lost her weapon. The boar hit her hard and she landed on the ground hard. She then dodge the boar’s follow-up attack and she run towards her weapon. Ruby gives Weiss advice but Weiss got angry and complains to Ruby.

She stop the boar and follow Ruby’s advice. She eventually killed it. Professor Port praise Weiss’s effort and the class dismissed. Neo told that she’ll roams around the school. While I was alone walking through the hall, I heard someone shouting. I walk towards the noise and around the corner, I saw Ruby and Weiss arguing about something. I kept listening and get the gist of it. It seems that Weiss wasn’t satisfied of Ozpin’s choice for making Ruby the leader. I appear to the two and they look at me.

Weiss: “What do you want?”

Leon: “Did Ozpin really made a mistake to make Ruby a leader?”

Weiss: “Don’t you know eavesdropping is considered a crime?”

Leon: “Well I’m not really eavesdropping if everyone can hear you two shouting within the hallways.”

Weiss humph and tries to walk away.

Leon: “There’s a reason you know.”

Weiss stops and looks at me.

Weiss: “What?”

Leon: “There’s a reason why you didn’t become the leader.”

Ruby looks at me and ask.

Ruby: “And that is?”

Leon: “Learning.”

Ruby and Weiss tilt their heads.

Leon: “Weiss, I can see that you’ve been educated well and you’ve been trained and fought a lot. I’m sure you have the ability to become the leader but because of that, you lack compassion towards other people.”

I pat Ruby’s head and she look at me directly.

Leon: “Beacon’s purpose is to guide people to the right path. Ruby here needs to learn become a leader and you need to learn how to become a good companion.”

Weiss looks at me and grunted.

Leon: “It’s unfair, isn’t it? You, who have the capabilities to become a leader but Ruby, who has no idea about leadership, becomes a leader? That’s the reality of it. Life is unfair. The only have to do is change yourself. Ruby here tries her best to change for the better. Even though sometimes she’s a little bit goofy and carefree.”

Ruby: “Hey!”

I smile and pinch her face cheek.

Leon: “She’s willing to learn to become a good leader. What about you? Are you willing to change and learn to become a good companion not just to Ruby but Yang and Blake as well? You must learn that not everything you desire will happen. Be the best not becoming a leader but becoming the person that you want to be.”

Weiss contemplates and tries to answer but she just grunted and left. Ruby watch Weiss walks away and she let her head down.

Leon: “Don’t worry, Weiss will think about it a lot.”

Ruby: “It’s hard to be a leader.”

Leon: “Everything is hard but as long as your friends are with you, it wouldn’t be too bad.”

Ruby looks at me and shows me her bright smile.

Ruby: “Thank you.”

I nod.

Ruby: “By the way.”

I roll my eyes and summon a cookie. She squealed in delight. Ruby walks away while munching her cookie.

Leon: “I can sense you, you know.”

Ozpin: “I know.”

I look behind and Ozpin just standing there sipping his coffee.

Leon: “You do realize coffee, other a boost of energy, can give you the jitters you know.”

Ozpin ignores my comment and continue sips his coffee.

Ozpin: “I should thank you for helping them both. Ms. Schnee is very prideful individual and that’s a problem to her teammates. Ruby has lack of leadership and she needs to learn to improve her leadership skills.”

Leon: “Well go on. Say it.”

Ozpin: “About what?”

Leon: “Say ‘thank you’. You said you should thank me, so say it.”

Ozpin shake his head and exasperated.

Ozpin: “Why can’t we just have a normal conversation for once?”

Leon: “We’re technically not normal people but I guess it wouldn’t hurt to just talk normally.”

We chatted a little bit more until night came in. I was in my dorm room and Neo was already asleep. Someone knocks on my door.

Leon: “Coming!”

I open the door and I saw Weiss.

Leon: “Oh what’s up?”

Weiss pause for a second then talk to me about something.

Weiss: “I’ve been thinking a lot and you’re right. I’ve been a little arrogant and maybe I don’t have a good attitude towards other people. So thank you.”

Leon: “Oh ah you’re welcome. Have you and Ruby apologize to one another?”

Wiess: “Not yet. Well night.”

She then leaves and went inside her room. I shrug and close the door. I teleported back to Hogwarts and chatted with my wives. I also told them what happened. Everyone was grinning like crazy when I talk about Ruby and the others, especially Neo. I told them that me and Neo are a thing now and I ignore their grin. They wouldn’t mind. They only ask when they’ll ever meet her. I told them soon. I also ask them what they are up to these days but they look at me with deadpanned expression.

Leon: “What?”

Hermione: “Did you forget that you left like just a minute ago?”

Leon: “Oh right.”

The girls started laughing and we just flirt each other.

I go back to bedroom in RWBY world and went to bed. I continue reading some novels and watch youtube videos until I fell asleep.
