Meanwhile in at Evernight castle.
Tyrian: “My Queen there’s something I have to report.”
Tyrian Callows. A serial killer and one of the servants of Salem.
Salem: “What is it?”
Tyrian: “My queen, Lionheart has been captured by our enemies. It seems they found out that one his pawns has been betrayed them and has taken custody.”
Salem: “It doesn’t matter. He has little use and it doesn’t affect our grand plan. Is there any else would you like to report?”
Tyrian: “Nothing, my queen.”
Arthur: “My queen, I would like to report as well.”
Arthur Watts. Former scientist from Atlast and one of the Salem’s servants.
Arthur: “Few days ago, I was looking at the security cameras on Roman Torchwick progress. He was about to steal many crates full of dusts with the White Fang members. Unfortunately, he failed because of several individuals.”
Salem: “And these individuals?”
Arthur: “Here’s what I found.”
Arthur summons a blue screen and plays the video. They see 6 individuals fighting against Torchwick and the White Fang.
Arthur: “What caught my eyes are these 3 individuals.”
Arthur zooms in and focus on Leon, Neo and Weiss. They saw Neo and Weiss summons 2 different Nevermores and Leon destroying one of airsh.i.p.s all by himself.
Salem: “Interesting. Order Cinder to monitor those group. Especially that individual named Leon.”
Arthur: “As you command.”
Salem: “Dismissed.”
(Leon POV)
Back to Beacon.
Leon: “What do you mean I can’t participate in the tournament?”
Ozpin: “I’m sorry but only teams can participate in the tournament and you and Neo aren’t exactly ‘teams’.”
Leon: “Aw man, I was so looking forward to kick our opponent’s ass.”
Ozpin: “Mind you language Mr. Parker.”
Leon: “I’m much older than you think.”
Ozpin: “Can’t be older than me.”
Leon: “How about more than a thousand years old.”
(AC: Remember the fight between Alastor and Leon. Yeah, it was more than a thousand years that they fought.)
Ozpin stunned when he heard that. Ozpin or Ozma is about 80 years old. So I’m much more ancient than him.
Ozpin: “In any case, because you lack 2 more people and the fact you’re involved in the pier dust robbery, you can’t participate in the tournament.”
Leon: [Sigh]. “Oh well. Can’t be helped then. Oh hey, any updates if I can see the fall maiden?”
Ozpin: “They’re willing to let you see until my associates arrives. In the meantime, you must wait until then.”
Leon: “Alright. Now may I ask, what happened to Lionheart?”
Ozpin: [Sigh]. “We found out that dozens of Huntsmen and Huntresses, led by Lionheart, have been killed by her for many years. If it wasn’t for your information, more innocent lives will be lost. He’s now transported to Atlas to be interrogated.”
Leon: [Sigh]. “I think he doesn’t have any information of her. Based on his attitude, he just follows orders and that’s it. No questions ask.”
Ozpin sighs again. I was about to teleport away but Ozpin stops me.
Ozpin: “Please use the door when you go out.”
I pouted and then shrug. I went outside and bump into Velvet.
Leon: “Oh hey Velvet. How are you?”
Velvet: [Blush] “Oh umm I’m fine. Thank you.”
Velvet walks away embarrass. I call out to her.
Leon: “Would you like to eat with us sometime?”
Velvet stops and looks at me. She shyly nods and walks away.
The rest of the day wasn’t too boring. Still listening to classes. Everybody is getting used to they’re new abilities and I helped Phyrra to train Jaune. He’s mastery in Sword and Shield is going smoothly. I helped him healed up so that Phyrra will keep training him to the bone. Jaune was miserable about the training but me and Phyrra ignore his wailing.
I ask Neo to conjure a mirror version of themselves and fought one another. The mirror version has the same skills and abilities of the original so it took a while to defeat it. This could them help further improve themselves and see their weaknesses.
Next day, dozens of airsh.i.p.s arrive at Beacon. Me and Neo were eating some ice cream and watch the airsh.i.p.s arrive.
Neo: “Are those from Atlas?”
Leon: “Yup.”
Neo: “What are they here for?”
Leon: “Probably for the Vytal Festival.”
Neo: “That’s a lot of airsh.i.p.s just for the festival.”
Leon: “Well the leader at Atlas is a very cautious man. Well who can blame him? You do know who are we up against?”
I already told her about Salem. At first she was surprise about Salem but she doesn’t really care about it. She only cares about me. Plus she knows that I can teleport us to another world she wasn’t too worried about it.
Neo: “Who would you think is more powerful? You or Salem?”
I put my hand under my chin. In terms of magic, I think we’re equal because she has two divinities inside of her but in terms of fighting, I’m better.
Leon: “What do you think?”
Neo does a thinking pose and then points her finger at me.
Neo: “You.”
Leon: “Oh? And how so?”
Neo: “Just a gut feeling. Besides, you already come up a plan to defeat her. Am I right?”
I kiss her forehead and chuckle.
Leon: “You know me too well.”
Late at night, we’re at the hallway. Ruby bump me again and I grab her waist before she falls down.
Ruby: “Oh umm Leon. Thanks.”
Leon: “What’s the rush? Did you forget something?”
Ruby: “Yeah, I forgot my board game at the library.”
Leon: “Oh I see but I think the library is close. Why not tomorrow?”
Ruby: “Oh man. Alright. Oh hey Leon and Neo. Have you seen the new students?”
Leon: “No, why?”
Neo shakes her head.
Ruby: “They’re from Haven and they’re visiting Beacon. One was a guy who has dark silver hair and there are also two girls with him. One has a short green hair and the other has long black hair.”
Leon: “You didn’t ask their names.”
Ruby: “I kind of forgot.”
Neo and me chuckle a little.
Leon: “What else?”
Ruby: “Nothing in particular really but the black hair girly one was very familiar. I just don’t know where.”
It was probably Cinder. The dark silver haired and the short green hair is probably Mercury and Emerald.
Leon: “Ask their names next time.”
Ruby: “Yeah.”
We walk towards our dorm room and before I went inside, I told Ruby something.
Leon: “Hey Ruby, be careful.”
Ruby: “Wha?”
I didn’t reply and went inside my dorm room with Neo.
