(Leon POV)

Ruby: “Leon, when can we train about my eyes?”

Leon: “How about after school? Are you free at that time?”

Ruby: “I’ll check my schedule. Yup. I’m free.”

3 days after the incident, we went back to Beacon. We rest and went back to our classes. We’re at the training ground where Phyrra is up against team CRDL. This is one of the best fight scenes in the series. I can feel Phyrra’s competitive aura from here on the stand. After 5 minutes, Phyrra brutally defeated Cardin and his team.

Glynda: Well done Miss Nikos. You should have no problem qualifying for the tournament.”

Phyrra: “Thank you professor.”

Glynda: “We have one more round. Who’s up next?”

Leon: “I would.”

I raise my hand and everyone looks at me. Ms. Glynda fixes her glances and nods at me.

Leon: “And I would like to challenge Phyrra Nikos”

Glynda: “Miss Nikos just finish her match. I recommend to choose someone else.”

Phyrra: “No it’s fine. I wanna challenge Leon as well.”

Glynda: “Alright.”

I jump and land on the stage and re-equip Beowulf but this time, I also summon Yamato.

Phyrra: “This is the first time we see you using both of your weapons.”

Leon: “Well, it will be insulting if I just use one weapon. Besides, I’m not used to using both weapons at the same time. It will be a good training for you and me.”

Phyrra smiles and nods.

Phyrra: “I’m looking forward to our fight.”

Leon: [Smile] “Same.”

We make our stances and moments later, we simultaneously dash towards each other. I go for a right punch and Phyrra use her shield to parry my punch. Then she use horizontal slash using her sword but I use my left hand to block it. We’re in a stand still for a second then Phyrra uses her shield bash to my chest but I stood my ground and the ground crack. I didn’t move an inch. Then I punch her shield and she got pushed by 5 meters. I unsheathe Yamato and I ran towards her. She change her sword into gun mode and launch projectiles at me but I slice them all. I downward slash at her and her shield to redirect it. Then she change her gun into spear mode and tries to stab me with it but I dodge them. I grab the body of the spear and pull her onto me. I was about to uppercut her but she use her shield to protect herself and she launch herself in the air. She throws her shield at me but I kick it back at her. The moment the shield touch her, she use her semblance and spins her body with the shield to redirect the shield back at me. I backflip and dodge the shield. It imbued the floor. Phyrra lands gracefully and dash towards me. While running, she took her shield and change her spear into sword mode. She use vertical slash but I parry it using Yamato. Our swords clash again and it was so fast, only sparks can be seen during the fight. Then I sped up my slashes and Phyrra was having a hard time to keep up the pace. In the next moment, we heard the last clash and Phyrra’s sword spins in air and stabs the ground. The tip of Yamato was a few inches from Phyrra’s neck.

Phyrra smiles and raise her both of her hands, signaling defeat.

Phyrra: “I lost.”

Leon: “But it was fun, wasn’t it?”

Phyrra: “Yeah but that wasn’t your full power, was it?

I just smiles and re-sheathe Yamato and then I return both Beowulf and Yamato in my inventory.

Phyrra: “It’s a shame that you won’t be competing the tournament.”

Leon: “Yeah. I’ll just support you guys from the distance.”

Glynda: “Well that was intense match. So the victor for today is none other than Leon Parker.”

I saw Mercury and Emerald at the stand looking at me and Phyrra. When we got outside, I met Neo but she’s not alone. I also see Cinder with her.

Leon: “Hi Neo and you are?”

Neo goes behind me and looks at Cinder warily.

Cinder: “The names Cinder. I was just chatting with this girl but no matter hard I try, she wouldn’t even try to talk to me.”

Why does she talk so seductively? Cinder offers a handshake.

Leon: “Names Leon and this is my girlfriend Neopolitan.”

I accepted the handshake and I use my magic eyes. I can see the magic flowing out of her.

Leon: “So how can I help you, Cinder?”

Cinder: “Oh nothing. I was just making friends, that’s all. You and Miss Nikkos are pretty good back there.”

Leon: “Oh? I didn’t know you were watching.”

Cinder: [Smiles seductively]. “Well time for me to go. See you around Leon.”

She then walks away like a runway model. I won’t be needing my [Knowledge] to know that I’m now in Salem’s radar and she use Cinder to monitor me. Well, she can continue monitoring me. It doesn’t really affect me. I rub Neo’s head to calm her down and give her a bucket of ice cream. She squeals and took the bucket out of my hands.

I see Ruby and her team at the distance and I ask her about her training about her eyes.

Ruby: “Can we reschedule? I’m worried about Blake.”

Leon: “What’s wrong with her?”

She points her finger to where Blake is and see her talking with Sun. Sun ask Blake to the dance this weekend but Blake brutally declined. I can see that there are dark bags under her eyes.

Leon: “Ouch, Poor Sun. What’s wrong with her?”

Ruby: “I think it’s about the robberies and the White Fang. She hasn’t been eating and sleeping properly these days.”

Leon: “Sheesh that’s rough. Here, give this to her.”

I summon a potion.

Ruby: “What’s this?”

Leon: “A rejuvenate potion. It can restores the person’s condition in tip top shape. Blake’s hunger and sleepiness will disappear once she drink this. Plus, its apple flavored.”

Ruby: “This is amazing.”

Leon: “Just don’t tell anyone about this, alright? It will be annoying if someone discovers this and ask a lot of this.”

Ruby: “I won’t, thank you.”

Ruby dash towards her team and left me and Neo alone.

I look at Neo and ask her something.

Leon: “Would you like to the dance with me?”

Neo smiles and kiss me on the face cheek.

Neo: “Do you even have to ask?” [Giggle].

I chuckle and gave her a peck on the lips. Neptune and Jaune saw me kissing with my girlfriend and grind their teeth because of jealousy.
