Another Dimension Traveler - Volume 1 Chapter 128 128

(Leon POV)

It was night time. Me and the group are just lying beside the makeshift fire. Neo cuddles beside me. I didn’t let her inside my shadow because Dr. Oobleck will ask where she has gone and the other girls would be jealous.

Oobleck: “Alright. Who’ll be the first watch?”

I raise my hand.

Leon: “I’ll do it.”

Neo pulled my hand and makes a sad puppy expression. I pat her head and kiss her forehead.

Yang: “Get a room you two.”

Yang giggled and just chuckle.

Oobleck: “Please restrain yourselves in s.e.x.u.a.l contact. We’re in dangerous territory. Please focus on the situation.”

I nod and look at Neo.

Leon: “I’m just a lookout. You need to rest and restore your energy.”

Neo nod and reluctantly let me hand go. I jump to the highest tower to get a better view. I see lots of Grimms roaming around from a distance. They are searching for something. I keep watching and waiting until someone took over. I lay down with Neo and she just immediately cuddles me. I cuddle her back and we went to sleep together.

Hours later, my super hearing heard a scream. This startled me. I woke up and look around. Yang was at the lookout and everyone else was asleep but I don’t see Ruby anywhere.

Leon: “Hey Yang, where’s Ruby?”

Yang looks around and didn’t see her sister. She wake everyone up and after few seconds of questioning, Zwei appears and ran towards us.

Oobleck: “Grab your weapons, I think Ruby is in danger.”

We pack our things and Zwei lead us to Ruby’s scythe and a giant hole. Dr. Oobleck then have an epiphany. He theorize that there’s an underground den in the deep cages. He also told us about the underground village where people took shelter but an explosion happened and many died. That’s one of reason why this place is deserted. I pick up Ruby’s scythe and put it in inventory.

Leon: “What are we waiting for? Let’s go.”

We all jump down the hole and landed safely. We saw White Fang members aiming their weapons at us. I re-equip Beowulf and me and Blake dash towards them. Yang fires her projectiles at them. We all knock them all out.

Yang: “Where’s Ruby?”

Leon: “Neo, get to the top of the building and find Ruby”

Neo nods and jump towards on top of the building. She scan the area and see Ruby running away from Torchwick.

Neo: “Over there.”

Neo shouted and everyone look where she’s pointing at. We dash towards the center of the village and we saw Ruby from the distance. Yang dash toward Ruby and gave her a hug.

Yang: “Ruby! Are you okay?”

Ruby: “I’m fine. I’m fine.”

Then Ruby told on what she discovered. There’s a lot of weapons and robots underground. Android and mechs are loaded up on the train carts.

Oobleck: “That’s ridiculous. These tunnels are sealed and the tracks leads to dead end.”

But later, Torchwick announce that they’re leaving immediately and the train starts to leave.

Yang: “Well they’re going somewhere.”

Leon: “No time to argue. We need to stop that train.”

I gave Ruby her scythe and said thanks. We dash towards the train and Ruby tries to call for back up but there’s no signal. Ruby use her semblance and Neo created Beowolves. Everyone jumps and hop on the Beowolves. When we catch up to the train, we jump and landed on the train. The Beowolves vanish and Dr. Oobleck knock out one of the guards.

Oobleck: “Alright children, we need to get in front and stop the train.”

Weiss discovers a bomb and everyone got startled. Neo nudge me and told me to put the bomb in my inventory.

Leon: “Great idea.”

I crouch down and touch the bomb. It then disappears.

Oobleck: “Now that’s taken care of, now we-”

Ruby: “Baddies incoming.”

Everyone prepares to fight until Yang discovers another bomb. Oobleck checks all the chart and discovers that every chart has a bomb.

Oobleck: “Leon, take care of the bombs. Everyone else, take care of the White Fang members.”

Seconds later, one of the charts detach themselves. Everyone jump and landed to another chart. Everyone attack the guards while I search the bombs. So far, everything is going smoothly.

Oobleck examines everything and still don’t know why their putting bombs on the chart. While everyone is busy fighting, I use [Knowledge] to locate all the bombs and transfer them to my inventory.

Leon: “All the bombs are now in my inventory. What now?”

Oobleck: “Continue heading towards the head of the train. We need to stop the train.”

We ran towards the front until the mechs blocking our path. Dr. Oobleck and Zwei destroyed one of the mechs and I dash towards one of the mechs. My hands glows purple and punch directly at the head of the mech. It was destroyed completely. We manage to defeat many of the mechs until we heard a flute playing. Now we see lots of mechs aiming towards us.

Leon: “Dodge!”

Everyone dodge and I tried to punch one of the projectiles but it phase through me. Then I got hit by an invisible projectile. Even my friends got hit by the invisible projectiles.

Neo created lots of crows and attack the mechs but some of the crows phase through the mechs until one of the crows hit something. Elise appears and the mechs disappear.

Neo: “You go on without me. I’ll be dealing with her.”

Everyone nods.

Leon: “Good luck.”

I gave her mana potion and she smiles. She drinks it and her mana is at peak. Elise tries to play her flute again but Ruby and Blake shot her. Elise evades the shots and this gives us time to dash through her. Once again Elise tries to play again but Neo won’t let her and the summoned crows attack Elise. Now, she focus on Neo while we ran towards the head of the train. We went inside one of the charts and head through it. While running another member of the White Fang block us.

Yang: “Everybody, me and Weiss will handle him.”

Weiss look at her and nods. I ran towards him kick him in the gut but he block it using his chainsaw. Ruby tries to vertical slash him but he evades. We went through while the White Fang with the chainsaw was distracted by Yang and Weiss.

We arrive at the head of the train and we saw Torchwick standing and waiting and smiling smugly at us.

Torchwick: “Miss me?”
