(Leon POV)

I let go the pincer and Tyrian jumps back and look at me with his crazy smile.

Tyrian: “Hello there. Fancy meeting you here.”

I put Ruby in my shadow and let her sleep in that realm. The background is still the forest and Ruby just sleeping on the flowers.

Tyrian: “Nice trick there. Where’d she go?”

Leon: “Beats me. Now why would a serial killer doing in the forest?”

I scan the surroundings and saw an orb like Grimm from a distance. Salem must have send Tyrian to Ruby or me and monitor us using the seer. They must have saw Ruby using her silver eyes.

Tyrian: “Hahahaha. I just want to talk.”

Leon: “Talk? With our fists or our mouth?”

We both grin at each other. Yup. It’s official. I’m a battle maniac. Thanks radio demon.

We dash towards each other and Tyrian use his tail. I duck down and target his stomach. He jump and dodge my punch. He tried to kick my face using his left leg but I block it with my right arm. He use his tail to wrap around my arm to change his body direction and use his pincer to slice my right thigh. I raise my right leg and block the attack. While he was stunned, I grab his tail and was about to slam on the ground but he focus his gun at my face and starts firing at right at me. But my aura protected me and the bullets bounce off. I slam on the ground and ground makes a crater size of him.

Leon: “My aura is stronger than you think.”

I was gonna stomp his stomach but he rolls away and re-adjust himself.

Tyrian: “You’re a tough cookie aren’t you?”

I dash towards him and tried to punch him but he keeps evading. He attack I evade and block, he also does the same. Whenever I attack, he either, blocks, evades, or jumps away and kept distance from me.

Leon: “For a serial killer, you move pretty well. Why don’t you compete at the Olympics? I’m sure you’ll win the gold medal, if you’re still alive.”

Tyrian: “Hahahaha. What makes you think that you can kill me?”

Leon: “I’m not arrogant, it’s just facts. Also, Hazel come out. I know you’re there. Show yourself or I would make you show yourself.”

Hazel came out and looks at me and Tyrian.

Hazel: “I wasn’t gonna participate.”

Leon: “And where’s the fun in that?”

Tyrian: “I’m very much interested in you now. Shame you have to die today.”

Leon: “Ew. I’m straight you know. Find someone else.”

Tyrian laughs and then both Tyrian and Hazel dash towards me. Tyrian rain bullets at me while Hazel and I clash each other using our fist. Tyrian goes to my behind but I back kick him but I miss and Tyrian use his tail to stab my back. Me and Hazel evade the tail. I stomp the ground and make a mini earthquake. Hazel and Tryian was stunned and I grab Hazel’s arm and throw him towards Tyrian. Tyrian jumps and disregard Hazel. He dash towards me and we clash again. He’s very nimble for a serial killer. I notice the seer was behind Tyrian. I jump back and grab a pebble. I throw the pebble towards Tyrian and he evades but the pebble hit the seer and it vanish.

Tyrian: “Did you just do what I think you just did?”

Leon: “Who knows? Now, play time is over.”

I summon something from my inventory and throw it to Tyrian. He was confuse and catch the thing. He look at it and fell into a daze. Yup, he mind is now trap in the Hourglass of Penance. 100,000 years will he be killed by his own image and be tortured like what he did to his victims. After the punishment, he started screaming. I knock him out.

I saw Hazel was about to attack me but stop when he sees Tyrian collapse.

Hazel: “What did you just do?”

Leon: “You don’t want to know. Do you want to continue?”

Hazel: [Sighs]. “Do I have a choice?”

Leon: “It’s either fighting or”

Makes a dramatic pause.

Leon: “Or do you want to talk with your twin sister?”

(3rd POV)

At Evernight Castle. Salem was watching Tyrian and Hazel fight against Leon. She was not happy when Leon destroyed her seer.

Salem: “This Parker’s strength is very impressive. It seems he can handle those two without effort.”

Salem believes that Leon is not what he seems and his hiding his true strength.

Salem: “It’s unfortunate that my two pawns are now gone but it doesn’t matter. There are lot people who has desires. It will be easy to recruit another.”

After few hours of contemplating, her seer show a face and she was surprise when she recognize the face.

Salem: “I’m surprise you’ve survive Hazel.”

Hazel looks defeated. Blood covers right side of his face and has a black eye on his left. He also has a broken nose.

Hazel: “I’m sorry my queen. I failed.”

Salem was expressionless. She already knew the risk.

Salem: “And Tyrian?”

Hazel: “He was captured by him. He defeated him by sheer power and he left me alive to give you a message.”

Salem: “A message for me?”

Did Ozma told him about me?

Hazel: “Yes, my queen.”

Salem: “What did he tell you?”

Hazel: “He said: ‘You’re next’.”

Salem wasn’t faze by the threat. She witness many years seeing others who has the same arrogant behavior but none achieved. Salem looks at Hazel on the orb.

Hazel: “Heal yourself. Continue monitor Leon from a distance and cooperate with Cinder. She reported me previously that she’ll be doing something at the city during the tournament. Don’t reveal yourself to him until an opportunity arrives.”

Hazel: “By your will.”

Salem contemplates. Leon Parker already know her existence but that doesn’t faze her one bit. Besides, she’s immortal. Nobody in this world can kill her.

(Leon POV)

Back to the forest. Hazel destroyed the seer and sighs.

Hazel: “It’s done.”

Leon: “Good.”

Hazel was badly beaten not because we fought each other. It’s more of a punishment. Previously, after I summon Hazel’s sister, Gretchen Rainart, Hazel was surprise and was disbelief. His hand was shaking and tried to touch her but it was faze through her. Gretchen opens her eyes and look at Hazel. She smiles and then the first thing she said to him was this.

Gretchen: “YOU MORON!”

Me and Hazel flinch and surprise by the sudden outburst. Gretchen starts to reprimand Hazel for all the things that he has done.

Gretchen: “I TOLD YOU THAT I WANT TO BE A HUNTRESS! I ALREADY KNEW THE DANGER OF BEING ONE. NOW THAT I’M DEAD, NOT ONLY DID YOU NOT VISIT MY GRAVE, YOU EVEN SIDED HER. THE ONE I WAS FIGHTING AGAINST IN THE FIRST PLACE! WHEN WILL YOU STOP TREATING ME LIKE A CHILD!”

His sister was fuming in anger. Hazel tried to defend himself but no sound came out from Hazel’s mouth. Gretchen demanded me to beat the sh*t right out of him but don’t kill him. I did what she demanded and Hazel didn’t retaliate because her sister was glaring at him. After the beat down, Gretchen was satisfied and but still mad at her brother.

Hazel: “Gretchen, I’m sorry. I was furious of what Ozpin did to you. I was blinded by rage that all I think of was to kill the one who killed you.”

Gretchen: “And now many innocent lives are dead thanks to you and your so called queen. To repent your mistakes, I want you to follow this guy’s order. He’s your boss now.”

Leon & Hazel: “Wait what now?”

Gretchen: “You heard me.”

Gretchen floats towards me and she ask me if there some way to give her brother a hug. I nod and turn Hazel into his astral form. Gretchen floats towards him and give him a hug. Hazel was surprise but then wrap his arms around his sister’s waist and hug her back.

Hazel: “I miss you, Gretchen.”

Gretchen: “I miss you too, Hazel. Try to be good from now on okay? And visit my grave for once.”

Hazel: “Okay.”

I pick up the unconscious serial killer and Hazel goes back to his body.

Leon: “Continue working with Salem and her pawns. I’ll give you the signal if we’re about to move.”

Hazel nods. Tried to move his body but can’t seem to move. Hazel has a semblance called numbing agents. Basically, he can’t feel pain. The drawback is that he can still be injured. I healed him and we went our ways. I gave Tyrian to Ironwood and he will handling the unconscious serial killer. He will be in prison for the rest of his life and will be place in high security cell. He will have no chance to escape.
