(Leon POV)
It’s been months since the last battle. Everything is going smoothly. Hazel and Amber both working with me at one of my cafs and their pretty ok working with each other. Hazel still being serious but a lot vitality this days. Amber on the other hand was going on with her days working with her peaceful life. Sometimes she gets lazy and Hazel felt tired when she sees Amber being lazy during work. But at least their doing their work just fine. I also notice Amber looking at Hazel differently. I always looks at her with a smug smile. She caught me smiling and her face turns red.
Amber: “What are you looking at?”
Leon: “Nothing.”
Amber: “Nothing your ass, leave me alone. I’m trying to work here.”
Leon: “Which one, being lazy or looking at Hazel’s ass?”
She gave me a glare and I left immediately.
Leon: ‘I wonder what Salem and her pawns are doing. I think Watts it’s the only one of her pawns.’
I use my search engine and check out what’s happening. I can see Salem created an army of Grimms and there’s a lot of them. Different types of Grimms, giants and many more. The army took off and she walks back to her castle and waits while ordering Watts to infiltrate Atlas and weaken Atlas defenses. Based on their speed, I say they will be arriving at Vale in 2 days. There’s also an army towards Atlas as well and will be arriving about 5 days.
Leon: “Holy shit!”
I ran towards beacon and immediately went to the elevator. I arrive at Ozpin’s office and I saw Ozpin, Glynda, Qrow and Ironwood looking grim.
Leon: “Bad news. Salem’s army are heading towards beacon and there’s a lot of them.”
Qrow: “We know kid. I just reported them. Her army will be arriving about 2 days or so.”
Leon: “Did you also reported that her other army will also invade Atlas and Arthur Watts will weaken Atlas’s defenses?”
Ironwood: “WHAT?! Where did you get that information?”
Leon: “It doesn’t matter where I get the information. The important thing is that Vale will be invaded by Grimm in 2 days and Atlas will be in 5 days.”
Ironwood looks at Ozpin.
Ironwood: “Ozpin, I need to get back at Atlas.”
Qrow: “And leave us here?!”
Ironwood: “This is no time for debate, Qrow. Atlas needs me.”
Qrow: “What about Vale? You’re just gonna leave us here and Vale fall? Is that how this is?”
Glynda: “Qrow. That’s enough.”
Qrow: “Oh you’re taking his side then, huh.”
Leon: “Alright that’s enough. Arguing each other won’t make the problem disappear.”
Ozpin: “I agree with Leon. Ironwood, return to Atlas. We’ll take it from here.”
Ironwood: “Thank you.”
Then Ironwood makes a call and makes plans for Arthur Watts and the invasion. Ozpin looks at me.
Ozpin: “Do you have something in mind Leon?”
Leon: [Sigh]. “Well I do have something but it’s very risky.”
Qrow: “Go on, kid. What is it?”
I told them what I’m about to do and told them about the pros and cons. My plan is to teleport directly at Salem and take her powers and use it to control the Grimms.
Qrow: “I didn’t know you can do that, kid.”
Leon: “Honestly though, I don’t know if it would work. I never tried this before.”
Ozpin: “Can you take this risk, Leon?”
Leon: “If I don’t do this, many people will die.”
Glynda: “If you take her power, the Grimms would be mindless beast once more and without any commands, the Grimms would attack random locations.”
Leon: “That’s why I’ll try to command them once I take Salem’s abilities.”
Ozpin: “You need someone will assist you dealing with Salem.”
Leon: “I will take Neo. I will also tell Raven and her tribesmen help defend against Grimms towards Vale.”
Qrow: “Wait, you know Raven?”
I nod and Qrow looks at Ozpin.
Qrow: “You knew where she is?”
Ozpin: “No. I only know that Raven and Leon made a deal each other.”
Leon: “She also requested that she wouldn’t tell anybody about her.”
Qrow: [Angry] “Where is she?”
I sigh and grab his arm. We teleport where Raven is. We are now in an island inside the trunk. Qrow got surprise by the sudden change of environment.
Qrow: “Where are we?”
I told him about the trunk and Raven and her tribesmen. Qrow can’t believe it but then accepted it. He already knew I was a weird kid.
Qrow: “Now, take me to her.”
We walk towards the castle. We saw some of her tribesmen training and walking around. They saw me and greeted me. The tribesmen already knew me because I always visited them and teach them how to cook, training and some other things. They treated me kindly because of their new base location and how tasty my food taste.
Leon: “Where’s Raven?”
Tribesmen #1: “She’s at the sauna.”
Leon: “Tell her to meet me at her office. I have something important to tell her.”
Tribesmen #1 saluted and dash inside the castle. I lead Qrow inside the castle and went to Raven’s office.
Qrow: [Whistle] “How did you do all this, kid?”
Leon: “Magic.”
Qrow: “Magic did all this? I know Ozpin have magic but even he can’t do this.”
I just smile and didn’t remark any further. We heard footsteps and moments later, the door opens.
Raven: “What is it, Leon? Can’t you see I’m busy-”
Qrow: “Busy taking a sauna.”
Raven look at us and flinch.
Qrow: “Hello Raven.”
Raven: “Qrow.”
I was about to say something but they started arguing at each other. Qrow ask her why didn’t she visited her niece, Taiyang and even her own daughter. Raven didn’t say a word and just let Qrow shouted at her. I quietly listen and patiently wait until Qrow finish his questions.
Raven: “Are you done?”
Qrow: “Do you even love your daughter, your niece and Tai?”
Raven: “I have my reasons.”
Raven stares at me like she’s going to kill me.
Raven: “Didn’t we agree on not to tell him about me?”
Leon: “It was bad timing.”
Raven: “So, what this about? Don’t tell me you just two visit here and let him scream at me.”
Qrow: “Well I want to continue to question your parenting skills but something important came up.”
Raven: “And that is?”
Leon: “Salem’s army will invade Vale in 2 days.”
