Another World Lls - Chapter 202
After breaking out of my inner monologue, I quickly sat down with the girls and started telling them about recent events in the DBZ universe, meanwhile Elanna picked out some fruits and offered them to all of us.
And so I began to tell the ‘Buu saga’ to the girls, although with certain differences, since although with my interference, ‘destiny’ is something powerful… So most of the story was or less the same as in the canon.
The first difference with the canon, was that Vegeta did not allow himself to be controlled by Babidi, since he was not so eager to fight against Goku, since Goku did not die in this time, they occasionally fought together to ‘train’…
Well, Goku trained. Vegeta simply wanted to compare his strength against Goku’s, so every x time they both went to the desert to fight.
There have even been times when those two have asked my clone to take them to some desert planet, so they could unleash their powers… They actually exploded three planets in this way…
Returning to the topic… I don’t know if it was because of convenience of the plot or what, but Babidi, managed to send Goku to god knows where with his magic… Even my clone took several days to find him, since Babidi did something to seal the space around the planet where he sent Goku. So neither my clone was able to find it quickly, nor was Goku able to leave with his Shunkanido (Instant Teleportation).
In the end, things turned out more or less like in the anime… I mean, Vegeta blew himself up in an attempt to defeat Buu… But he obviously failed.
Afterwards, everything followed more or less, the trajectory of the anime… More or less.
Another difference was, that when the z warriors retreated to lookout for young Trunks and Goten to train in the room of spirit and time, Babidi died stupidly.
As in the anime, Babidi attempted to threaten the world to find the Z warriors through telepathy.
But… How stupid is it to establish a mental link with someone who has cultivated their soul? And the funny thing is that Babidi didn’t even set up mental protections to prevent counterattacks. So a few seconds after Babidi’s ugly face appeared in the minds of all the inhabitants of the planet, with a ‘hmph’ the entire population saw how Babidi’s head exploded high, before the connection was cut.
After all that, the following events happened more or less like in the anime.
The following divergence occurred when ‘Super Buu’ or also known as the fit and chinless Buu, tried to ‘assault’ the lookout…
And he emphasized the word ‘assault’, because as soon as I stepped on the lookout, my clone locked him in a prison space… Basically fold the space around you and enclose it in a three square meter space. Also, my clone teleported almost everyone in the lookout to Bulma’s house to make sure there was no collateral damage.
Only my clone and Piccolo remained, who was in charge of supervising the training of the children.
The result was that my clone managed to retain Super Buu two for almost three days in the space prison, but with great difficulty, since Super Buu was in a berserker state due to hunger and anxiety of being trapped, so Super Buu constantly he exploited his potential trying to get out of the space prison.
Therefore, my clone was under great pressure, since although its domain of space has increased to a great extent. His raw power is still far inferior to Super Buu’s power… So with Super Buu’s subconscious use of the concept of power, my clone had a hard time keeping him locked up.
This led to the children having plenty of time to train, but… Because Goku did not have the opportunity to show off and show them the super saiyan 3… If he reached it, since not being in the afterlife, his training it was a lot slower than canon… You know, family and all that. In addition to the fact that in the afterlife, energy is spent more slowly, making it easier to train with exhaustive techniques.
But back to the topic, although the base powers of the children were much stronger than in the anime, they did not reach the status of super saiyan 3, since they did not even know that such a thing exists.
So even though they trained longer, they weren’t as strong as in the anime… Although on the other hand, after being locked up in the space prison for three days, Super Buu wasn’t at his best either… So things were balanced a little.
And while all this was happening, without anyone noticing, the seal that Babidi put on the planet where Goku was imprisoned gradually weakened, until finally Goku was able to leave the planet on his own.
Realizing that he was free, Goku wanted to return to earth, but he was too far away to feel the Ki of anyone he knew, so he chose to make a brief stop in the afterlife in order to find the earth from there.
Just when he was looking for North Kai’s Ki in the afterlife, he noticed Gohan’s Ki, so he quickly teleported to his son to ask him about the situation.
Things from there were more or less like in the anime… Except that the earth was not destroyed nor its inhabitants killed.
PS: conveniently the Namekian dragon balls weren’t necessary… Since the Namekians weren’t even in the universe at the time, so it would have been a major problem… But luckily, the convenience of the plot played a major factor here.
On the other hand, Satan did not intervene at all in the final victory, since when Goku needed help to form the Genki-Dama, it was my clone who helped him to convince the masses…
My clone faked Astrea’s voice, and told them to all the inhabitants of the planet through telepathy, that Goku had been blessed by God to protect the earth from a powerful demon who wanted to destroy them and that said champion needed the help of the rest of humanity to save them all.
Well, my clone said it in a more refined and elegant way, but the important thing is that it worked. And like any good shōnen ending, the good guys won and the bad guys lost, etc…
PS: Although Satan participated in this saga by befriending fat Buu, in reality Satan was not as famous and adored as in the anime. Since he is known as him several times crowned as a world martial arts champion, but he does not have the reputation of having saved the world or anything… So unfortunately for him, there is no city with his name on the map. Although this did not affect the plot much, since he was still a rich and important man and his daughter, Videl ended up interested in Gohan as in the anime.
Shortly after I finished telling my story to the girls, the first to jump in and ask me questions is my ever-excitable wife.
“So little Gohan got a girlfriend? How good! I am looking forward to meeting you. ” Lilith asked happily, concentrating as always on the ‘romantic’ themes of the story and ignoring the near destruction of the planet… As usual.
“I’m amazed at how much that brat has grown. It still seems to me like it was yesterday when he was a kid.” I comment C-18 with a thoughtful face, remembering the old days. Besides also ignoring the possible extinction of humanity…
“Don’t worry, in a few months it will be Bulma’s birthday, and I’m sure you will be able to meet the young woman and see if she is suitable for Gohan.” I told Lilith, since as a s.u.c.c.u.b.u.s (At least this version of a s.u.c.c.u.b.u.s), she places a lot of importance on compatibility between couples, so she takes the relationsh.i.p.s of our acquaintances very seriously.
In fact, more than once, I have heard that Lilith has helped members of the different factions of the clan to find a mate… Also, as ‘my’ wife, hardly anyone dares to take him in public… Besides how they benefit In the end, no one has put up much resistance to Lilith’s ‘obsessive’ matchmaking efforts…
And so we all continue chatting happily…
