Aphrodite’s Choice - Chapter 64.1
Epilogue – Aphrodite’s Choice
Being tied up wasn’t just a metaphor. Aphrodite was, literally, tied up. Both of her wrists were cuffed in magical golden rings stuck together, which had a gold chain connecting the rings to the wall at the back.
These chains held her in place. If not, she could have had her way with Hephaestus. She would have merely caught him off guard and clung onto him, with her legs around his waist, or pushed him down. But he had known that she had a mind to do those stuff, so he had asked her if it was okay for her to be tied, because he knew he couldn’t escape her seduction. She had obliged, and now she regretted it.
“You liked it when I rubbed you here this morning,” he whispered, touching her in her most intimate parts. Hephaestus was calm and warm and gentle, but his childhood of neglect had twisted him somehow, hence his fascination with his instruments which he had to apply on Aphrodite. “But now, your reaction is different,” he said hoarsely, “I wonder why that is.”
She moaned. “I wasn’t fully awake that time,” she said with difficulty. It was hard for her to form coherent thoughts. “How could it have been the same? It’s a human body, you get different reactions… ah.”
“But it has been the same as in the morning, there is nothing different now,” he said softly.
“Nothing different?” she said and glared at him, “What the hell are these then?”
“What do you mean?” he asked.
“These,” she said, thrusting her chest out and indicating the lewd rings attached to her peaks. It already made them more sensitive than they already were, so that every flutter of his touch sent a shiver of pleasure through her body. “Are you going to pretend you don’t know anything about these?” she asked incredulously. He had attached them himself.
“Well, you didn’t seem to mind them,” he said sheepishly, “So I thought it had no effect on you.”
“What?!” exclaimed Aphrodite, “Hephaestus…”
“Let’s take a look then, shall we?” he said matter-of-factly. He reached a hand over and stroked her mounds. She arched her back and let out a moan. The little gold rings were attached on her bre*sts in such a manner that it intensified his touch and sent a wave of pleasure through her. The tiny rings looked more lewd than the rings and chains binding her.
Hephaestus lowered his head to them, making Aphrodite even more frantic. His hands rubbed her soft mound. “I don’t see much difference,” he said. While Aphrodite couldn’t hold herself back and moaned even louder. “Ah, maybe it is different,” he smirked.
She threw a look at him full of resentment. “Would you prefer if I touch you there and here at the same time?” he asked politely, as he took her mounds into one of his hands and fondled them while he let his other hand finger her senselessly.
Aphrodite, who had been barely able to keep her consciousness, moaned and screamed. Tears stung her eyes, but the wave of pleasure was too great. His fingers stroked her and his mouth descended on her bre*st, and she came with a cry.
Aphrodite was writhing and drowning in pleasure. She was exhausted. She tried to clear her vision and breathe normally. Finally, she was able to make sense of her surroundings and heard a voice calling her name.
“Aphrodite,” Hephaestus called.
“Mmm…” she mumbled.
“Are you back?” he asked. He was looking at her. His hand held her chin, while the other stroked her back. He smiled.
“Yes, dummy,” she said.
“Was it good?” he asked her.
“Hmm,” she mumbled and bit his palm.
“Does that mean you did not like it?” he asked, surprised.
“I liked it so much that I thought I would go crazy,” she said. It was adorable how he intended to pleasure her so completely. But sometimes it annoyed her to play with all these instruments instead of just him. She wanted only him.
“Then what’s wrong?” he asked.
“You ask as if you don’t know,” she rolled her eyes. “I have told you. I don’t care for all these. Just you. I would prefer it if you could just abandon these playthings and do it with me directly.” Aphrodite licked along his palm and kissed him on his shoulder. He flinched. She felt something hard graze her thighs. “See?” she whispered, “That is what I mean.”
“Mmm,” he mumbled in the face of her kisses. “I am sorry.”
“Why?” she asked, “Do you not like to do it with me? Does something hold you back? Why do you always hesitate?”
“No,” he said softly, “I love you. I just like the sight of you wanting me so badly. I like to see you so tortured and begging for me. Is that bad?”
Aphrodite sighed. She did enjoy it, but she loved it more when it was with him. When she could touch him and caress him. She wrapped her legs around him. “You have seen enough, right?” she asked.
“What?” he said, confused.
“You saw how tortured I was,” she said, “How much I wanted you. Now it’s my turn.”
“Aren’t you tired though?” he asked worriedly.
“Hephaestus,” she said sternly, “Don’t make me say it again.” She tightened her legs around his waist and pulled him to her. His hard shaft at her entrance. He gasped. He entered her slowly, and she accepted him, spreading herself wide. She smiled in satisfaction. He snapped his finger, and the chains disappeared. His muscular arms wrapped around her waist. She wrapped her hands around his neck.
* * *
They whiled away their days and night in this manner, dedicated wholly to making love. Aphrodite went to the hot spring with Hephaestus, but this time, she couldn’t just go straight to bed like always. They were gods. There was work to be done.
She had left her sanctuary unattended after her wedding. There would be tons of work that would have been piled up. She needed to attend to them. So, she decided to leave for a while to finish the pending tasks.
“Just send a message whenever you are done,” said Hephaestus.
“Of course,” she said.
“Should I come and wait for you if I finish my work sooner?” he asked, eagerly.
Aphrodite smiled. He hated to be apart from her, even for a moment. She looked into his grey eyes. “No need to go that far, sweetheart.”
He looked desperate. This god, who had trouble expressing emotion, now showed so many sentiments on his face. “I think I will miss you the moment you leave.”
Aphrodite chuckled. She wanted to tease him, but she never could when he looked at her like that. She got dressed. She spread her arms wide and nodded to him. Hephaestus slowly embraced her. He was dressed in his casual attire where his chest was exposed. Being held in his burly arm, against his sturdy chest, Aphrodite felt at peace.
“Me too, dummy,” she said.
“Then I will come and wait for you,” he said hurriedly.
“You are busier than me,” she said sternly, “You have to meet Zeus today. Are you going to leave him waiting and run to me?”
“I just meant I might be able to move things a little quickly,” he smiled sheepishly.
“Give Zeus as much time as he wants,” she said, “And do your work properly. The world has to be at peace.”
Hephaestus looked confused. “We turned our promises into oaths,” she chuckled. “Till the world ends, remember? So, are you going to fight Zeus and end the world?”
“Of course not,” he said, dejectedly.
“I will be back,” she assured him, “And so will you. Don’t worry.” She knew this to be true in her heart. Nothing could ever keep them apart. He loved her in his own twisted way, and she loved him too.
“Hephaestus?” she called.
“Yes?” he said.
“Lean down a little,” she said.
He leaned down so his eye was level with her. She hugged him. “I love you,” she whispered in his ears. Amongst the repertoire of vast languages of love at her disposal, these few words were the simplest, yet the most powerful phrase she could find.
She placed a kiss on his forehead. He belonged with her, forever. The god that Aphrodite had chosen for herself. Aphrodite’s choice.
The end.
