Apocalypse Cheater - Chapter 182 A Named Weapon
Chapter 182 A Named Weapon
[: Daniel POV :]
The beauty of the purple sphere I manifested had me captivated.
It was a mesmerizing sight.
However, I decided to dismantle it, and as it fragmented, its essence gracefully dispersed back into the atmosphere, where its energy rightfully belonged.
Exiting the scene, I glanced over at my mother engaging in conversation with other VIP members.
At that moment, I realized that it was time to move on to my next plan.
The launch of the Tessera acted as a trigger, signalling the commencement of my next crucial mission.
It was time to with the 4 Holy Templars.
They were strategically stationed in distinct districts North, South, West, and East.
Each Templar is guarded by a designated Holy Saint.
These Templars and their guardians hold the key to a critical part of my quest
In the first place, what are the Holy Templars?
Well, they aren’t a group that follows religion but rather, they follow the faith of a Being beyond our comprehension.
Beings that I didn’t even know whether or not they existed, but the Holy Templars contained powerful Rankers.
If according to time, no player could challenge them until they have reached the Transcendent Rank.
But the Transcendent Rank is just the minimum.
They have to be at least Level 5000 to challenge the Quests given by the 4 Holy Saints of the Holy Templars.
The reason why I am targeting the 4 Holy Templars is because of a Treasure that they kept for hundreds of years.
It’s a treasure that I want to have and it’s something that I’m not willing to miss.
After all, the treasure is a world-breaking power that could defy reality itself.
It was a power that granted the Player to freely fight according to how he or she wants.
It sounds ridiculous but that just shows how powerful the treasure is.
Just thinking about it made me more excited and impatient to obtain it.
Afterwards, a day had passed by and I was prepared for my conquest over the treasures at the Holy Templars.
Even though there is no need for armour and weapons, I chose to wear armour.
However, to strive for better equipment stats that suit my current strength, I chose to Smith my weapon armour.
At times like this, my Class, Smith of Beginning would prove its speciality.
The class itself provided skills that were rather unique in their way.
After all, since the skills belonged to the Smith Class, it was more of creating.
[: Smith of Beginning :]
– Active Skills: Repair(S), Upgrade(S), Create(S) Awaken(S), De-Construct(S)
– Passive Skills: Smith Body(S), Smith Patience(S)
Without any hesitation, I decided to increase 3 of its active skills, Create, Upgrade and Awaken to the Mythic Rank which consumed altogether 15 Skill Upgrade Runes.
The results from it were worthy of using 15 Skill Upgrade Runes.
[: Upgrade (Mythic) :]
– Have a 100% chance of upgrading any weapon or armour –
– Have a 100% chance of adding additional stats or effects –
– Consume Materials and Mana to upgrade –
[: Awaken (Mythic) :]
– Upon upgrading 10 times, able to awaken weapon or armour –
– Has 100% chance of Awakening –
– Consume Materials and Mana to upgrade –
[: Create (Mythic) :]
– Able to create any weapons or armour according to imagination –
– Has 100% chance of success –
– Has 100% chance of having Bonus Effects or Status –
– Consume Materials and Mana to Create –
It might seem underwhelming from the effect of the skills.
However, having a Smith class that provides a 100% chance of success is a miracle of blessing.
After all, the usual rate of success was rather 1% and this is why Smith Classes aren’t popular due to the effect rates.
But with 100% that I had, it was absolute.
Moreover, I had yet to upgrade the class, so I can’t help but wonder what would be the skills it’ll have in the future.
Nevertheless, with the Smith skills I have now, I could create weapons and armour of my choice.
Without wasting any more time, I took out the Sets of 5th Tier Equipment that I had with me.
When it comes to equipment, the ranks were exactly the same as Skills.
However, the only difference is the fact that there are Tiers.
In each rank, there’s a total of ten tiers and the set of equipment that was given to me were 5th Tiers.
For a 5th Tiers Mythic Ranked Equipments, this was considered heavenly treasure and if it was ever sold and auctioned on Earth, the price could stretch for Billions.
Moreover, since a Mythic Ranked Weapon hasn’t been revealed and released yet, it could be a priceless treasure.
But for me, money isn’t an issue.
What’s important is that I will be sacrificing the sets to create a new better set.
With that, I took each weapon from the 5 sets and sacrificed them to create a new Weapon.
The moment I clicked on the Create Skill, a wide platform and holographic screen manifested.
From the screen, I could see that there are 2 options that I could create.
One of the Options is simply more of a direct approach as I could simply choose a Sword, and it’ll create a Sword.
However, the other option is through a rough sketch and the skill will automatically adjust it.
Moreover, I could type words to add specific features, abilities, effects and even the amount of stars that I could have.
Since this was my first time having a Smith Class, I was delighted by the manure of the skill.
For my weapon, I want it to be a Scythe.
However, it won’t be just any Sycthe.
It will be a Scythe that would suit me to the best and my abilities.
I typed a specific feature of, ‘Scythe that’s perfect for me’.
I’m not sure whether would that be effective, but let’s find out.
However, the moment I saw the Materials required for the Creation of the Scythe, I was shocked.
I didn’t specify or choose what I wanted the Scythe ranked to be at, but the materials that I needed to create were rather enormous.
It required millions of cores from Level 800 to Transcendent Cores.
But I didn’t have any Transcendent Cores.
This might be a problem.
But looking at the 5 5th Tiers Mythic Weapons that I had, I thought of another plan.
Would the materials be fulfilled if I sacrificed all 5 of them?
Without wasting any more time, I placed all of the 5 Sets for the Materials and Immediately, half of the Materials were fulfilled.
And the rest of the materials were resources that I had and I quickly put all of the resources required.
Eventually, now that the materials had been filled, I smiled widely as I couldn’t wait what would be the outcome of my creation.
In a swift motion, I tapped the ‘Create’ command on the interface.
Almost instantly, an iridescent rainbow light materialized seemingly out of thin air.
The radiant light coalesced, seemingly weaving and crafting the form of the Scythe, as if born from the very spectrum of the rainbow.
Within moments, the Scythe solidified and descended into my grasp.
Mesmerized, I beheld the newly formed weapon.
As I held the Scythe, an indescribable resonance and pulsation coursed through the weapon.
It created an inexplicable connection between the weapon and me.
The vibrations seemed to echo a power yet to be unleashed.
The Scythe seemed to exude an unusual liveliness.
It was as though it carried an eagerness to connect with its intended wielder, displaying an almost animated anticipation.
Simultaneously, I found myself completely enchanted by the Scythe’s design.
Its appearance was a captivating blend of three distinct colors, crimson, gold, and black.
They were interwoven in an intricate and alluring pattern.
The harmonious fusion of these hues created an aesthetic that was both striking and compelling.
It added an air of mystique to the Scythe’s allure.
Moments later as I held the scythe, there was a notification.
[: Would you like to name the weapon? :]
This time, I was slightly stunned by how things had worked.
Although I have heard of Smith’s naming their weapons, that was a rare occasion when the weapons or amours they built were considered Unique.
At this point, I couldn’t help but smirk as I knew that this Scythe would be having a long journey with me.
This was my first time naming a weapon and it brings an important meaning to me.
For all the moments that I have suffered, this weapon would soon be part of a mission that would destroy the Apocalypse.
“That’s right…that name would be fine” I muttered as I gazed at the Scythe. This chapter was first shared on the Ñøv€lß1n platform.
Since my goal was to destroy the Apocalypse, it would make sense for the weapon to be named after it.
“I have decided” I had made up my mind and soon, I answered with, “The name of the Weapon would be ‘Ragnarok”
[: Do you wish to name your weapon as Ragnarok? :]
“Yes”
[: The name of the Scythe would be Ragnarok from now on :]
Ragnarok was a mythological title of the event that meant the destruction of the universe and the rebirth of a new world after the cataclysm.
In a similar event, the Earth would soon be overrule with Apocalypse.
However, I would shatter the Apocalypse and although bringing a rebirth of a new world after the Apocalypse might be too much for me, it was something that I had in mind.
This is why, I decided to name the Weapon after Ragnarok as it fits my goal.
