Apocalypse: System of lotteries - Chapter 513 Good Stick!
The Three-Eyed Freak began sweeping with his broom, saying, “If you want to pass through here, it’s simple – leave that one in the JK skirt~”
“~~” Ming frowned, puzzled why Kyomoto Jiro was so sought-after?
Had the world changed too fast, or was he lagging behind the times?
He turned to look at Kyomoto Jiro, pointing to the broom man. “He likes you and wants to be with you~ What do you think?”
[Kyomoto Jiro gently flips him the bird~]
[…]
Ming faced the Three-Eyed Freak. “As you can see, you’re not my Kyomoto Jiro’s type… How about this werewolf? Look, he’s already drooling for you. Don’t mind the extra fur; it feels nice~”
“…” The Three-Eyed Freak whistled. The Divine Hound came over, and he stroked its head. “I have a dog.”
Ming rubbed his nose, feigning dilemma. “You must understand, I’m not one for violence. So, let me pass, and I’ll give you a beauty I’ve treasured for years; how about it?”
“Good looking?”
“Extremely.”
“Fine~ Let’s see~”
“Alright~”
Ming summoned Euryale, who glanced around upon appearing and quickly grasped the situation. She smiled at the Three-Eyed Freak, biting her lip coquettishly. In a sweet voice, she said, “Sir, I just love scholarly men like you~ Do you like me?”
[Your Foodie has no defense against Euryale, such a lovely voice~ Though it must stay loyal to its koi…]
“No thanks~”
The broom Three-Eyed Freak’s expression was flat as he shook his head in disgust. “I don’t like women without legs~”
“Fuck!”
Euryale flipped him off, hiding behind her boss and repeating the gesture.
“Be civilized; our reputation for that is widely known.” n(-O𝑣𝑒𝐥𝔟In
Ming remained unruffled. He’d intended for Euryale to paralysis him, not expecting this Freak to discriminate against her lack of legs. Petrification failed…
So Ming summoned Selene and set her dancing…
The Three-Eyed Freak shook his head. “I don’t like zombies.”
“Screw you! Let’s fight!”
Ming waved his hand – forget subtlety, go straight to fighting!
As his voice fell:
[Kyoto Jiro rages, charging forward… launching a wrestling move!]
In the next instant, Three-Eyed Freak leaped back swiftly, throwing the dog before him…
A wrestling ring appeared. Kyoto Jiro lifted the dog, and power slammed him down… Meanwhile, Raoul and Frank charged the Three-Eyed Freak from left and right.
Ming placed the frogs on the ground and rushed in to assist.
[Yourfrogs silently pray for the Divine Hound~]
[Your da Vinci is moved to pity – gentle Kyoto Jiro, provoked to such fury, how cruel~]
[Your Foodie understands as it watches the Divine Hound tossed from the ring. It immediately enters battle mode, ramming and tumbling Ao Tian again and again~]
On the other side, the Three-Eyed Freak’s form flickered as he leaped clear of the encirclement. He lifted the broom overhead with a low roar – the wooden handle shattered, revealing a silver gun barrel in his grip. His hands shook as he thrust the spear-tipped, double-bladed weapon forward.
“…” Ming had to applaud this performance – pretty badass~ Immediately, he dashed over at top speed, single-handedly lifting the Thunder Hammer as he closed in to offer a health potion. In that instant, the Three-Eyed Freak flashed behind Frank, the potion falling into the werewolf’s hands.
[Received 10,000 gold from target]
[Target has no money, paid with possessions~]
[Target very clean, not even a louse~]
“…” Ming froze in surprise. The Three-Eyed Freak had dodged him!
That’s right; the Titan Spirit had said this guy’s third eye could foresee opponents’ next moves. But where was that eye? He clearly only had two…
Luckily, Ming hadn’t immediately summoned the tent, or he’d have had no way to lure the Freak inside if it didn’t cover him. He just needed to immobilize the target for a few seconds. But the guy’s foresight was too strong; I couldn’t get a lock on him at all.
Boom!
Boom!
The spear smashed down, striking Frank’s back and flattening him to the ground. As the Three-Eyed Freak raised his gun to stab down, Raoul charged in, slashing with his six long knives, forcing the Freak to nimbly dodge the blades – he made it look effortless.
Weaving through Raoul’s tight blade defense, he thrust the spear straight into Raoul’s chest, blasting him back several steps.
At the same time, Ming came hammering down from above!
The Freak evaded and retaliated with his gun. Ming didn’t try to dodge, hoping to tank the shot to grab the Freak and summon the tent. But in that split-second, the Freak changed from a stab to a sweeping strike, catching Ming mid-motion, unable to adjust. The blow sent him crashing through a gas station pillar before he came to a stop.
[Seeing you get hit and fall, your Foodie immediately hops over, crying, ‘Ming, baby fish snacks!’ It swallows your baby fish snacks, getting pumped up and entering battle mode. Foodie feels stronger than dozens of bulls now, charging and headbutting~]
[Foodie rams the Three-Eyed Freak, who effortlessly sidesteps the instant before impact~ Foodie is dumbfounded by his agility~]
[Your Foodie uses its collecting ability on the Freak – success! After landing, it croaks proudly – dodge my charge, but not my collect?]
“…” The Three-Eyed Freak stands frozen, looking somewhat lost.
“Good~”
Ming puts away the Thunder Hammer and charges with fists raised.
The Three-Eyed Freak waits there, unconcerned. “I don’t know what trick made me lose my weapons and clothes, but you’re still delusional if you think you can hit me!” As Ming approaches, he adds leisurely, “So slow, how weak~”
Just then, Ming shouts, “10m! 5cm!”
“??” The Freak frowns, then laughs. Calling out distance and punch speed, what confidence in your fist…
Buzz! Boom!
He feels a massive impact strike his chest and is sent flying!
Ming immediately shrinks his staff to needle form. His fist may be slow, but changing length happens instantly when he wills it – impossibly fast for the staff. Together with his forward force, the result is lightning-fast and accurate!
He suddenly realizes the true use for the Divine Staff – supremely extendable pole!
Ming grasps his fist and charges again as the Three-Eyed Freak stumbles up. “15m! 4cm!”
Boom! Struck again, the Freak is blasted back before he can steady himself. Ming calls out, “20m, 5cm!”
Boom! It’s the third hit, but I still no idea how. Just a golden flash… But he understands the numbers called are the distance between them. He charges forward instead of retreating, closing to 10m. The instant Ming opens his mouth, the Freak jerks back – let’s see you hit me now!
“100m, 7cm!”
“100?”
Boom! Blasted back again! In his mind: We were 10m apart, yet you called 100? You damn dog.
Ming shrinks his staff, pleasantly surprised by the range it achieved~
Good stick!
