Aria’s Tales - Chapter 49 3.8 Miss Troublemaker
Lily: Isn’t this bad? What if your brothers find you?
Qin Huang: Qin Huang is a wild girl. They would never think as such even if they saw me. It’s a pity that they didn’t notice Qin Huang’s girly side. She is still a girl after all~
Her phone rang while she strolled around the mall, attracting all eyes, and making people bump into all kinds of stuff. One poor guy ogled too much that he bumped into a trashcan and spilled its contents. His feelings were a mixture of happiness at seeing a beauty and sadness at getting humiliated.
Qin Huang didn’t even glance at the commotion he created and answered the call. Her new phone was already configured with her strongest firewall – one that she herself created through thousands of years of knowledge. She was confident enough to say that it was unbreakable.
“Feng… the Qins will arrive at your hotel in 5 minutes.” Over the phone was a young male voice who sounded lethargic. His deep and sleepy voice could have impregnated anyone’s ears but unfortunately, the receiver was none other than Qin Huang.
“Thanks Qiao. Are the others ready?” Qin Huang looked at her watch and decided to head to Lotux Hotel a day earlier than her plan.
There was a rustle over the phone before a different young male voice answered Qin Huang’s question. “Ready! I can’t wait already so can we do it earl- owie! Why did you hit me??”
Qin Huang had to listen to a few minutes of Qiao’s scolding before the other side calmed down. Their liveliness made her giggle. “My hotel is already spotted. I might as well head there now. Remember your targets.” She had a smile etched to her beautiful face, but her eyes glowed with a cold glint – to which she hid after a blink.
Qiao sounded an affirmation before hanging up. His crude act did nothing to break Qin Huang’s excitement and her smile turned playful. She couldn’t wait to wreak havoc ahem I mean, she couldn’t wait to start her new “game”.
Qin Huang was waiting near the entrance to the mall sitting on a finely carved bench, seemingly looking at her cell phone when really she was looking at the gloomy-looking Lily in the corner of her mind.
Qin Huang poked the gloomy little rabbit. ‘What’s wrong?’
‘I’m a failure…’ Lily murmured dejectedly.
‘Hm?’ Qin Huang held the rabbit in her hands gently and patted Lily’s head. ‘Why would you think so?’
Lily looked at her master with a face that was wronged. ‘I forgot about Qin Huang’s troublemaker squad.’
Qin Huang stiffened in surprise and tried her hardest to stop herself from laughing. She couldn’t bear to tease such a serious looking Lily even though the rabbit’s cuteness tickled her heart. She petted Lily more and smiled. ‘Lily is not a failure. Your master might not be here without you after all.’
Lily tilted her head to the side, unconvinced by Qin Huang’s words, but her gloomy cloud had dispersed. She leaned her head on Qin Huang’s palms and wondered what her master meant.
Qin Huang’s wait did not take half an hour when her phone notified her of a new message.
‘Your driver has arrived. – Qiao’
Qin Huang giggled at his formal tone. She went outside the mall to find a BMW parked with a cold-faced driver in front and got inside the passenger’s seat while very naturally going back to scrolling through her phone. As if Qiao, acting as the driver, had always been her driver.
When she got into the hotel, all she needed to do was flash a smile at a handsome man staring at her while waiting for the elevator to arrive. Qiao had already taken care of everything so she had nothing to worry about. Before she got out of the car, however, she left her purse along with her credit and debit cards – which were the reason why her brothers could track her down. Hers and Qiao’s hacking skills could only delay them for a minimum of ten hours.
Qiao did not dally around after he set down her luggage in her room and bowed before leaving. His cold face did not change in the slightest.
The natural thing for her to do was open her luggage and arrange her clothes so she did, and only glanced at a purse before continuing her work. The purse had new credit and debit cards inside including a few important identification cards like a driver’s license.
As to how Qiao have gotten hold of her picture in such a short amount of time, well … the guy is actually the top hacker in China! He had already used the mall’s hidden cameras to take an ID photo of Qin Huang’s new look. It was so professionally done that the photo looked as if it was taken personally by a photographer.
No one would have thought that this genius was actually affiliated with the Qin Mafia Family’s only princess.
Lily: Qiao is amazing~
Qin Huang: *giggles* He is. But Zhelan is even more so.
Zhelan was the person who was with Qiao during the phone call, and just as she said that, her doorbell rang. She was greeted with a beautiful Chinese young lady who was wearing a pink sunday dress, carrying a pink suitcase.
Qin Huang grinned. “Zhelan you’re here~”
“Sis Feng~” Zhelan replied with a coquettish female voice – a great contrast to his earlier young male voice.
Zhelan is actually a well-trained spy who is great at disguises. He had completed numerous spy missions in the past and his success rate was 93%. It was the highest it could go considering the number of tasks he had already done.
Do not be fooled by Qiao’s and Zhelan’s appearances. These two are already over thirty but still look as young as twenty. And most importantly, the two are lovers.
The two were already together when they met Qin Huang in one of her “games” three years ago. At that time, the lovers were in the same organization that was carrying out illegal businesses. Since they had lived their whole life hiding against authorities and with their life on the line, if they ever tried to get their freedom, their spirits were bound to be exhausted despite having someone to cuddle with.
Qin Huang was like a double-edged sword that appeared in their life. Her identity meant that they were just jumping ships and that they would be under the mafia now instead of their organization. But following her would also mean that they would not have to always hide against authorities. After all, the Qin Mafia was also feared by the government as they had the ability to affect the economy and their rankings.
However, before they could come up with the decision, Qin Huang had already done so for them.
She had blown off their organization’s base using Qin Zedong’s prototype bomb.
They were speechlessly won over. And three years later, they have yet to regret following their troublemaker boss. Such a fun boss, why would they think of leaving her?
Qin Huang and Zhelan hugged as if they were girl friends having their reunion making Lily avert her eyes and light candles for the people who will soon be fooled. Both “girls” were so beautiful that some staffs who passed by had to pause to let this wonderful scene sink in.
“Gurl~ I haven’t seen you for a long time now. How’s life?” Zhelan worriedly asked when in reality they had just hung out a month ago.
Qin Huang’s smile faltered for a moment and Zhelan noticed it. She wryly smiled and said, “Gossip later. Arrange your clothes first.” Qin Huang’s “tamed” look seemed to have been quite the surprise as Zhelan felt a chill ran on his back. The difference was too huge of a contrast ah!
Zhelan’s room was just across Qin Huang’s and thirty minutes later, Qin Huang had told her story in three words and one sentence.
“I got dumped.”
A wide-eyed and in disbelief Zhelan stared at Qin Huang. He rapidly blinked twice before checking Qin Huang from head to toe, then he pointed at her with his trembling pointy finger. “A- A- Are you sure?” Even though Qin Huang looked totally different – in fact, it was the total opposite – she was still the undisputed ultimate playgirl ah! With her seductive body and gorgeous face, no man could resist against her!
And yet, she said she got dumped.
Zhelan couldn’t fathom it. How can that be?! Morever… Qin Huang’s real identity was something they fear to even mention. It was why Qiao called her brothers formally earlier on the phone, instead of saying “your brothers are coming,” he opted in calling them “the Qins”. The name had already become a taboo in the elite circle that you’d have to have the proper background and guts to say “brothers”.
Qin Huang nodded dully but her lips were pursed lightly. She looked like she was trying to show a strong front to hide her pain as she did her best to stay on top of her act. Her eyes glistened as they watered but she rapidly blinked them away.
She was in an act inside an act. So her concentration was through the roof, even Lily’s praises to her master’s acting skills went unanswered.
And Zhelan had already reached his own conclusion that the man was a blind jerk, and he needed a large black eye to his face.
Zhelan honestly couldn’t process it. But Qin Huang didn’t elaborate her story further and dragged Zhelan to the casino situated on the eleventh floor of the building.
When they got to the entrance, they showed their VIP cards and the two guards guarding the entrance let them in. The “girls” strode inside and looked as if they were mesmerized – professionally showing an ignorant look.
Lily had already made a soft sofa inside of Qin Huang’s mind and watched the spectacle with popcorn on her paws they weren’t real, but Lily thought it was a must.
The two beauties immediately attracted everyone’s attention much to the satisfaction of Qin Huang. She pulled her bestie closer and whispered, “did you found a handsome man?”
She had carefully whispered the words, but even still, many had heard her question and some had the ability to read her lips.
Suddenly, plenty of the so-called handsome men immediately straightened their backs and loosened their collars. Those that already had a partner, however, had to smile and hide their disappointment. The real phoenixes are here ah! poor men had no idea that one of the phoenixes was not flat in the bottom.
Zhelan puckered her lips as if she was deep in thought, scanning her glassy dark brown eyes to the men in the poker tables, she looked twice at a man with a sapphire stone on his right ear. On his third glance, he saw the man smile lightly at him seemingly pleased at getting Zhelan’s attention.
Zhelan timely blushed and hugged Qin Huang closer. “Fengie~ I think I found one.” He held his red cheeks after and patted them in hopes to cool his hot face.
The man raised his eyebrows; he was amused at Zhelan’s reaction. He stood up from his seat, surprising the people around him, and gracefully walked over to Zhelan. Qin Huang and Zhelan both saw him but Zhelan acted as if he didn’t notice.
Qin Huang nudged her friend playfully. “Oh my god. He’s coming~!” She giggled and squealed lightly to which Zhelan reacted by making his face redder and stiffening his body.
They looked like pure white bunnies in the middle of a pack of wolves.
However, sinister thoughts were circling in their minds as they secretly poked each other happily. Their first target had easily taken the bait. No matter if his plan is to simply “play” with Zhelan, he was already well caught in their schemes as soon as he decided to stand.
Qin Huang eyed the man, who was now standing a step away from them, wearing a maroon formal suit that fit perfectly with his sapphire ear. He raised his hand for a handshake.
“Good Evening ladies.”

A/N: I am back! Hallelujah!
Decided to post two chaps early~ another two chapters tomorrow as well. I have also noticed that I do not do well with making bulk chapters. It makes me procrastinate. Daily chapter is still the best way for me to write so I don’t become lazy. I know many of you want bulk chapters but if I continue like this, I will only continue to break promises I can’t keep.
So from today onwards, it will be daily updates. Unless finals come again (which is 4/5 months from now), there will be at least one chapter a day. And just like before, there will be bonus chapters when for some reason I made 4 chapters in one sitting, in one day, and each are 2k words (then I am a puddle right after).
Thank you for the best wishes on my finals. I passed!
