Army of True Salvation - Chapter 184:Sadhu Prophecy
Sheloah’s mother touched her daughter’s hand. “Don’t be scared. I may not be that good in fighting, but I’m always here,” she said and this indeed comforted her daughter.
“I was wondering,” Tyler trailed off as they were walking. “Was the dog really the reason why the zombie apocalypse happened,” he asked and this made everyone wonder.
Come to think of it, when the zombie apocalypse happened in their school, the guard said something about a dog bite. Then during their time in the rooftop, Jules had some research about how a zombie apocalypse started.
“I doubt that theory,” Erick said, everyone’s eyes were on him as they walked. “I was looking at the road one time when I arrived at school. I suddenly saw a person biting off someone’s neck. At first, I thought it was a crazy person being aggressive since we sometimes have a crazy person near our school so I just ignored it,” he added then Jun suddenly spoke.
“Remember the time we chatted Veon’s older sister? Didn’t the zombie apocalypse also start there? Meaning, it did not start here, but it also started in other countries. But how,” he said then this made everyone wonder.
Sheloah’s uncle has a point. How did the zombie apocalypse happen in their country?
“Are you familiar with the Sadhu prophecy,” Sheloah’s mother asked and the others shook their heads. “I don’t know if it’s a coincidence but most of his prophecies came true. Remember the earthquakes? It happened. Even the tsunami. He also said that the Philippines might experience an earthquake. He even said the specific place. He even predicted the typhoon Yolanda, and it did hit our country,” Sheloah’s mother added and this had everyone intrigued.
“One of his prophecies even stated that there is a flesh-eating disease that will happen in Pangasinan. Didn’t we also receive news of that? But it was also reported as a hoax. So I’m not sure if this was the origin of the zombie apocalypse. I mean, it did also happen in our city but there was no virus, whatsoever,” Shannara said then Kreiss spoke.
“With all these questions and things we remember, it would just be a coincidence,” he said, making Sheloah sigh.
“How are we going to look for answers? Do you think we’ll come up with something once we reach Australia,” Sheloah asked and the others shrugged, not knowing what will happen.
“Do you think there would be a heal or cure for this,” Geof asked and most of them shook their heads.
“I think it’s impossible,” Isobel said then Veon spoke after how many hours of being quiet.
“In Warm Bodies and in World War Z, they have a cure, right? Do you think that’s possible?”
Erick scoffed. “It’s all a fantasy. Except for World War Z, though… it may be possible. It has to be researched and to be proven.”
“But for World War Z’s method, it is kind of scary. They used a deadly pathogen. Didn’t they think of the risk or the side effects? What about those people who have a weak immune system? I think this method is useless,” Isobel said and it was indeed a logical argument.
This made everyone quiet. With the number of days they spent fighting off zombies, they could not find clues on how to heal them. They just thought of ways on how to kill them or avoid them. They still haven’t got a clue as to how the apocalypse started!
Everything is indeed, still a mystery.
