When the strange man disappear from her sight, Arnie continues picking coffee beans. She already picked many coffee beans,specially so because their coffee beans is a robusta coffee beans, it is quite easy to pick, although they also have liberica and excelsa coffee for their own consumption at home.

After a while she heard her sister calling, maybe her father is getting them ready to go home.

Arnie’s mother is cooking rice for their dinner, the left over chicken cook in coconut milk and fried shoemaker fish is their vayand.
Arnie is busy helping her youngest sister wash up, she will put her to sleep after feeding her with the left over rice and vayand chicken cook in coconut milk, ( tagalog, chicken Curry ) from lunch.
Rossane: older sister Arnie, do we still have ripe mango? I love to eat it together with rice eh.
Arnie: yep, I’ve picked many mangoes and papaya this afternoon, I just left it in the west part of our farm because I can’t carry it all but I went back and get it this afternoon before we go home. Jr helped me though to carry the sacked and the sack bag.
During dinner, her father eat early and went ahead to go visit his older brother kiko who lived near the entrance of the barrio
Arnie: mom, earlier while I was picking coffee beans near the cart road a mestizo guy passes by, pulling a rope. It is weird because he looks like he’s not from here. his clothes are elegant and look rich, and he is wearing boots??? he doesn’t have anyone with him from our barrio. I suspect that he is lost???
Betty: my child, if there is a stranger in our barrio its impossible for us not to know. Our barrio is too small for a stranger to get lost.
