Assassins Creed System - Chapter 4 Three Year Timeskip

Right now I am playing ninja with none other than Namikaze Minato, that’s right, Namikaze Minato A.K.A The Yellow Flash of Konoha and Yondaime Hokage.

The first time I realised that I had been born within his timeframe I nearly passed out to which he ended up being concerned over me as he was like his anime persona of being slightly girlish and caring towards others. Now I know what Hinata went through when she saw Naruto, just without the ‘love’, more of admiration towards him and his, well was going to be, his future actions. I don’t just mean him sacrificing himself for Naruto, I am talking about the way he slaughtered his enemies like they were nothing and they didn’t even have the time to register that they were dead before their heads were falling to the ground detached from their bodies.

After the day he took me back to my room to rest we ended up becoming friends. Minato was my first friend after being reborn into this world as having an adult soul made it hard to connect with the other children. And because I can’t control my feelings too well thanks to my child brain I tend to openly show my indifference to them. If I behaved any more indifferent people would probably suspect me of being an Uchiha.

However through my fanatism towards Minato I clicked really well with him and the fact that no matter how old my soul is my brain is that of a child therefore I didn’t have that much control over my emotions and such. What embarrased me more though was the time where I had to have people change me as I couldn’t control my body to the point of not peeing or sh*tting my nappies.

What else, oh yeah. The second shinobi war began, that’s why Minato ended up here as his parents were killed in action which was probably the reason we didn’t get much info on them in the anime or manga. At first Minato was depressed and didn’t really talk with anyone but that was expected as his parents had just died however thanks to this being a shinobi world filled with death it only took him a couple days before he had moved past it.

Another person that I met during these three years was Mitarashi Anko. Yep, that’s right however I didn’t get too close to her yet but we could be considered good friends. She was in the same situation as Minato, her parents were also killed in action, thanks to the war a lot of kids are being orphaned however the only people I could recognise so far was Minato and Anko.

What baffled me was that he actually had a brother and a sister however I couldn’t bring myself to tell him their fates. The reason I am reacting like is that his sister is under Orochimaru, yeah, that sick fuck while his brother is under Danzo which only means one thing: Root. Minato doesn’t even know that the possibility his brother will even make it past the training would be virtually nill if not for the fact that he apparently has the swift release kekkei genkai unlike Minato and his sister.

Ever since I have met Minato we have played ninja while rarely training, however we still had to undergo mandatory training under a Chunin every week that taught us several things about being a ninja and of course the third hokage ended up coming and talking about the ‘Will of Fire’ and all that bullshit to brainwash the kids into being loyal to the village. Normally we wouldn’t have to even undergo training as we are afterall only three however the second shinobi war has taken a big number of shinobi’s life which made the hokage push down the age for training down by a year. Normally we would wait until after we were four to enroll at the academy unlike Naruto’s era where they didn’t have to enrol in the academy until they were eight.

Thankfully we still had Uzushiogakure to help but I knew that it wouldn’t last as once the war was over Iwa and Kiri, or was it Kumo? I can’t really remember but I do know that they were attacked by two or three nations together and eliminated before Konoha could help. Timing things, Kushina should be here in about eight to nine years as she joined near Minato’s last years in the academy before he became a genin under Jiraiya.

Right, back to the present.

Jumping to the right to avoid a kunai thrown by Minato and the other ‘Ninja’ as I am the last ‘Bandit’ left. Thanks to my Honto no kokei I don’t have that much trouble as I have something akin to the sharingan where if I focus time seems to slow as my cognitive abilities increase allowing me to see most of the attacks coming my way. Even if my kekkei genkai is unactivated it still has its benefits. It has taken a year before my body could actually respond in that scenario as my brain was working faster than my body could follow which was also the same problem most newbie sharingan users face.

Dodging a kunai heading for my head I twist in the air grabbing five kunai flying past me and then I redirect them increasing their speed hitting most of the kids back. The only one I didn’t hit is Minato as he has the speed to cope although his stamina won’t if he pushes it for longer than fifteen minutes. Even without the swift release that his brother had he was fast in his own right as he could out run most people, in fact if it wasn’t for my eyes I wouldn’t even know what hit me if he ran for a taijutsu approach.

The first time we sparred in taijutsu he used his speed to try and confuse his opponents and then go in for the ‘kill’. However he didn’t account for the fact that I could react to him and ended up face planting it when I side stepped him and tripped him. After that he got a little annoyed that his usual tactics didn’t work and went for a head on spar but I just dodged or redirected his attacks whilst htting his vital spots though not hard, just enough that he will run out of stamina faster as he is after all a Namikaze that are also famed for their vitality like the Uzumaki only just a bit lower however their natural speed well makes up for the difference.

Thanks to our impressive growth compared to the rest of our generation we were paired together and took under a jounin after about two months of training with our chunin sensei. I knew as soon as I saw him that he was some side character that didn’t get bio, which must mean that he would be dead in ether this war or the next. The jounin had light brown hair with hazel brown eyes. He was of average height about 5’9”.

Yeah, so ever since we had that taijutsu spar he prefers to take a long range approach unless he can help it as I just keep doing the same thing as I came to have the mindset that I will become a true assassin where I take my enemies out with one hit whether it be from a kunai, sword or an assassin blade.

Thanks to my direction in life I made my own style where I redirect my opponents hits so they have less to no impact or I can make them have an imperfect balance that I can take advantage of to make a quick strike. If you have ever seen H*st*ry’s str*nge*t dis*iple Ken*chi then it is similar to the seikuken. No one knows it is a technique thanks to it not having any telltale signs except from me becoming extremely good at blocking and dodging which I was anyway but not to the degree I am when using seikuken.

After dodging past the kunai I had thrown at him he takes out ten at the same time, five in each hand, and throws them at me however I just twist in the air again and grab each from the air and then redirect them to different positions cutting off any retreat for Minato. Two kunai to the left slightly spaced apart to account for his speed, two kunai to the right also slightly spaced apart, three kunai heading straight towards him, one for his head, the other for his stomach and then the next one was for his nuts to make him panic. Three kunai went above him so he couldn’t jump, one kunai straight above him and then the other two were diagonally above him on the left and right.

Apart from seikuken I am trying to come up with a way to make that memory partition technique from the Fa*e/Ni*ht Series but so far it has come up unsuccessful so far but I will get it done at some point as the only reason I can only dodge and block with the seikuken anyway is that my brain is too busy trying to process the information it is being sent by seikuken which makes me only able to respond by dodging or parrying attacks.

Thanks to not having any way out and the kunai heading to his nuts he panicked like I expected and but what I didn’t expect was him hitting out with a burst of extreme speed which got him out of range of the attacks which just zoomed past and luckily didn’t hit the other kids in the park as at the speed me and Minato were throwing the kunai would still be lethal for the other kids if aimed at the right place with the right strength.

Panting Minato was near exhaustion from that burst of speed and called out for me to stop as he didn’t have the energy to continue and collapsed on his ass to which I responded by shouting out.

“BANDITS WIIIIIIIN”.

I know what others would probably think of me if they knew that I had the soul of a twenty four year old but the excitement got to me and I couldn’t help it, kid brain remember. Although that may be an excuse by now as I am just genuinely enjoying yself right now I feel like I am back to the old days before becoming a shut in which also helped me form a connection with the other kids as well.

After shouting to my hearts content with the rest of the ‘bandits’ I went over to Minato and offered my hand which he didn’t reject. On his way up though he complained that I don’t play fair and I just retort “would Iwa play fair if you were in the war”. And just like a kid he reacts by saying that we aren’t in the war though sparking a conversation where I drop hints about the third shinobi war but very subtle, so subtle that I would actually be surprised if he picked up on them.

“Bye guys. Me and Minato will be heading back to the orphanage it’s getting kinda late now anyway.” I said to the others before we headed back to which they all just shouted back “Alright”.

Oh yeah, just so you know we were playing with people like Yuhi Kurenai, Sarutobi Asuma, Anko, Teuchi and some of the other kids at the orphanage. But you get the idea I was just playing with future jounin’s of the village.

While walking Minato back to the orphanage I just check my status again as it has become a habit of mine ever since I began training.

‘Hmmm, I’m nearing full chakra again. I know I could break through the gates and palaces right now with the strength of my chakra but my gut is telling me that the later I can put it off the better it’ll be’

‘Naaah, maybe I should just keep compressing my chakra as the chakra I can’t use in my body and spirit gets automatically compressed anyway to match the chakra within my heart and spirit sea.’

While I am also in my own world contemplating whether or not to just break through my chakra gate Minato is also within his own world contemplating on the fight and figuring out how to make himself better. I think that a butterfly effect has already taken place as although Minato was a prodigy he didn’t start showing the prowess he shows now in the anime until his later years in the academy and it was when he joined Jiraiya’s team that his talents were fully utilised and expanded however due to having someone that can match him, if not better than him, Minato trains harder and is showing his talents earlier than he was supposed to.

Thanks to the density of my chakra if a Hyuga were to look at my chakra network it would look like mist was running through me instead of the usual singular particulate, most people mistake it as them seeing liquid like chakra however that is just from the fact that so much chakra runs though our network at the same time that it will look like liquid. The same went for my spirit as the chakra within that was also like a mist that enshrouds it.

Oh yeah, another thing that I noticed was that the sharingan has another power beside their usual ocular powers from the anime and that is that they can see our spirit and it’s chakra because of their affinity for the Yin element, and from what I heard the higher the stage of the sharingan the more clearly they can see and manipulate the spirit, whereas the reason the Hyuga can see people’s bodily chakra is because of their affinity for the Yang element and not just due to their excellent eyesight. And just like in the anime they are constantly fighting for the supremacy of best ocular powers though they often are paired together for their synergy.

‘Huh, I think I have a tick of going ‘Oh yeah’ when I remember something. Look like I have my version of ‘Believe it” I thought as I kept reminiscing of my discoveries over the years.
