Astrid The Hybrid Princess - Chapter 305 There Is Hope
CHAPTER 306
“We heard his outburst and then suddenly everywhere became calm.” Both ladies probed her again and again for an answer and just when she was about opening her mouth to speak, Clive’s door opened with Brad and Damion coming out.
As soon as they saw the three ladies, they hurriedly walked up to them.
“Katrina, I cannot thank you enough.”
“We are indeed grateful.”
“It was nothing,” Katrina replied with a smile on her face.
“Wait, does this mean, he agreed?” Elena asked again. Her confusion was clearly visible on her face.
“Yes, I bet he did,” Sabrina chipped in.
“Yes, he did.” Katrina finally spilt the news to them.
“Yippee!!” Both ladies jumped up in joy. Everyone was happy that it was all okay now.
They could go about their lives peacefully without any problems.

Far in the unknown, Prince Terrence continued his journey with his troop and soon they got to the place where Astrid and Jareth duelled and were captured.
“Your highness,” General Aelfdene called out to Terrence as they surveyed the area.
“I know. Something happened here.” Terrence’s voice resounded from what he was looking at on the ground.
“Yes, Prince Terrence. It looks like a training session happened here.”
Aelfdene was checking the marks on the sand and the footprints left on the ground although now, there were not as fresh and almost cleaned.
“True, but what baffles me are these marks on the ground.”
At his words, Terrence stood up and traced the crack in the earth he was seeing till where it stopped with more cracks and like a hole at the centre of the road.
Aelfdene turned towards him and was about to report something when he noticed the serious look on the prince’s face and followed his line of sight.
“There are signs of struggling on the ground. A battle did of course happen here and who better than the person we are looking for to do it.”
“Your highness.”
“Can’t you see it Aelfdene, this was not caused by some natural means. There is no start from the crack in the earth that looks normal. Why was it only this place, what happened to the other parts around this region?”
Terrence did have a point, so Aelfdene thought but there really could be other explanation to what really happened there. It could be a case of a natural disaster, who knows.
“Perhaps a mild earthquake,” Aelfdene suggested.
“And we weren’t aware? If it was an earthquake, why did the other parts not have the same or similar cracks? Come on Aelfdene, you know I am right.”
Terrence tried to make him see reason as to why none of what happened there was normal.
“What about the training? If she was training here, I do not think she would be struggling here. Cause the struggle looks intense from the dent marks on the ground.
“So what does this mean, your highness? Do you think she was ambushed and captured?”
“I think so. She trained here before but was later ambushed and subsequently captured.”
“But we do not know the race that has her now.” Aelfdene dropped the nail on their head. He spoke the truth. If she was captured, it could be anyone or race.
There was no way for them to know which race had her and where they took her to.
“There is hope, see.” He pointed to a mark on the ground. “I think they were dragged away. Let us follow the trail marks, we would hopefully get a good lead.”
“I agree with you,” Aelfdene added. “Soldiers, prepare to move out.”
‘Isadora, the days are coming closer. I would find you.’ Terrence thought to himself and went to climb on his horse.

~SORCERER’SLAND~
True to what Jareth said, he began his training with Astrid. Teaching her how to fight with the sword and some hand to hand combat.
It was already afternoon and he refused to let her off. They trained and trained till she stubbornly took her break by herself.
“Get your ass back up, Astrid.”
Astrid frowned her face at him and shook her head. “Lt us take like a two hours break and start again in the evening.”
“Lazy girl. How do you plan on beating me in a duel if you cannot increase your stamina and train well?”
“You intend of killing me first right? I am sorry, Jareth. I need to rest and eat something.”
“No. You can take a five minutes short break. Nothing more. Get back up on your feet.”
“Make me.”
‘Urgh! This daring, stubborn girl! Why does she love to test my patience huh? Cant, she just be obedient for once?’ Jareth lamented to himself.
Astrid folded her arms in front of her chest as she stared at him. She was going to have her way and there was nothing he could do about it.
“Please do not be stubborn and get up.”
“You are bullying me. I want to rest.”
“What kind of student are you?” Jareth asked her and came to stand in front of where she sat.
“The best actually. I need to recover my strength. We do not want what happened the last time to happen again, do we?”
He knew what she was talking about. The day they got ambushed but that was a different case and it was because of her.
“You cause it. If you had erected the barrier as I said.”
“Are you blaming me?”
“Who was I to blame before?”
She dropped her arms and stood up so she was looking him in the eyes and see if he dared to say that again.
Jareth knew what she was doing and could only shake his head in his mind.
“You caused it. If you had listened to me…”
