Astrid The Hybrid Princess - Chapter 308 Blazed Astrid
CHAPTER 308
“Astrid… I am sorry,” he apologized one last time.
He could hear her grunt, like she was fighting with herself. He could see it in her eyes as they reverted back, changing every now and then, back and forth.
She was fighting, fighting with herself and that was why she still had not burnt him yet but he could feel the heat emanating from her body. She was hot, so hot.
‘I hope this works or I am a goner.’
With that thought set, Jareth leaned in and pressed his lips to hers, sealing them with a slow, pleading kiss.
At that moment, Snow walked into the cleared path where they were training only to be met with a confusing scene.
Jareth was kissing Astrid whose hands were set ablaze and looked like she was struggling with herself not to burn him there and then.
“Master! Oh no!”
Meanwhile, as Jareth was kissing Astrid, nothing was changing. His mind was going bonkers with what to do.
‘Come on, come on Astrid, please come back. Come back to me.’ Jareth pleaded in his mind.
Suddenly he felt as though he was in her mind and she could hear him. He was shocked by the new feeling as both their eyes were closed and he could see her in his mind.
His heartbeat rate increased and he began to feel uneasy. This had never happened, never had he been in her mind or was it that she was in his mind. Whichever one, Jareth couldn’t tell exactly.
But the moment he took a step forward in her direction, something like a tall gate dropped in front of him, separating him from her.
“Astrid,” he called her name softly. “Astrid! Astrid, open your eyes, control it!” He yelled at her this time around, hoping to break her out of whatever was going on.
Hearing that familiar voice, Astrid’s eyes shot open at that time. He felt his heartbeat begin to calm down and he placed his hand on it to call for her once more.
“Astrid!”
At the same time, a certain forced suddenly pushed him away from her mind. In reality, he felt a strong force, like the wild wind was sent howling at him and flung him far from her.
Snow who had been watching the whole thing happened, reacted in time when he saw Astrid’s hand no longer set ablaze but was surrounded by a swirling wind.
But before he got to where they went, Jareth was already pushed away by the wind. Quickly, he jumped and stayed at the back of Jareth, so that he could act as a support for him to land on rather than hitting his head against the nearby tree.
Both of them fell to the ground in a heap. Snow was extremely tired from the impact with Jareth while Jareth managed to sit up with his hand holding his head as an immense pain, followed but a sharp ringing coursed through his brain.
“Arrghhh!”
It was nothing like he had felt before, but few breaths later, the pain began to subside and the ringing eventually stopped.
Quickly, he leapt forward and caught her just before her body touched the ground.
He felt her hot she was and removed his hands from her body one at a time while still trying to support her frame and help her relax against his chest.
Minutes later, her body temperature cooled down and she wasn’t as hurt as she was prior. Snow finally got up and walked over to where they were.
He was still finding it hard to believe all these happened within the short while he was gone.
He had initially decided to take a little stroll and check out the place for himself as he was getting bored with their training, only for him to return and meet her in such a state.
Immediately he saw what was happening, he knew Jareth must have done something wrong to trigger her going berserk and tried to calm her down through their mind link but found out she shut him out.
He tried and tried several times, but little Snow just could not get through to her. Then he decided to try and break them apart since Jareth was not seeing the danger he was in as at that time.
Before he could get to his destination, the deed had already been done and Jareth was thrown backwards.
Snow saw the impending danger and how he would have slammed hard into the tree behind them, that was why he jumped up without thinking and acted as a soft pillow for Jareth to land on.
He looked at Astrid with eyes full of sorrow. He did not know what had gone wrong and he wanted to ask Jareth but he could not communicate with him.
Instead, he stayed close to his master and nuzzled his face against hers before looking up at Jareth with a questioning gaze.
She would be alright, I think.”
In as much as he wanted to give Snow a favourable answer, he just could not as he too wasn’t sure what was going to happen.
At that moment, he wished he had not provoked her, then perhaps all of this would not have happened.
Slowly, he carried her in his arms and took her to a soft patch of grass under a tree, then carefully laid her down to sleep.
He went to get their things and used her cloak as a pillow for her and his, to cover her up to her stomach, then sat down beside her.
Today was really a stressful day for him and that was not because he trained her but because of their heated session.
This really was the definition of heated and not what they did before.
u003cAuthor: What you guys did was a steamy session, baby and not heaty.u003e
