Avoid Yandere Constellation - Chapter 42-1
“What did you say?”
At Kane’s words, Kim Soo-yong pointed to himself with wide eyes.
Kane nodded in response. “Yeah, you.”
“Why are they after me?”
‘”I don’t know. These fanatics are unpredictable. Anyway, they said they’re targeting you.”
‘Hmm…why would these cultists be after me? Could it be because they found out I’m from another world? That’s the only explanation that makes sense.
In this world, being from another world is quite special. And besides that, there’s no other reason for them to come after me.
But how do they know that I’m from another world? Only the Constellation and my Master know my true identity. No one else should know…wait. I shouldn’t have that fixed mindset that only those two know.
When I first arrived here, I spoke in Korean. A group like the church with their vast network could easily investigate and find out that I’m from another world.’
Kim Soo-yong looked serious as he thought about this.
“Hey, why are you so serious?”
Kane’s words brought him out of his thoughts.
“Oh, sorry. I was just thinking. So, where were we?”
“So, I say you should do the first evaluation.”
“Huh? Why? Shouldn’t we tell the professors that they are planning a terrorist attack?”
If we tell them, it could put me in a difficult position.
“Think about it. It’s common sense that even if we say to professors or academic staff, no one will believe us. Rather we would get scolded for talking nonsense.”
“That makes sense. But why do we have to go through the first evaluation?”
“Well, basically, because the first evaluation will attract some talented people. Then, if those fanatics from church causes trouble, we’ll be in a better position to deal with it. don’t you think?”
“Yeah, that’s definitely true. Alright, then I’ll convince my teammates and move on to the first evaluation. I’ll leave now.”
With that, Kim Soo-Yong left the room.
***
Once again, it’s time for a performance evaluation. The only difference from last time is that this time, I’ve prepared potions through Karen.
Life is precious, after all.
By the way, nothing seems to have changed much, except for the fact that some of the students who were supposed to have a second evaluation had their group changed with the addition of Skaya’s group.
Except for the fact that I persuaded (Seduced?) Skaya, I haven’t really interfered much in the future, so it’s not surprising.
Now, is Kim Soo-Yong here? I’m looking around to make sure he didn’t disappear.
Thankfully, he’s here with his group members, Laine, the heroine of the game, and Burke, the protagonist’s rival.
Wait a minute. While I was scanning Kim Soo-Yong’s group members, I noticed Eileen staring at me with narrowed eyes.
“Kane, do you like that kind of style?”
“Huh? What are you talking about all of a sudden?”
“…”
Upon my question, Eileen hesitated with a puzzled face, not knowing what to say.
What do you want to say that makes you react like that?
[Goddess of Destiny asks if you like such cute girls.]
… Ah, is that what you meant?
I just looked to see If Kim Soo-Yong came, but from their point of view, it seems like they were mistaken for being fascinated by Laine’s beauty.
Well, Laine is definitely cute, with her golden hair that falls down to her waist, round and shiny eyes, and adorable features with a puppy face.
To be honest, it’s not my style.
I prefer a more mature and alluring style than that cute and innocent look.
“I understand what you’re thinking. I like a more mature and alluring style than cute girls.”
“For example, who do you like?”
“Umm, you Eileen?”
“Ack?!”
Upon my words, she bit her tongue and blushed. Her expression changed from dull to cheerful with a smile slowly spreading across her face.
Pretending not to see her reaction, I continued speaking.
“Also, there’s Riche and the Saint anje, who are incredibly beautiful. Who else? Oh! Skaya too.”
“Ah, yes… that’s right.”
As soon as I finished talking, Eileen answered with a cold expression.
Wow, I’ve never seen Eileen make that kind of face before. I’ve seen her blank expression, or looking surprised or embarrassed, but I’ve never seen her look at me with such disdainful eyes.
Wait, did she get that serious? I was just kidding.
[Goddess of Destiny asks why you didn’t mention me.]
Would you do it if you were in my shoes?
I admit that the Constellation’s beauty isn’t inferior to them, but it’s also not a good idea to openly declare that the Goddess of Destiny is my type when there are so many priests around.
If I speak too carelessly, I might be accused of blasphemy and burned at stake.
“Students gather here.”
While I was having these ridiculous thoughts, William called us over.
And so, the evaluation began.

As soon as the evaluation began, we went outside the barrier boundary.
“Kane, if it gets dangerous, make sure to…”
“Don’t worry. If it gets dangerous, I’ll transfer right away and come here.”
“Okay, got it. Be careful.”
“Hey, if you feel like you’re going to die, just shout out Eileen’s name loudly, and she’ll definitely come running to save youuuu!”
Before Jenny finished speaking, Eileen covered her mouth, blushing, and they went in opposite directions.
Anyway, she allowed it. In the previous chapter, they were together. But this time Eileen had suggested going alone, giving a plausible reason.
She knew that separating and acting alone would be better for their performance evaluation scores than being together.
I thought Eileen would refuse based on her previous behavior, but she reluctantly agreed without a counterargument.
Anyway, now it’s time for me to do my job…
