Avoid Yandere Constellation - Chapter 62-2
I woke up from my daydream and looked at my Clone.
“So, restoring my memories means you found out something?” I asked.
“Yeah, I’ll explain it to you,” my Clone replied.
After hearing all the explanations from my Clone, I trembled.
“Damn. I feel so ashamed,” I said.
The reason why I was trembling had nothing to do with the assassin.
Frankly, it didn’t matter much to me that the assassin turned out to be Franchi.
The reason why I was feeling ashamed was that I got caught dressed as a woman by the Constellation.
Though, I was prepared for this when I made the plan, but hearing it from my Clone made me feel embarrassed.
“Okay, let’s forget about that and focus on how we’re going to deal with the assassin,” I said.
“Okay.” My Clone replied.
So, my Clone and I brainstormed various ideas for about an hour and decided on a plan.
“Then, let’s contact Kim Soo-yong first,” I said.

The next day, I walked into the waiting room for the grade tournament finals.
When I entered the waiting room, there was only one person there, Jenny, unlike yesterday.
Jenny smirked at me and said, “Hey, why don’t you just cheat for real?”
“Hey, shut up, you’ll get us caught.”
“No, I mean, just pretend to fight and then let yourself win at the end.”
I also wanted to do that.
In my heart, I wanted to follow the method that Jenny suggested, but I had already used that method in the previous round.
Moreover, the quest was in progress even after the match, which meant that even a slight trickery could prevent me from clearing the quest.
Looking back, it was thanks to quest progress that I didn’t resort to any tricks this round.
Normally, I would have resorted to tricks and fought with Jenny to lose my memory.
But I felt something was wrong with the system, so there was no need to do that.
Anyway, since she kept taunting me, I needed to provoke her too.
“You scared?”
“Do you think I’ll fall for such a lame provocation?”
“So, you’re scared?”
Jenny, who was usually a dealer, had become a tank in this game.
Her face turned slightly red as she found my taunts a bit irritating.
“Ugh, you know it’s a provocation. Why are you so annoying?”
“Alright, I’ll stop. It’s not your fault for being scared of my skills, so I’ll go easy on you.”
“Hmph, can you handle it?”
Jenny’s question made me smirk.
“What do you mean ‘handle it’?”
“Ugh, you’re making such an annoying face on purpose. If you lose to me, you’ll be screwed for at least a year.”
“Nah~ that won’t happen.”
As I said this with a smirk, Jenny grabbed me by the collar and shook me.
Jenny’s reaction was quite fresh.
She usually teases Eileen, who was easy to provoke, but now that she had become the one on the receiving end, she seemed to have a sense of impact.
While I was being grabbed by the collar, William opened the waiting room door and said.
“Come out, both of you.”
“Okay, got it.”
After hearing that, we left the waiting room.

While Kane and Jenny were changing into their protective suits at the stadium, there was a group of people in the audience watching them.
“Who do you think will win? Eileen?”
“Hmm.”
Eileen closed her eyes and pondered Skaya’s question.
Riche, Kersey, and Skaya eagerly awaited Eileen’s response.
After three more seconds in that state, Eileen slowly opened her eyes and spoke.
“If what Kane showed us yesterday was all he’s got, then I think Jenny will win.”
“Really?”
To Skaya’s question, Eileen nodded her head.
It was true that Kane’s performance yesterday was impressive as he overwhelmed Dylan and the other participants.
However, Eileen thinks it would be difficult for Kane to beat Jenny with just that level of skill.
Although Jenny tends to not show her abilities during training, she is considered one of the strongest among first-year students, excluding top students.
Assuming Jenny is in perfect condition, Eileen believes that even she might get hit by one of her attacks if she lets her guard down.
That’s how good Jenny’s skills are, and she can’t be underestimated.
Upon hearing Eileen’s explanation, Skaya and Riche were somewhat surprised.
“I knew she had some skills, having watched her since the first semester, but this is somewhat unexpected.”
“Exactly. I always saw her as someone who would tease you all the time, but now it’s like I’m hearing about a completely different person.”
Riche and Eileen nodded their heads in agreement.
“So, Eileen, you think Kane will lose, right?”
“Um…yes. Well, that’s how I feel.”
As if she couldn’t help it, Eileen just explained in detail why Kane would lose.
Skaya turned her head to Riche and asked.
“Riche, who do you think will win?”
“Of course it’s obvious that Young Master Kane will win. Unlike anyone else, I believe in him.” Riche replied.
“Y-yes..?”
Eileen was taken aback by Riche’s sudden attack.
However, before she could defend herself, Skaya chimed in with agreement.
“Me too. I trust Kane, who learned magic from me. I bet on Kane to win.”
Caught off guard by another blow, Eileen was momentarily stunned.
Then, Kersey finished the blow.
“I’ve seen the Master’s recent skill firsthand, so I think he’ll win!”
“Euk!”
At Kersey’s conclusion, Eileen blushed and trembled as she shouted out.
“M-me too! I believe Kane will win!”

Meanwhile, at that time.
Jenny and I chuckled when we heard Eileen’s outburst.
“Hey, why is your ex-girlfriend over there acting like that by herself?”
“I don’t know. But I don’t really care to find out.”
He had a point, as the conversation seemed obviously meaningless.
Anyway, what was important was the plan.
In order to kill the assassin who was after me, I had to do my best in this fight.
I made a ‘Deal’ with Jenny in the previous round, but until the final showdown, we showed a desire to win against each other.
So, here, too, I had to show a tired appearance to lure the assassin.
Plus, I had to win and earn points.
In conclusion, I didn’t have time to think about the meaningless conversation of Eileen and others.
While I was thinking that, William approached us, explaining the final rules while Jenny had completely suited up in her protective gear.
“In the final, there will be three rounds of combat, unlike the previous matches. The first person to win two rounds wins the match. Any questions?”
At his question, Jenny raised her hand with her usual bright smile.
“Professor, is there no break time after one round of the match?”
“There is a five-minute break. However, during that time, potion and artifact usage are prohibited.”
Upon hearing his words, we nodded.
William looked at us each once and said,
“Then I assume there are no more questions.”
With that, William moved away from us.
At the same time, the sound of the match starting rang out.
Thus began a real battle with Jenny, not a plan or deception for points.
