Awakened: Evolving to Godhood - Chapter 336 GRABBING FREYA
Zerrick had SS-grade cells, level 8 cells, so to say. His supernatural ability was more like Elliot’s authority of life. He had control over space itself, and he could proudly proclaim himself the master of space.
After all, the level 8 cells that he had integrated with the very fiber of his being gave him the strongest supernatural power that allowed him to mend space manipulate it as he wished, and he could even go as far as to open a spatial tunnel to outer space or instantly teleport himself and everything and everyone he was in contact with at the time of teleportation to the desired location. Also, Elliot knew that he could pull himself into another dimension too.
So, Zerrick could really do what he was saying!
He eagerly looked at Elliot.
Under his gaze, Elliot coughed in embarrassment and stayed still on his spot.
“I’ve never seen the spider queen, so I can’t picture her in my mind to make your magic work. But there is no need for you to feel downcast. I do know of a person who might have, so there’s still a way to reach her.”
Elliot hurled the embarrassed expression on his face to the back of his mind and beamed at his new corporate slave.
“How about we go to her first?”
He had a first-grade ride, and if he didn’t use it, again and again, to experience what it feels like, then he would indeed be a fool.
His gaze made Zerrick feel like Elliot was taking advantage of him, but he wasn’t sure of it, so he didn’t voice his thoughts out loud, lest he made the latter feel offended once again.
“Alright, I will take you to her. But before we go, I would like to say some words to my pets here.”
After saying that to Elliot, Zerrick turned to his four pets.
Each one of them looked back at him with wide-opened eyes. Elliot could see immense respect and adoration in their eyes.
“You four go back to your post and reinforce the barrier sealing the black calamity to the best of your abilities. And also, you all must remain in communication with each other. I don’t think anyone will be coming to this world, but there’s still a chance that someone might manage to break past the barrier I’ve set up and come here. The leftover filthy minions of the black calamity might take advantage of my absence to sneak into the twilight forest. If so, do not hesitate to kill him. If something goes wrong and the opponent is too strong for the four of you to handle, then don’t be stubborn and use the telepathic communication we share between us to inform me about it instantly.”
Zerrick was the one who had raised all four of them, and so he was too familiar with their character. He knew that these four were the type who would fight to the death but not ask him for help because they didn’t want to trouble him. But he didn’t want them to die, for they were less like his pet and more like his children, his only family in the vast universe.
“We understand, master.”
“We will follow your command word to word.”
“You can rest assured.”
“I will keep little blue in check and not let him make a mess. You can count on me, master.”
“I will obey, big sister.”
In response, the pets acted cutely, and the mighty lion even purred like a cat.
Elliot heard what Zerrick said to his four pets, and then everything made sense to him.
An apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
There was no denying that Zerrick had a big hand behind the brutal and rampant nature of the blue-flame empyrean lion.
If he had raised the other with some sensibility, then he wouldn’t have attacked him the moment he appeared here, much less acted highly arrogant.
Zerrick turned around to look at Elliot, then said, “Let’s go.”
As he was ten or so thousand years old and Elliot respected his elders, he walked up to him without any complaint after saying, “Okay.”
After bridging the distance between them, Elliot grabbed the edge of his clothes and pictured Freya, the kingdom-toppling beauty, in his mind.
The next moment, their figure blurred, and they appeared next to the undead monster who was acting as Freya’s steed.
Kayn, Elliot’s trustworthy undead brethren and subordinate, was able to stop himself immediately, saving himself from crashing into his master, who suddenly arrived in front of him with an unknown man. However, because he stopped too abruptly, Freya, who was not expecting it, lost her balance and found herself shooting towards the ground.
But before she could fall to the ground, Elliot grabbed her hand and, with a backhand pull, gently yanked her into his embrace.
What Freya feared didn’t happen.
Instead of her head hitting on the ground, she found herself in a familiar and warm embrace.
The warmth coming out of the man’s body was too enticing for her.
She snuggled into his embrace subconsciously.
Her bodily scent was sweet. Elliot expected Nothing less from a member of the dark elf race, who were known for their seductiveness and beautiful bodies. Smelling her sweetness was making his head cloudy, but he shook all dirty thoughts from his mind as he was running against time and needed to return home fast. Or else, he will disappoint his soon-to-be-wife.
“How long are you going to keep on hugging me?” Elliot asked while looking at her face, which was more beautiful than a sky full of stars.
After hearing his voice, she realized that the person she was subconsciously snuggling with was her God.
She snapped out of her daze instantly and stopped snuggling him.
“Please forgive me for my rude behavior.” She said as she blushed.
Before Elliot could say a thing, Zerrick opened his mouth first; “Little girl, you weren’t rude at all. From what I saw, I think he liked you hugging him. Who knows, maybe he has feelings for you, hu, hu, hu.”
