Xie Yang knew about a few ways to determine the position of the secret spirit realm.

The spiritual energy becomes extremely dense in an area where the secret realm opens up.

While traveling with the four members of the black unicorn sect, Xie Yang activated the spiritual communication technique. The view in his eyes changed. He was able to see spiritual energy present in nature. Near him, the spiritual energy was in the shape of dots. His scrutinizing gaze roamed far and wide. He saw thick blue fog surrounding an area 3 kilometers away from his current position. Not only that, but he also saw blue streams of spiritual energy charging towards that very spot.

‘The entrance to the secret spirit realm must be there!’ Xie Yang excitedly thought before he sprinted towards that place with such speed that he left the level 6 Chen Yuan, the level 3 Mao Yue, Tang Yongnian, and Mo Mingzhu in the dust.

“Follow me! I think I have found where your sect members have disappeared to.”

After hearing what he said, the four people ran after him. It took a couple of minutes for them to reach that place. This part of the golden woodlands was different from the other areas. The trees were thick and tall, and their canopies blanketed the sky and the rays of the sun. They cast huge shadows on the ground below, causing the entire area to appear dark and eerie. Just looking at it made them feel scared, and they thought that going ahead wouldn’t be a good idea.

Xie Yang, though, strode into the dark lands without any hesitation as in his eyes, this place wasn’t dark but extremely bright.

The four looked at his figure that was getting further and further away from them. He hadn’t disappeared from their field of vision when they gritted their teeth and followed after him.

‘I finally found it!’

Xie Yang had to walk for a couple of minutes before he saw a tree with swirling darkness in its center. Standing behind him were the four members of the black unicorn sect. When they saw the vast hole in the tree whose tip rose high into the sky, their mouth gaped open so wide that it was easy for anyone to put a dozen eggs in their mouth. They gawked at the darkness in the center of the trunk of the tree like there was no tomorrow. It was their first time seeing such a thing and their reaction was just as Xie Yang expected

“This is?” Mo Mingzhu asked in a bewildered voice after swallowing nervously.

Xie Yang turned towards them and looked at them with narrowed eyes before saying in a voice thickened with excitement, “The entrance to a newly formed secret spirit realm that no one has registered under their name.”

When his gaze landed on them, a few of them didn’t know why but they felt a shiver creeping up their spine.

“You took us here because you believe our juniors have disappeared into it?” Chen Yuan asked.

Xie Yang nodded his head and opened his mouth to utter the following words, “I saw many footsteps belonging to humans while on my way here. You know what that means, right? Curiosity must have gotten better of them.”

They didn’t want to believe that their juniors were greedy and foolish enough to go inside a secret spirit realm without informing their sect first or gathering a team of cultivators.

A secret realm was a vast place, and although it had a mouth salivating level of treasures, it was full of life-threatening dangers. Going in such a place with a few cultivators of levels 1 and 2 was like committing suicide.

“Won’t we know after searching for them inside?” Tang Yongnian spoke as glints of eagerness flashed in his snake-like eyes.

Xie Yang had come all the way here not just to return but to explore it. After telling them that it was up to them whether they wanted to follow him or not, he headed inside. Tang Yongnian said, “I’m going ahead first,” before chasing after Xie Yang. The remaining three discussed with each other for less than thirty seconds before jumping into the swirling darkness. They wanted to find their Juniors or any signs that they actually went inside the secret realm, so they had decided to explore it too.

After striding into the swirling darkness, Xie Yang, found himself teleported into a cave. It was wet, and the water reached up to his ankles. The water was black and had a putrid stench to it. His brows drew together as he thought that this must be a terrifying place.

He didn’t turn around to go back and instead ran straight towards the danger and treasure he believed lay ahead.

He had a lot of stamina, and he wasn’t feeling tired, so he didn’t mind putting his muscles to good use.

It was only after running for a while that he came across an area with fleshless corpses somewhat submerged in the water.

There were torches attached to the cave walls, and they lit up in blue flames the moment Xie Yang appeared.

‘Why are there so many monsters bones in this place?’

‘And why did the torches lit up as soon as I appeared?’

“Too spooky.”

Xie Yang heard the creaking sounds and saw the skeletons protruding out of the water. Some of them had swords and other kinds of sharp weapons in their inhumane hands; some of them held nothing, but he still took them as dangerous as they had claws.

The skeleton monster nearest to Xie Yang made its move first.

It jumped towards Xie Yang and slashed its sword at him, but Xie Yang took a step back with confidence and even the tip of the sword failed to scratch his skin or leave a mark on his robe.

“What the heck are these demonic creatures?”

The shocked voice of Tang Yongnian came from behind him.

“If you have the time to shout, then help me out.”

Xie Yang spat those words at him as he dodged another attack from the skeleton warrior. This time, however, he launched an attack of his own. His sword landed on the skeleton warrior’s head.

The bone on its head had a dark spherical symbol.

Xie Yang didn’t know what it was, but that part of its body stood out to him.

He wondered whether it was the weak point of the skeleton warrior or not.

Thus, he intentionally attacked there.

He used a lot of force to swing his sword, so his sword managed to shatter its head in one hit.

The moment the bone with the black symbol on it shattered, the entire skeleton warrior seemed to have lost all its strength.

Its body split apart into hundreds of bones, and each one fell into the water.
