No one expected someone to launch an attack on the hideous skeleton monster, not the humans nor the creature in concern.

It looked terrifying.

The cherry on top of the cake was that they could see a pale grey aura that carried the smell of death rising from its white bones and twirling around its colossal figure.

Because of its oppressive pressure that acted on them and its very figure, the members of the black unicorn sect remained rooted in their place, making not even a single action.

They were so still that a person could mistake them for statues.

Xie Yang, though, had enough guts to take action and make the hideous creature regret speaking instead of acting.

It hadn’t experienced such a situation before.

Never in its entire life had a person so confidently attacked it in the middle of its speech.

Unlike the humans it had come across in the past, Xie Yang hadn’t attacked it out of fear; it could tell that that was the truth.

Instead, he had attacked it out of the utter contempt he held for it in his heart.

It could feel that the human with black hair was looking down at it.

The emotion in Xie Yang’s black eyes told it that he unwelcomed its existence itself.

It has seen many people being appalled by its demeanor, terrified by its words, and scared by its figure; however, this was its first time seeing someone expressing towards it only disdain and not a hint of other emotion.

“I’ll have you know, what I hate most are pests who disturb my speech and believe they are better than me, bastards like you. The last one who did so begged for death after being unable to stand my torture! After I finish subduing you, I will let you experience a nightmare so, so terrifying that you’ll lose your sanity and then your soul!”

Xie Yang released another spiritual energy bullet.

For Xie Yang caught it off guard once again, it failed to dodge it

The spiritual bullet wiped out the abyssal light in one of its eyes.

In the past, although many humans had attacked it once, none had dared launch an attack at it a second time.

It saw Xie Yang smiling proudly like a warrior who had done a good deed of purging the land of talkative evil.
