Batman In MCU - Chapter 32
“so your plan is to barge in during the auction.” T-Chaka asked Batman who was seated before his computer.
“Indeed” was Batman’s response, “why not look for him now?” Black panther asked confused as to why they weren’t on the streets looking for Klaue.
“I’m busy”, seeing as Batman wasn’t going to say anything more T-Chaka walked off to go practice whlie mumbling something that sounded an awful lot like annoying Bat.
Batman took one glance and at him before ignoring him, the bat cave’s security was enough to prevent the cat from going to places where he shouldn’t be.
Back to his computer, Bats was engrossed searching for this new bat person. Now not that he wasn’t flattered that someone took up his mantle but he wasn’t just going to let some wannabe roam the streets and perhaps even ruin his reputation if not die.
But so far he hadn’t gained anything just that he realised some cases in the police file which were said to have been solved by him were definitely not and we’re likely to be the doings of the new bat.
At an old apartment, Batman was now scouting out the place to see if he could find any clues leading to the identity of the new bat.
“Why are you following me?” Bats turned to face the Black panther who for some reason was still following him. “I want to find Klaue, you want to find this new bat. I help you find them the quicker we get to finding my guy.”
They both remained in silence staring at one another before the bat turned away ignoring him. Activating his scanners embedded in his helmet he began to scan the place.
Soon finding a piece of kevlar behind some wreckage he picked it up, a further scan revealed it was standard police issue used in making bullet proof vests for officers.
At this point, there was some patterns he couldn’t ignore, going after people based of police info, kevlar meant for officers it was time he paid ol George a visit.
Batman, stood across the street watching George’s home. “I don’t see the reason we are stalking the police captain.” T-Chaka spoke up causing Bats to get annoyed handing over a drive to him he spoke up, “this drive contains information on mob bosses who would probably be interested in said weapons.”
“you had this all this while?” “I told you I was busy.” at that moment Bats got sight of something from the conner of his eyes. A figure was making their way out of a window.
With a closer look it was none other than the new bat. Batman had a smirk on his face as he followed after her leaving the black panther on the roof.
Gwen had snuck out after making sure everyone was asleep. Gwen was determined to find where those crazy weapons came from, also she was curious as to who the other guy as well as the bald ladies who had knocked her out.
Gwen was deep in her thoughts when the Batman suddenly appeared before her, “you’re coming with me”
Gwens eyes opened wide disbelieving, she couldn’t believe the batman was right before her, “erhm…hello batman… sir, I’m a big fan of yours and you inspired me to where this and…and I’m gonna shut up now.”
“who are you?” Batman’s voice broke the awkward silence forming once more, “oh yeah, I’m… I’m, Ghost bat yeah Ghost bat”
Batman stared Gwen down before speaking up, “Go home, Gwen the streets of new York is no place to fool around, the bat symbol on your ċhėst is nothing but a target.” After his words he turned to leave.
Gwen stood stunned, how did he know her name nevermimd that what did he mean, was he saying she wasn’t good enough.
Gwen was extremely annoyed, she rushed at the bat whose back was turned to her but he avoided it at the right moment, “don’t look down on me.” with that the batman had a small smirk on his face as Gwen continued rushing him with everything at her disposal.
Batman kept blocking her attack, while analysing her movements checking just how good she was.. Gwen realising her attacks weren’t working she released a batarang which the bat tilted his head to avoid before continuing to exchange blows when he ducked and rolled avoiding the batarang which had flown back into her arms as she got into a stance to keep up this battle that determined if she was good enough.
