Beastly Fēi That Goes Against the Heaven: Coerced by the Huáng Shū - Chapter 187
“It’s about national affairs, you don’t have to know the details.” Xiao Chen said coldly, his face getting much paler. “Stay with me, you’re not going anywhere.”
“What?” Jing Yue looked at Xiao Chen. He frowned and closed his eyes, seemingly very tired; but his hand still held her tight, which made Jing Yue frown. She had no choice but to sit beside him. ‘You’ve got hurt because of me; I can endure this,’ thought Jing Yue to herself.
Xiao Chen sank into a deep sleep, while Jing Yue was also yawning. Finally, she couldn’t withstand the sleepiness and fell asleep at the edge of the bed. However, she didn’t sleep well this night. In her dream, Xiao Chen and Helian Xiu showed up alternatively.
“Hmm…”Jing Yue opened her eyes in befuddlement, realizing both her arms were numb.
“Oh… I can’t feel my hands…”Jing Yue moved her arms; and immediately a burst of tingling spread, which made Jing Yue unconsciously twist her face.
“Hello!” Xiao Chen squinted at her, while she was swinging her arms.
“It’s your fault for holding my hand all night so that I didn’t sleep well,” said Jing Yue with her sad, crinkled eyes.
“…”Xiao Chen looked down at his hand which still held hers tight.
Jing Yue looked at Xiao Chen’s vacant look, and suddenly veins throbbed fiercely in her temples. It seemed that he forgot what had happened last night.
‘Oh my god, it’s really annoying!’
Xiao Chen was injured. This was a big thing to all the people in the Mansion.
Jing Yue was ordered by Xiao Chen to stay close with him. And this was so bad to her. Besides, she and Yin Qiao had to take care of Xiao Chen, since there was no other girl available in this Mansion currently!
“Can’t you eat it by yourself? You haven’t hurt your hands!” complained Jing Yue, holding a bowl of hot porridge beside Xiao Chen.
“No, I can’t,” answered Xiao Chen in a solemnity.
Ahhhh!
It drove her crazy!
‘You can’t?! Then what do you pull my sleeve with? With your pig’s feet?’
“Feed me.” Xiao Chen kept staring at her.
“Okay, I FEED YOU!” said Jing Yue, gnashing her teeth. ‘You’ve got hurt because of me, so I can endure this,’ thought Jing Yue to herself.
Jing Yue scooped up some hot porridge and put it into Xiao Chen’s mouth. But he didn’t open his mouth. They stared at each other but said nothing. Then Jing Yue looked at the bowl of porridge, saying, “There is no poison here, open your mouth!”
“Too hot,” uttered Xiao Chen. Jing Yue became livid when hearing these two words.
Saying nothing, Jing Yue consoled herself in her heart, ‘I can endure this!’
Jing Yue blew the porridge and made it a little cooler for him to eat. Feeding him was like a torture to her, and worst of all, this torture would last for MANY days!
Since Xiao Chen got injured, he no longer dealt with official duties, but kept all day with Jing Yue, which even made her doubt about his injury. ‘No, he’s not injured but haunted by evil!’
“Sit well! Xiao Chen!” Jing Yue forced Xiao Chen to look at her. He frowned with discontent but wouldn’t let her go. He clamped her fast with his legs and made her unable to move. Jing Yue was totally pissed off.
“Don’t you remember you are injured? Sit well!” said Jing Yue in an angry voice while staring at Xiao Chen’s straight face.
