Beastly Fēi That Goes Against the Heaven: Coerced by the Huáng Shū - Chapter 197
“Huh…” Watching the tiger tremble on the ground, Jing Yue stopped smasher attack and stood up.
“You…” Jing Lang saw the tiger lying on the ground and found him speechless for a long time.
Jing Yue turned her head suddenly and stared at him. Jing Lang was shaking and felt the one standing before him not a human-being but a powerful, frightening beast.
There was no warmth in these cold, green eyes.
Jing Lang was stiff and suddenly grasped the long sword in his hand. He noticed the green in her eyes become darker and darker, and finally turned into black. He took a sigh of relief and was about to do something. All of a sudden, Jing Yue closed her eyes and fell down .
“Jing Yue!” Jing Lang was shocked and rushed to catch her falling body.
As soon as Jing Yue passed out, the rescuer came finally. The other two tigers were also subdued and were tied up. Xiao Chen was relieved that no one was injured, until he saw Jing Lang run to him in panic, with Jing Yue in Jing Lang’s arms.
“What happened to her!” Xiao Chen looked at the insensible Jing Yue, and his face changed suddenly. He stared at Jing Lang with anger as if he was going to kill someone in the next second.
“I don’t know, she seems to be asleep.” Jing Lang frowned sternly at Xiao Chen.
“Asleep?” Xiao Chen’s breath was slightly stagnated. He looked at Jing Yue carefully and found that there was no injury on her. She was really in a deep sleep. Then he relieved slowly and raised his arm to take her over. Jing Lang, however, held her tighter unconsciously.
Xiao Chen squinted at Jing Lang in a cold gaze with hidden warning.
Jing Lang shuddered, struggled for a while and then released his hand slowly. “Take care of her.” He said and watched Xiao Chen hold Jing Yue in his arms carefully.
“I will.” Xiao Chen said in a cold voice, and left with Jing Yue. Jing Lang stood there with a perplexing look and Jing Yue’s green eyes still lingered in his mind.
The final winner of this hunting was neither Xiao Chen nor Xiao Jingran, but Helian Xiu. Because the three tigers appeared in the hunting ground and almost hurt people, this incident made the emperor Xiao Ye angry.
He ordered a strict investigation into the cause but the only result they got was that the iron net surrounding the hunting ground was lax, which led to the entrance of wild animals. What was more, the guards of the hunting ground were too lazy to make a thorough check. This poor guy ended in prison and lost his head .
When Jing Yue woke up, the first thing she saw was her familiar bed curtain. She blinked her eyes and struggled to sit up, twisting her neck and wondering why she was back in the Mansion now.
“You’re awake.” When she was thinking , someone entered the room.
“Xiao Chen…” Jing Yue rubbed her head, thinking that she might have slept too much.
“Eat something.” Xiao Chen placed a bowl of soup on the table, looking at her, and frowned ,”Why did you suddenly pass out , and sleep for a whole day.”
