Beautiful Monsters - Chapter 1
It was a gloomy and dark night; the sounds of nearby sirens of an ambulance quickly passed by a glossy black-painted convertible with the powerful wind from the speed causing the hair of a man named Lon Bryce to get pushed back, flowing somewhat to the side of his head. Lon seemed calm as he didn’t press on the brakes while the ambulance passed, but everyone else who was driving nearby stopped until it was out of the way. He not only didn’t stop, but also began to gain a high amount of speed going easily from forty mph to ninety mph in the blink of an eye. Sure enough, a highway police officer had seen Lon speeding as he began to turn on his police sirens following in Lon’s tracks. Lon simply looked to his right view mirror, seeing the highway patrol officer right behind him. He then tilted his head straight back up again, turning the car to the side of the highway so others can pass by as he began to shut off the car by the turn of the keys. The police officer immediately approaches the convertible as he looks into the car holding onto it with his left hand. Lon calmly looks at the officer as he began to talk to him. The police officer says, “You know, I’m sure you know how fast you were going. So let’s just make this easy…” A pause had occurred as the officer took out his pen and started to write him a speeding ticket. Lon Bryce suddenly took off his black-sleek like glasses, putting them into the car cup holder as he took out his wallet, pulling out four hundred dollar bills, holding it with just two of his fingers near the side mirror on the driver’s seat. He went on to say “I’d love to stay and finish the party, but I’ve got to go. Go ahead, take this and buy something pretty for yourself” as he then quickly threw out the money from his hand into the cop’s path as he put the car in drive starting to take off. The officer didn’t even have enough time to react as he was surprised that had happened. Once the officer came back into his senses, which was fairly quick, he had tried reaching for his radio to call for backup realizing that it wasn’t there at all. The highway patrol officer rushed to his car getting inside of it trying to find him on any of the streets by driving around the area but never did. By this time, Lon Bryce made yet another fascinating escape from the police department. Lon continued to make his way along the highway going from Denver, Colorado to the known City of Chicago for a vacation. Meanwhile, in New York, a young woman named Abiah Emory also was planning on traveling to Chicago the same day. Her room lit up as the bright lights from the light switch was clicked on while Abiah Emory walked in looking a bit frustrated from her daily problems in her life. She heads towards her bed, gently throwing a black bag meant for clothes onto the bed, glancing at the alarm clock of hers, which showed the time: 9:03 at night. Abiah sighed saying to herself, “I need to get out of here and fast. Now…. Where are my keys?” as she looked around the scene. She notices her car keys on the cabinet right beside her beginning to pick it up and head out the front door of her house right after packing her clothes for the travel and locking the door as she left. The dim lights of other houses from a distance away shined a bit of light onto her freshly red new Nissan as she walked outside with the bag of clothes in one hand and the car keys in the other. Abiah goes to get inside of the car, putting the bag into the back seat, then getting into the front driver seat starting the car and begins to drive off. She makes her way to the New York airport, where a private jet was waiting for her arrival. Once there, Abiah finally meets the known bar owner, Nathen Cord, who is waiting inside of the private jet for Abiah to enter. She parks the car nearby getting out to make her way into the jet. As soon as she got inside, she smiles at Nathen and sits down next to him putting the bag of clothes onto the floor. Nathen Cord was seen crossing his legs with a bottle of light colored wine in his right hand looking at her. Another person came in right behind Abiah closing the door to the private jet as they began to prepare for take off. After the take off, Abiah looks at Nathen saying “So, why are you so interested in having me to join your bar staff? I mean… I thought you guys were already packed as it is knowing there’s no other popular bar in Chicago.” Nathen gains a small grin as he took a sip of his wine putting the glass of wine onto the table. Right after that, he begins saying “I hear you’re the best bartender around. It’s fair to say that my bar deserves only the best staff for it.” Abiah then realizes this guy is the real deal compared to what previous job was like. She grabs the bottle of wine pouring herself a glass and goes on to say, “Well then we’re both in luck I guess. I get to get out of the hole I was living in and you get to have one of the best bartenders around.” as she chuckled looking at the glass being poured into her small wine bottle. Once it was done being poured, she looked back at him as he replied, “Oh yes and I’m very sure we’ll get along well together don’t you think?” as he uncrossed his legs into a more comfortable position. They both smiled at the same time after Abiah said “Oh I don’t think about it, I know for sure we will.” The private jet was continuing to give a smooth calm ride to Chicago where the bar was at. They both sat there talking to each other for some time as the night went on. The ride had lasted long enough to make both, Abiah and Nathen eventually fall asleep. They slept for some hours until the ride was interrupted by the shrieking sound of the private jet coming close to ground level of the Chicago Airport closing taking out it’s wheels to land. Once landed, they both woke up and began to make their way to Luxi Bar where Nathen is the co-owner of it. Seeing that it was still night time Abiah made it clear she wanted to go to sleep soon so Nathen suggests a four-star hotel close by where she can stay the night. He goes on to get into his car midway and stops, looking back at Abiah saying “Alright. I guess this is it. You’ll be there in the morning I assume right?” as she looks back at him, nodding from a small distance away and they begin to go their different ways. Nathen gets into his car soon enough driving off into the distance as Abiah calls a taxi ride to the hotel he mentioned which was called Central Loop Hotel. As she reached her destination and went inside of her already-paid-for hotel room, the view had caught her immediate attention looking outside glazing in all of it’s glory that consisted of bright red, green, and white lights all spread across the streets of Chicago. While she was caught up in the moment, a thud sound came from her hotel room door. Two rhythmic knocks were right after the first one and then complete silence. Abiah slowly headed towards the door as she was quite tired already putting down her bag of clothes onto the floor. Before Abiah opened the door, she looked through the small glass that was in the middle of the door seeing that it was someone she didn’t know. At first, she was hesitant to opening it, but opened it anyways without regret. The door quietly shrieked a small bit only before the man, Blaine Leighton had looked straight at her after she opened it. Blaine calmly said “So you’re the new girl everyone’s talking about huh? They said tons of crazy things about you since you came here. I would personally advise you to maybe.. Not to be the type of girl they were talking about. That’d just be better for everyone here.” as he crosses his arms at her. She looks at him in confusion, saying, “Well, I don’t necessarily know who ‘they’ are but you can calm down with all of that type of talk. For one, I don’t even know who you are.” Blaine then simply shrugs noticing that she isn’t going to be so easy with him. He smirked replying back to her as he clapped his hands, “That is what I’m talking about. Finally, a woman who can stand her ground for once. Very impressive if I have to say.” as he looked at her awaiting Abiah’s response. The two talked back and forth for some minutes, then parted away as Abiah was badly in need of a nap. As Abiah went back into her hotel room to fall asleep soon enough, Blaine went into his room which was oddly bigger than hers. It was apparent that Blaine had connections in Chicago for more of the high-end type of activities and property. Time had passed by quickly as it was currently 1:29 in the morning while Blaine was reading a text of his saying there was a special deal at Mastro’s Steakhouse for adults. As soon as he read the text, he found himself falling asleep quite soon after that. He was already planning the next day in his mind as we speak. It wasn’t obvious to Abiah that view of hers inside her hotel room wasn’t just a view of the city of Chicago. It was a renewed image of her past life she would always remember. The bright lights from the cars down below moved back and forth just like the ones back in New York at late in the night working as some sort of signal trying to convince that she didn’t get away from her problems, she got even closer to them. It was odd to see that Blaine would approach someone like that, but it even proves once again that she is not escaping any problems of hers as it’s a fate to have conflict in her life. Blaine had a belief that life was so cruel to humanity that even he himself had made the decision to get out and make sure issues were there so that he wouldn’t feel so bad about the memory of his father, John Leighton kicking him out of the house to fend for himself. Several hours had passed since then as Blaine’s phone alarm clock goes off, which woke him up causing him to yawn and stretch his body right after that. Blaine picked up his phone putting it into his pocket as he heads outside to go to Mastro’s Steakhouse. He had got into the fairly middle-class car of his as he drove to the place by himself. By the time he opened the door to the restaurant, Lon Bryce was just pulling up in the owner’s own parking spot in his black convertible. However, Blaine didn’t care to notice as he was sitting down to get assisted with the food. Once sat down at the table, Blaine was asked kindly by the waiter with a small smile on her face, “What do you want for a drink?” as he looked up at her replying with a calm attitude “I’ll take a water.” nodding after he said that. She rushes off after saying “Alright then, I’ll only be a little.” Blaine then see’s Lon come into the restaurant wearing a well-dressed and sleek suit with a Rolex on his right wrist. He looks at him watching Lon go from the tables to in the back where his office, which was behind the chef’s working area. Blaine suddenly thought only the owner would take his time and invite him to the restaurant with an excuse being ‘There’s a special deal going on’ which ended up being totally false but worked as a reason to get Blaine there. He then got up off from the table’s seat beginning to walk, following where Lon went earlier. When Blaine had entered the office of Lon Bryce he was standing at the door looking right at each other. Lon was seen sitting down reading over something on his desk, which seemed like it was an agreement with a humongous company to sign him as the co-manager to work together to gain even more profit. Lon Bryce glanced at Blaine soon saying “Ah, there you are. You’re here for the ‘special deal’ huh? Well, you probably noticed by now that was all a scheme to get your here. Please. Please. Sit down.” as he clenches both of his fists together gently laying them onto the desk. Blaine of course listens to the order and sits down on the chair in front of the desk. Blaine looked into Lon’s eyes as he replied, “So what’s the real reason I’m here for and how did you even manage to get my number? I never gave it to you.” There was a pause after that as Lon goes on to say “Well it’s simple, give some money, earn some little birdies here and there and eventually hear things.” as he began to tilt his head looking closely at Blaine analyzing his outfit and tone. He then goes onto to say “I heard some interesting things about you, you know that? How you killed a man using a knife at the age of sixteen… How you’re able to manage and earn income off of stolen goods from a third-party company far off across the world. It’s a quite dangerous life you have.. I love it.” as he gets off from his chair heading slowly towards Blaine. Blaine was shocked at how Lon knew so much about his life which caused him to defensively say “You shouldn’t know this stuff man. I tried my best to keep it all a secret; to keep it away from society so that I don’t get locked up from a simple parking ticket, alright?” It was at that moment where Blaine had known his whole life was in jeopardy as someone of such a high-status knows tons of criminal injustices he has participated in. It was a fair enough amount of law’s broken to get Blaine life in prison, but Lon’s intentions weren’t to lock him up. It seemed his intentions were to have Blaine at his side knowing how great of a acquaintance he can be. He saw something in Blaine that sparked his devious ideas and plans. Lon approached Blaine to then lean over the desk a bit sitting on it with one leg perched onto it as the other one touched the ground, Lon looked down at him in curiosity. Lon says “You want in on this? I can get you cars, money, women or anything else you want with the push of a button. But, it simply comes with a catch; to work for me and me only as I’m starting my own private company.” Blaine looked up at Lon in curiosity as to what he was talking about. At that second in time, Blaine had already been convinced by Lon to join in on the plan of his by bringing up cars and women. Blaine asks “Oh really? I’m listening.” as they both talked in Lon’s office for an half hour. Lon knowing he was successful in getting Blaine to join in the illegal profit making, he decided to introduce Blaine to some other connections that helped him gain all of this extreme wealth and economic control he had a hold of. This was sure enough to catch Blaine’s interests in Lon and the plan he had. Lon goes ahead and stands up getting off of his African wooden desk, he puts both of his hands into his pockets and signals for to exit at the office door using his left hand; where a glimpse of his palm was a small cut as they were just getting up to leave. Lon then says “Now let’s go out for a little drink, shall we? We’ll talk more there.” as Blaine takes the hint beginning to stand up and leaves the room right in front of Lon. Lon then follows right behind him, shutting the door calmly leaving his office with Blaine. Once out of the office, they both walk towards the exit getting out of the restaurant through the back door and into Lon’s convertible. As soon as Lon buckled his seat belt, he pressed on the gas with no regret having Blaine fly back a bit in his seat as he wasn’t prepared for that to happen. Blaine struggled, but eventually buckled his seat belt as well while Lon drove quickly, yet quite proficientally to the Gilt Bar, which wasn’t that far away. It was incredible how Lon drove at such a fast speed with ease, going from lane to lane barely squeezing through the tight traffic. Blaine looked nervously throughout the ride looking at the street. However, several wide turns later; Lon then calmly slowed the car down as he parked it in front of the bar. Lon turned his car keys to the side, taking it out of the car itself and got out of the convertible. On the other end, Blaine felt sick to the stomach because he’s never experienced such a quick ride like that one ever before. The bright red sign that had the words ‘Gilt Bar’ reflected it’s red light onto Lon’s car and them as well as they approached the entrance. Devious ideas and plans were built on top of each other every second Blaine would speak Lon. It’s almost like he’s some sort of role model for the average criminal. Within the first week of staying in Chicago for vacation, Lon Bryce was already known as the ‘Godfather of Chicago’ which wasn’t going to look good as a title in the newspaper. He ran the place as no companies would be able to turn down his tremendous offers which always resulted in him getting more economic power and stability. As Lon and Blaine go inside Gilt Bar they both sit on the stools at the bar table, which was then occupied by Abiah as she turned around, finishing up as she cleaned a glass bottle, then putting it down looking at both of the men and kindly asking them what they wanted to drink. Lon takes off his black-sleek glasses as he puts it on the bar table saying, “I want a round of wine for me and my buddy here.” as he pulls out a wad of cash from his black leather wallet, putting it onto the table calmly and puts away his wallet back into his pocket. Blaine looks at both of them as they talked to each other back and forth for a second; wanting to say something but didn’t. There was an odd feeling in the air right after Abiah said “Alright then coming up.” as she grabbed the wad of cash and started to pour their drinks. This feeling gave Abiah a bad vibe so as Blaine and Lon begin to drink their glasses of wine, she quietly grabs a knife that was hiding under the bar table for the staff members to use in case of an emergency and as soon as she took it out making a powerful stabbing motion at Lon he said, “Stop. I wouldn’t do that if I were you.” as she then quickly came to a stop mid-way through her attack looking directly at Lon. Blaine got into a confused state of mind where he made an odd face at both of them wondering what was going on between them. The murmur of other people around the group of three then became silent because they wanted to see what was going to happen. Abiah says “I-I’m sorry. It’s just been a very long day and I thought you were guys were going to hurt me or someone in here. You guys look sketchy and untrustworthy, that’s all I’m saying.” as she put down the knife onto the table shaking her hand a bit from the momentum that was built up from that moment. Lon smiles, putting his drink down after sipping it once more saying “Now I didn’t really think much of it, but it looks like to me that someone has trust issues here. I do however like your sense of style; elegant yet deadly.” A pause occurs right after he said that as Abiah replies “You are one odd person. You complimented me on taking a stab attempt at you… Who are you?” Blaine and Abiah both look at Lon as he remarks “In simple terms, I’m everything a man wishes to be and more. Other than that, you’ll just have to find out because you’ve only just begun to see the cover of the book.” As soon as Lon said that he turns to face Blaine, putting on his glasses and then all of a sudden leaves the area leaving behind both Abiah and Blaine without any reason as to why he left. Blaine asks “Where are you going, man? Don’t just leave me here.” as he starts to watch Lon walk away and faces toward Abiah behind the bar table. The two of them talked, exchanged numbers and after trying to go find Lon because Blaine was successfully able to get her into his devious company plan as well. The plan was simple; become a humongous private company that launders money and takes great amounts of profits from smaller companies through a strict contract in which Lon printed out and signed. Of course, this wasn’t going to an easy task, but with wealthy and high-status connections; it was possible. Lon had disappeared once again going somewhere unknown by himself as he forgot he was supposed to be at a meeting between wealthy businessmen about the creation of his private company. It was apparent that Lon thought it would be strange to show up with the two of them, Abiah and Blaine as they’re more of the middle-class category. It was apparent to everyone that knows Lon that he had a devil’s mind, but a human’s form and appearance. Lon’s phone would be silently blown up with notifications as he was in the meeting with high-class citizens and businessmen, messages and missed calls were starting to appear on his phone’s screen throughout the meeting. However, he didn’t seem to pay any attention to any of it as he was too focused on getting this idea of a private company into reality. Meanwhile, in an FBI police department in Chicago, a man named David Pletcher came across an article about the profound ‘Godfather of Chicago’ giving all the details as to what Lon has illegally and secretly done so far. David gently puts his right finger directly on the newspaper beginning to read the article quickly and effectively. Amazingly, he was done reading within just under a minute. He then looks up at one of the other detectives saying “It appears the unsub or what the media believes his name to be Lon Bryce, is indirectly laundering money from other companies.” as the other detective looks back at him responding with “Maybe so, but then why? What’re his real intentions here? I thought he lived somewhere else and just happened to be on a visit here as a vacation.” A pause happens as David stands up going to the drawing board which was just a marker usable white board on the wall that’s used often to catch suspected criminals. He stands right in front of the whiteboard looking back at the newspaper on the table saying “It seems he has a psychological mindset of one that seeks to control people and events. He must’ve knew that Chicago was a great place for that occasion because he’s the manager of Mastro’s Steakhouse there. This allows him to control what’s going on from that company’s point of view, but if he doesn’t take things carefully his own customers or even staff members will give in, pointing directly at Lon simply ratting him out…He has no way out of this one.” as the other detective looks at David after he talked, a police officer came into the room handing over a sealed document in which held Lon Bryce’s criminal record to David and says “We know where he is and this is enough solid evidence to put him in jail for a long amount of time. We’re able to make a move on him right now detective Pletcher.” Right after he said that David glanced at the officer and at the other detective in the room remarking “Yes. This guy is a criminal mastermind so it’s only right we should make our move first and quick as he doesn’t know yet that we’re on to him. Let’s head out.” As soon as he said that David had gone out with the other detective and a group of five armed FBI officer’s to hunt Lon Bryce down. The group of people got into two separate FBI vehicle’s heading towards the secret meeting location by using the police department’s map equipment that was next to the driver’s seat of the car. From the distance the group of officers was at, It was going to take roughly 5 minutes to get to the area of the meeting. This gave some time to Lon as Blaine and Abiah had just found the secret location where he was at. They both entered the door to the meeting room where a small group of wealthy businessmen and Lon were all sitting down next to the table. Everyone had turned their heads to face the two of them after Abiah opened the door. Lon was the first one to say something to break the silence, saying “Oh what are you two doing here?” Blaine and Abiah looked at each other then looked at Lon as Abiah says back, “Well we did get left behind by you at the bar with no reason as to why you even left so we came looking for you.” After that, Blaine then backs her up by saying “Yeah it’s quite a setback, we had to make our way all the way over here just to see you in a boring meeting about god knows what. I also want to warn you that myself and Abiah saw some FBI officer’s pulling up into the driveway. I don’t know-” as he gets interrupted by Lon who quickly remarks, as he stands up off of the chair, “I can’t let them get a hold of me. Come here Abiah, I need you to do something for me and quick!” He begins to look at her from a distance as Abiah then approaches him. As soon as she got in front of him, Abiah crossed her arms asking “So what do you want me to do about this whole FBI thing?” By this time, David and the group of FBI officers were already entering the building; soon to be at the same room Lon and everyone else is in. As their group made their way past different rooms searching for the meeting room, Lon says to Abiah “Listen carefully, I need you to seduce David, he’ll be the one wearing a detective’s coat and has professionally combed hair. This is my only chance. You’re my only chance.” as he put his arm onto her shoulders, looking into her eyes telling her about the current situation. She looked back into his eyes, then nods and says “Sure. I got you, you owe me one though.” as she gains a small smile uncrossing her arms. He grins, saying back, “You are amazing. Blaine, you come with me, I’m going to drop you off at your house and we’ll get through this day.” As the group of criminals talked in the meeting room, you could now hear the group of FBI officers coming upstairs approaching quickly. Blaine then follows right behind Lon as they jump out of a window of the meeting room, breaking it’s glass, falling into a green large garbage container on the side of the building. After the two did that, the other businessmen stayed right in their seats acting normal as if nothing ever happened as Abiah had left the room approaching the group of officer’s. She turned the corner right outside the meeting room, waiting for them to get close enough so she could make a move. Once David was close enough to the door to the meeting room, Abiah turned the corner slightly bumping into David’s chest with papers flying all over the floor. At that moment, David said “Oh! Hey… I-I’m very sorry about that, here I’ll even help you out with all of this. The rest of you guys go ahead and search that room without me, I’ll be there in a bit.” as he helps pick up the papers on the floor. The group goes on continuing the search going into the meeting room with their same objective in mind. Abiah looks at David once they have picked up all the papers as she holds onto it all. She goes on to say “Thank you. You’re so kind! Say, you’re very helpful to be honest. I could use someone like you in my life. Let’s exchange numbers maybe?” as she smiles innocently at him, hoping he’d fall for her trick. David glances behind Abiah, then looks at her saying, “Well, I don’t see why not. I simply can’t turn down an attractive woman like you and won’t begin now.” as he pulls out his pen and paper starting to write down his number and when done, gives the lined paper calmly to her letting Abiah gain possession of it. After that, they’d smile at each other and parted ways. Abiah quickly left the building right after that moment as David went into the meeting room along with the other officer’s to search for Lon who wasn’t there at all. Once Abiah was outside the building, she caught a taxi to return to her house because it was too late to continue any more schemes for the day. Lon however, was just returning home from dropping off Blaine to his house as he pulled into his large spaced-out driveway, where three other vehicles were also parked next to each other in a neat row. He then exited his just-washed convertible starting to make his way to his high-class modern era two story house in a timely fashion. The house shimmered in its glory because of the lawn’s lights reflecting onto the lion fountain and the house’s white walls. Lon tiredly entered the house opening the door with his house key and began to sit on his black and brown English Victorian grandfather’s chair that was in front of the fireplace which lit only a small portion of the living room and where Lon was sitting. The fire’s light reached onto his face as he sat comfortably on the chair beginning to think of other devious plans that were planned for another time while the rest of his face was pitch black in the dark. It’s fiery flame was a representation of Lon and who he is an individual. The rest of his house was pitch black which was too dark to be able to see anything. That combination of saturation and light differences resulted in a suspenseful tone as he looked at the fire glazing in its glory. The calm night passed quickly as Lon then fell asleep on the chair in the living room. Hours later, the sun starts to rise into the sky, causing the pulled-down blinds to squeeze through an amount of sunlight into the house. The house was quiet until suddenly the doorbell had pressed and the doorbells sound vibrated throughout the whole house which resulted in Lon waking up. He opened his eyes and does a short yawn because how good of a nap he had then looked in the direction of the door. He began to walk towards the door after getting up from the chair, opening it in a timely fashion and sees Blaine in front of Lon’s doorsteps. However, Blaine was seen holding a pistol in his right hand, which was an M1911 while also having blood stains on his shirt that gave Lon the idea he had murdered someone.
They both looked at each other as Blaine then said in a rush-like manner, “Listen, I know it’s early, but I need your help with something….I want to get rid of a body.” Right after Blaine said that, Lon remarks “A body you say? Fair enough, what we can do is throw the body off into a river and I know just the place for it. It’s close by.” Lon then shuts the door to his house, locking it and leaves with Blaine putting the body into the convertible until they made their way to the river. The drive there had only taken a couple of minutes, but as soon as the two men got there, they grabbed the body by both of its sides and throw it into the river, watching it float for a second until the body suddenly drowned eventually hitting the bottom of the river. Lon looks at Blaine as Blaine was taking off his shirt throwing it into the river as well with the body so there was no evidence left. He looks back at Lon slightly throwing the handgun to him, which in Lon catches it so he can dispose of it professionally and get rid of any chance of letting this crime backfire on Blaine. Lon approaches his trunk to the convertible putting the pistol into a professional briefcase, which had a handgun holder in it and closes both the briefcase and trunk. Lon glances at Blaine once again, getting into the driver’s seat and takes off with Blaine in the passenger seat. Once five blocks away from Blaine’s house, Lon parks the car and drops off Blaine so he could walk home unsuspicious of anything. While Blaine walked his way to his home, Lon drove to a building four miles away. As he reached the destination, he parked the car next to the curb and looked at his watch which said the time: one-fifty nine as he then looked to the side at the door of the building that was called Lucky’s Club in which he was in front of, when all of a sudden the time turned to two o’clock and the building’s door had burst open with a bodyguard throwing out a young man who seem to be rebelling against the club itself. The man was thrown onto the floor roughly by his collar of his shirt into some of the mud that was on the curb. The bodyguard then came back inside of the building leaving the man by himself outside as you can hear everyone that was inside still laughing at the event in which that all happened. The oblivious man had combed straight up dirty blonde hair and a denim long-sleeved vest who was covered in mud glanced at Lon. Lon simply says “What are you doing, Adrien? I told you that going inside of there wasn’t going to do you any good. Here, come on I’ll get you all freshened up, we got a ball party to ruin remember?” Adrien tries getting up, almost slipping back down onto the floor and enters the convertible from the passenger side. As he got inside the car, Adrien said “Hey man, thanks again. Yeah yeah I know we have this thing to do. Let’s just get on with it because my day can’t get any more worse.” Lon looks towards the road as he begins to put the car in drive and takes off to the clothing store of his choice to get themselves dressed up for the specific occasion. While Lon parked the car in one of the stores parking spots, he sees David in the distance talking to a police officer about something. However, he didn’t want to be noticed so he pressed on the seat’s switch to lower himself as David looked over in his direction while Adrien simply looked at Lon thinking he was acting weird. As David stops looking in his direction, Lon presses the button again to higher himself as he then got out of the convertible along with Adrien going inside of the high-fashion clothing store. Once they both got inside, Lon called Abiah on his cellular phone saying “Hey, It’s Lon. I need you to come by Le Style near the main street. I got something to do that involves you and bring Blaine while you’re at it.” You could hear Abiah on the other side of the phone saying, “Oh okay sure thing we’ll be there in no time.” as she hung up the phone. Lon puts his phone back into his pocket as he then walks over to check out some high-class suits that Adrien was near. It was fascinating because even the smell of the room they were both in was rich. It became apparent that this wasn’t just a store to Lon and the others that shopped there, it was a main line for criminals to disguise themselves as high-class businessmen. Yet even the owner and staff working there never quite figured that out though time will tell. Lon started to pick out a suit for himself as Adrien did the same as they put on the suits, Blaine and Abiah had just walked into the store’s entrance. Lon grabs the suit he picked out walking towards Blaine and Abiah saying “Now this is where it’s at. This is the place where for now on we got our outfits from alright? It’s all high-class fashion which is a great representation of a trustworthy citizen.” Adrien in the background is seen going into the changing room to get into the outfit while the three of them talk. Blaine says back “Don’t get me any other day I’d love to get my clothes paid for but though what are we really here for?” Lon does a small smirk as he looked at Blaine, saying “We’re here to trash a party. Specifically Chris Serith’s, a man whose onto us and not showing any signs of giving up. He has something we need; a sealed document that has all of our my criminal records. The ones that were supposed to be wiped off the face of earth.” as he turned around beginning to walk towards the changing room to get ready. Right before Lon gets into the changing room he says “Now hurry and change into something nice. It’s on me.” going inside of the room and closing the door as he began to change into the suit. Blaine and Abiah shrugged at each other and parted ways inside of the store looking for different outfits to put on. Fifteen minutes go by, the group of four had all got ready into their outfits according to the plan. They all meet up right outside of the clothing store and parted their ways going to their own cars to make themselves unsuspicious. Each person of the group had drove to the location of the ball party. Soon they had all pulled up the two-story house which had the party inside. Lon was the first one to get out of his car as everyone else in the group had did the same. Blaine,Adrien and Abiah had all walked right behind Lon as they entered the house party.
