Becoming A God In Harry Potter - 31 Dobby
While the group was walking back to the Floo Network Fireplaces, Jack took Tom Riddle’s Diary from Ginny’s Cauldron. He didn’t want to leave a Horcrux near his friend, not while she was inexperienced in dealing with them. Although he wanted to give it to Harry for him to use his Phantom to absorb it but he found that Harry was still not done with the piece of Voldemort’s soul inside him and another piece would end up harming him. “oh man! Have you looked at these books, we already know all of this stuff. I don’t know why we even go to school, we are probably smarter than most of our seniors.” Dean and everyone in the group had went through the books as soon as they got back to the `Magi Dio, the subspace they had created over the holidays and like everyone else, he was disappointed. The group of friends had gained a lot of knowledge as well as experience over the holidays and the books in front of them were things that they already knew. “Hogwarts has one of the biggest and oldest libraries in the whole of magical world and its walls are home to many undiscovered secrets.” When the group heard Jack’s words, their faces that were bored at the thought of going back to Hogwarts were now filed with excitement.
A few days had passed and the group was now standing near the entrance to Platform 9 ¾ and the group was excited. “Man! I can’t wait to get back in that castle and start exploring!” Jack was now a little worried at the fact that his friends might spend the whole year just exploring the castle and end up failing their classes. But then he remembered that they were all geniuses like him and could pass even the O.W.L.S. with ease much less Second Year Exams. When everyone had passed through the wall to the other side, Harry, Ron and Jack started to run up to phase through the wall when suddenly Jack remembered something and slowed down. `Bam!’ both Harry and Ron crashed into the wall and fell while Jack was smiling at their misery as well as working on a spell in secret. “Hey you two! What’s going on here?!” a station guard came over and asked the two in a strict tone. “Sorry! Lost control of the trolley.” The guard gave them a glare and left but the two came over to Jack and spoke in a hushed tone, “Damn it! what happened?! How come we aren’t at the other side?!” the gate is supposed to be open right now!” Ron and Harry were both very angry right now, not only did they fall but they also might miss the train.
“Don’t worry, we still have time and I already found our way to the other side. Abscondam! Revelare! Captis!” Jack used the spells he was preparing in succession and first hid them from Muggle’s sight before revealing and capturing a Hairless creature with long ears and tattered clothes. “NO!NO!NO! DOBBY CANNOT BE SEEN BY HARRY POTTER! NO!” Jack was so relieved that he had put up the Privacy Charm before capturing the House Elf, Dobby was screaming out of his lungs right now. “Dobby! Calm Down!” Jack didn’t want to do it but he used his Golden Sharingan and used his Aura on Dobby to slowly calm him down. “Bloody Hell! Why were you shouting so loudly?! If Jack hadn’t put up a spell, you would have exposed us to the Muggles!” Ron spoke in a hushed but sharp tone and the House Elf shrunk further into his clothes. “Dobby is sorry, Master Weasley. Dobby was just shocked and afraid but it’s too late for all of that!” Dobby was currently very sad and looking at his face both Harry and Ron were sad as well. But Jack who had been silent after using his Magic Eyes opened his hand and produced a Green Flame and shot it at the House Elf.
Dobby, Harry and Ron were shocked but the two wizards didn’t stop their friend, they trusted him with their life and knew he wouldn’t harm an innocent life. And they were right even the screaming House Elf realized after screaming for some time that he wasn’t feeling any heat from the flames and they felt warm and cosy. The flames only burned for a minute and then died down leaving a short but handsome elf in its wake. “Dobby, why don’t you open your eyes.” Jack’s calm voice encouraged Dobby and he opened his eyes to see that he was still alive and that he had been freed! “How is this possible! You!” when Harry and Ron saw the crazed look on the elf’s face they hurriedly tried to blocked him but Dobby bowed where he was standing and banged his head on the floor saying, “Thank you Master William! Thank You for freeing Dobby! Thank You!” Jack went over to the House Elf and helped the little guy to his feet, “Dobby, can you help us get to the other side of the wall please?” Dobby nodded his head so fast, Jack thought that it might fly off. Dobby clicked his fingers and the next second the boys were standing at the Platform 9 ¾ while their guardians were nonchalantly talking to their friends.
Ron and Harry who were silent from shock until now decided that they would ask Jack later and that the adults came first. “Hey! What the hell is wrong with you?! We were stuck on the other side of the wall, we could have missed the train!” Ron was about to go on and on when Mr. Weasley spoke up, “So what! Not only are you three capable of getting to Hogwarts on your own but you also don’t really need to go there! Do you want me to go on!” at the somehow it makes sense answer, the boys nodded their head and said goodbyes before leaving with Jack and Dobby to get in the train. No one was surprised or shocked that Jack had a House Elf with him, they wouldn’t even be surprised to see a Dragon next to him much less a House Elf. “So, do you want to tell us something?!” as soon as they entered their cabin, Hermione, Daphne and Ginny stood up glaring at the three, making them shiver in fear of their future. After a gruelling thirty minutes, everyone finished their explanations. Jack just made up that he picked up the magical signature of a House Elf nearby and was curious as to why the creature was there and then Dobby told his side of the story leaving the girls in tears and the boys in anger.
