Bites & Addiction - Chapter 33:Where he rules
When I went university next day, I discovered that Mrs. Reese had joined again and Silas was no more our lecturer. Well, I was literally happy to know that, but my instincts had been continuously screaming that somehow the whole turnover was relevant to Roman, though he had promised me that he wouldn’t step into my campus.
Shit. What if he killed him outside the campus?
Oh, that smart chick.
“Nice and slow, Flora.” I was pulled out of my reverie by Freya. I looked at her, she was cutting the tainted leaves through scissors. “You shouldn’t be rough with them. They are just like kids, need to be treated nice and slow.”
“Umm…Sorry.” I apologised as I realised that I’d cut the whole flower instead of only a damaged leaf because my mind was preoccupied by a horror that was committed by my dear husband.
It still noon and I’d decided to get home early since my mind wasn’t in anything but in Roman. So here I am, assisting Freya in her mission:banish the contaminated.
“You remind me of the time when I used to miss Marcel when he hadn’t been at home.” I turned my attention to her as she spoke softly, her eyes glinted at the memory of the beautiful time she spent with her husband. “And to see him I often used to go his office without his permission.”
Why I haven’t thought about that until yet?
I can also go to his office if I want to talk him. I mean who will wait till the night when he gets home?
Putting the scissors aside, I quickly embraced her into a bone breaking hug. She was taken aback by my sudden mood change. “Thank you!” I exclaimed enthusiastically.
I hurriedly ran into the mansion, grabbed my purse from my room and ran back to the garage where I saw Henry—my driver. I sprinted over his direction.
“Hello, henry!” I greeted him. He gave me a graceful bow before opening the backseat door.
“Hashking enterprises Please.” I instructed him sliding onto the backseat.
He drove to the destination he’d been told and it was just fifteen minutes drive from the mansion. From the window I could see the huge skyscraper building when Henry parked the vehicle. He jogged over to the other side of the car and opened the door for me.
“Thank you.” I mumbled before heading to the building.
I paced to the reception and saw a beautiful lady behind the counter continuously typing on the keyboard, her eyes were glued to the computer screen.
“I want to meet Roman.”
Immediately, her crystal blue eyes snapped up and she was looking at me as if I weren’t belong here.
She eyed me from head to toe before fixing her eyes back to the screen. “It’s Mr. Hashking for you, and sorry you can’t meet him since he’s a busy man who doesn’t have time for worthless people like you.” she said bitterly.
“I didn’t ask for your permission. Did I?” I said raising a brow and suddenly, blood drained from her face and her fingers halted abruptly.
Ohh. I didn’t tell her yet who I’m and she’s already seem frightened. “I just want you to direct me the way to his office.”
“Umm…what’s your name again?” she said nervously.
“Flora.” I said, “Flora Hashking.”
Her pupils dilated and lips parted a little as my information came as a bombshell for her.
“I..I’m sorry, Mrs. Hashking. I didn’t know that—”
“It’s okay.” I assured her. “Just tell me the directions.”
She nodded and plastered a smile on her face. “Just give me a minute.” She called someone and after a minute returned to me. “Ma’am, Ms. Steele will escort you to Mr. Hashking’s office. Before that you’ll have to take the private elevator for 21st floor.”
Before heading to the private elevator I passed her a smile and uttered a thank you.
When I stepped out of the elevator I saw a smiling woman, her eyes were hazel green and blonde hair tied up in a tight bun. She seemed courteous and kind, completely opposite to receptionist.
She greeted and escorted me to Roman’s office.
I rushed into the office and ignoring his opened arms which were waiting for me to throw myself in, I rather found my way to the couch and sank into it.
“Woah! Not in a good mood today?” Roman asked, taking some paces towards me.
I shrugged, “I just googled what chickens look like without feathers and I’m severely uncomfortable.”
His brows raised, “I thought you were vegan.”
“I still am.” I scoffed, throwing my arms in the air. “Can’t a vegan google about chickens?”
He narrowed his eyes and a corner of his mouth twitched. “So you Came here just to tell me that a featherless chicken is haunting you.” He said making himself comfortable next to me. While I rolled my eyes at him. “Hey, don’t roll your eyes. Tell me what’s wrong?” His tone was concerned.
Crossing my arms against my chest I inquired, “Did you break your promise?”
His pupils flared and brows knitted together, but his answer came in an instant, “No.”
It wasn’t just a word for me. It was a promise and I trusted him from the bottom of my heart.
“Then what did you do with Silas?” My voice came out as a whisper. “D-Did y-you kill h-him?”
“No.” His said sincerely. “After what he has done with you, he must’ve been wiped out of his existence. That bastard is lucky that he still alive.”
Thank god he didn’t kill Silas for me. It’s not just about my graduation, it’s about my own humanity. It would harm my dignity if I get to know that the reason of someone’s death is me, and then it would haunt me forever.
I felt his gentle touch on my cheek that made me look up into his hypnotising gray eyes. “Hey, you don’t have to think about that, okay. Just focus on your studies. He won’t hurt you anymore.” He assured me, his eyes boring into mine. “I promise.”
I squeezed back his hand and gave him a soft smile, “I trust you unreasonably.”
He smiled back.
“So…we are okay now.” He said as he stood up. “Then I should continue the work I was doing.” With that he walked upto the table and seated himself on a porch leather chair.
Okay. That is weird. I mean not the way he left me and continued his work but the way I’m feeling all of a sudden like I’m in a need of something. As if I’m incomplete, like I’m desperate to taste…..him.
Without further delay I took long strides, and made myself comfortable on his lap. Before he could respond, I crashed my lips on him. Immediately, as I expected, he kissed me back with same passion as mine….hungrily. He squeezed my hips causing me let out a moan in process, and watching the opportunity he thrusted his tongue into my mouth.
“I’m hungry, baby.” He mumbled between the kisses before laying me on the wooden table.
Thank god I’d decided to wear a short floral dress before coming here. That’s why it didn’t take me long to remove my panties, because I knew what was about to come.
He unbuckled his pants, and in one brisk and ravenous move entered in me.
First gasp escaped from my mouth feeling his hard member inside of me after a long time. We both were hungry for each other and also addicted, insanely addicted.
“Oh god!” I moan, but covered my mouth as soon as I realised that we were in a building full of hundreds of employees.
Roman Let out a chuckle as he saw me covering my mouth.
“W-What?” I breathe hardly as he was relentlessly and ravenously thrusting himself inside of me.
“You don’t need to cover your mouth since there no one on the floor.” He chuckled again before crashing his lips on mine.
“What about your—oh god!” I let out a soft scream. “What about your PA?”
Miss Steele already told me that she’s Roman’s PA when she guided me to his office.
“Don’t worry about her.” He said, “She’s a workaholic. Must be busy in her office.”
I let out a chuckle, “That’s a good thing.”
And then suddenly, the office door opened. Before a group of businessmen could see us, Roman threw me under the table, and himself sank back into his chair.
“I thought you forgot the meeting that you’ve conducted for today.” A man said.
I let out a sigh and made myself comfortable as I spooned myself under the table.
I hope this meeting wouldn’t take too long.
