Black Bellied Ceos: Come Back Home - Chapter 10: Chapter 10: Him and I

“It won’t be that bad, nothing will change, I won’t be away for months at a time, I promise that you will see me as often as now.” Michael says in a pleading tone of voice.

“Everything will change, you will spend most of your time in Baeyjin and what about Ollie, we were supposed to be in this together, now what are we supposed to do.” I say trying to make him understand my point across.

“I promise you that I will make sure that nothing changes and don’t worry about Ollie, he’s my son and I would do anything for him. I love you Vic and you know that I would never do anything to jeopardize what we have” He says to me with his eyes breaming with love and Honesty.

Finally, I don’t know if it was the past 2 weeks of him trying to convince me or what but I gave in, “You better not try anything that goes against the man that I married and have put my trust in or else. I’m not saying that I’m a 100% on board with this but I’m willing to give this a try.”

With a smile and a kiss he replies, “Okay, you know that you have nothing to worry about when it comes to me and you. Let’s go and get our son now and show him everything that we have prepared for him.”

Today was the day that we got to take Oliver home and I had been looking forward to this day since the day I had gotten the news that he was ours. Throughout our visits with Oliver it seemed that he loved the color green and animals, a factor that I had taken into consideration when decorating his nursery/bedroom (do you call it a nursery still?). I had decorated the room with a forest/jungle like themed bedroom with these cute tree like decorations that I hoped he would like.

After picking him up from the Orphanage we took him home. When we got to his room he got so excited especially when he spotted all of the stuffed animals around the room.

Michael upon noticing the same thing, put him down on the rug and then proceeded to play with him inciting laughter from the both of them. In that moment I felt like everything was going to be fine as long as I had Ollie and Michael in my life.

No matter how far from each other we were or who tried to get in between us; as long as we had each other nothing could separate us from each other.

So this is the last chapter of this arc and I’m so happy that I’m done with it.

I know it’s kinda short but I’ll make up for it on Wednesday I promise.
