I’m heading now towards the cafeteria when I noticed that the students here are looking at me strangely. Maybe because of what I have done a while ago. However, I didn’t pay any attention and just proceeded to walk.

“What the fuck Ace. Did you get into a fight?” Sean asked looking amazed.

“The first day, first fight. Nice.” Sean Lockhart, he is my best friend.

“No.” I simply replied, he just laughed at me. After that he pulled me towards a table then we began to eat. He already ordered a portion of food for me so there’s no need for me to hassle.

“So, are you close to that D girl?” He asked before he drank his iced tea.

“What is D girl?” I curiously asked, his eyes widened by my question.

“Dangerous girl, Dude.” He answered and takes a bite of his food.

“Not really,” I said and take a bite on mine too.

“Really? If I were you Ace, I’ll stay away from her.” He stated without even looking at me but from the tone of his voice, I know he wants to say something. This is the first time he ever warned me. He always supports me and often gives me a go signal on anything that I want but now… it seems that something is off.

“So, that girl is having sex at the rooftop of the second building.” A girl whispered at the right side of our table. I don’t know the reason but somehow my heart started beating fast when I heard those words.

“I’m going to go somewhere. I’ll pay you later.” I said to Sean, he just nods and continued to eat. I immediately ran towards that place. My heart is pounding fast that my knees are trembling like crazy. I ended up at the second building’s rooftop and now I’m holding the doorknob, soon as I open this, I’ll saw her…

“What are you doing here?” A girl said behind me, I immediately turn to face her.

“I was-” I was talking but she just passed through me and opened the door. I sighed when I realized that she wasn’t the one who the girls were talking about a while ago or she is?

“Follow me.” She suddenly stated that it gave me a sudden shiver. I don’t know what to do so, I ended up following her.

“Sit.” She ordered, so I did. Is she doing that? I don’t know but because of the reason that I feel nervous right now, I stupidly closed my eyes. However, I suddenly felt a cold thing on my face, is that a cold compress at my jaw.

“You should have stayed at the clinic.” She said. I slowly opened my eyes and she’s still holding it, like before she looks so worried.

“So, why are you here?” She asked again and now looked at me in the eye.

“Oww. That!” I said trying to avert my gaze, I noticed her grin.

“You heard about that rumor.” She said as she puts down the compress and lay down.

“Are those even true?” I asked, she looked at me first then looked up at the sky.

“It’s true if you believe that it is true and it’s a lie if you believe that it is a lie.” She paused and looks at me again.

“It depends on you.” She added and now closed her eyes. I don’t know? I don’t even know her. I don’t even know her name.

“By the way what’s your name?” I asked and there she opened her eyes flashing into slits. I think she’s angry?

“If you knew my name you’ll be in trouble.” She said and now covered her eyes by her arms, I think that she is about to sleep now.

“I’m already in trouble,” I whispered, just then she looked at me. She looks strange now. She’s looking at me… Sadly?

“You said that… right?” She asked when she came to me.

“Question is… Are you ready for the aftermath?” She asked coldly. I can’t answer. I don’t even know what she means by saying that “aftermath” word. Is it wrong to get close to her? My body is shaking like what the fuck is happening to me? Her voice is so cold that it gives me the shivers all the time I hear it. Ah! Damn. I looked down and started to think.

Here goes nothing…

“Yes?” I answered but I think that sounds like a question though. Hence, I looked at her but I was surprised by her shocked expression. She must have in mind that I don’t want to be in trouble since that I’m a guy that should show others how good I am because I am this and that. Well, she’s wrong. She suddenly stood up and walked away but when she was about to open the door.

“Aviana.” She said and finally left without even looking at me.

*Ring*

Sean is calling.

“Yeah?” I answered.

“Class is about to start better get here fast.” He said, I immediately ended up the call and ran towards our classroom.

“Mr. Fiera, you are late. You will sit there.” The professor said while pointing an empty seat beside another empty seat. It was near the window. When I finally sat down towards my seat, the door of the classroom opened again and there I saw her coming in with that cold ambiance.

“Your seat is there Miss.” The professor said while she just proceeded to walk. Why does that professor call her miss? Does she have no surname? And wait, did that professor just pointed the seat beside me?

Just before I know it, she’s right beside me sitting. The silence broke and they began to buzz. Based on their looks I think they are all talking about her who is currently sleeping now. The professor started to discuss Calculus, will she be okay with this? Not listening to the professor, this subject is a bit hard though? I’ll just take notes for her.

Hours had passed and she’s still sleeping peacefully. Well, she was about to sleep a while ago when we were at the rooftop. She must be really tired. However, it’s already dismissal and she’s still sleeping. There’s no one around now instead of us. Sean already went home due to the sudden visitation of his father.

“Hey.” I poked her.

“Hey!” I said and poked her again. She’s deeply asleep. When I attempted to do it again, she pulled me and surprisingly kissed me. After that, she smirked and got out of the classroom. I can’t breathe. Damn that girl!

“What will I do it’s hopeless to control this feeling.” I smiled realizing what I just said. Did I just actually fall for her? By the way, where did she go? Maybe she went home already.

When I was at the parking lot and was about to get in my car, I saw figures of people not far from where I was standing. Then one figure looked familiar so I walked towards them to see if who it is. When I finally got there, I saw Aviana with some people holding knives on their hands.

“AVIANA!” I shouted. She immediately turned her head at my pace. She looked irritated when she saw me standing here, watching her.

“So, Aviana is your name.” A guy said to her, he looks like a beggar with those unpleasant clothes.

“You should have not come here.” She whispered running towards me.

“But-” I was about to complain when she suddenly pushed me but then I saw why she did that. Someone is standing behind me and she kicked that guy’s hand.

“HAHAHA! The guy now is in the damsel in distress.” The guy who attacked us shouted and they all laughed in unison.

“Are you alright?” She asked worriedly.

“Stay behind me.” She added and gripped onto my wrist tightly.

“O-okay?” I answered. They all started to attack at the same time. It’s just a shame that I can’t even protect her but dang she’s great while fighting.

“Beside you,” I shouted so she ducked and punched the guy on his face. There is no way she kills for fun. When it was finished, she finally faced me and unexpectedly embraced me very tightly.

“They didn’t hurt you?” She asked and I nod in return. Then I heard her sigh, after that she let go and was about to walk away when I pulled her then hugged her again.

“Why are you so worried? Is it possible that you like me?” I asked but I just heard her laugh at me. She then pushed me but at the same time pulled the collar of my shirt. After that, she pressed her lips onto mine.

“You are mine remember?” She said and smiled. This is the first time that I saw her smile.

It’s so wonderful to look at…
