Bon Appétit - Chapter 76
Legion knew that he was not a normal person. From an early age, he suffered from the curse and wandered on the battlefield. There was no way such a person would grow up to be someone decent.
So, when he discovered his curse was getting worse, he thought he should avoid Luana. He couldn’t stand it if Luana looked at him with a face full of hatred. He would stay away from her until he found a solution to the curse. However, he realized now Luana looked at him with a worried expression.
Legion thought, maybe Luana will accept his change? But on the other hand, he was still insecure. The only thing Luana was holding was a small lantern; all she could see was his face and bloody sleeves. When he realized he wanted to step back, Luana suddenly reached out and grabbed his hem.
“Don’t go.”
Luana spoke firmly, and her face was hardened, but she was not scared of him. It encouraged Legion.
‘I’ve never been so scared on a battlefield before.’
Legion stood still and looked at Luana. Even though he said it wasn’t his blood, she was anxious and looked carefully again. Then she let out a sigh of relief and relaxed her expression.
“You’re not injured. What blood is this?”
Legion answered obediently.
“Marquis Livre.”
Luana’s eyes widened. She has heard many surprises lately.
“Did you catch him?”
“Yes.”
Luana seemed to think for a moment but soon shook her head. She didn’t care what happened to him or what the Legion had done to him. She may point her finger at herself for being selfish, but more importantly, what Marquis Livre did to her was unforgivable.
“Aren’t you hungry?”
Luana naturally changed the topic.
“I’m hungry.”
“But, you had a lot for dinner.”
Luana walked calmly to the kitchen, and Legion quietly followed in Luana’s footsteps. The knight who was in charge of Luana looked puzzled, but soon he waved his hand, and he quickly disappeared. Now there were only two people in the dark hallway.
Walking in the lonely hallway together was good, so he hoped this road would continue constantly. Of course, that wish did not come true because they had arrived in the kitchen.
“I’ll cook you a light meal.”
Luana said that while picking up some food ingredients. But now, Legion knew, food couldn’t satisfy the hunger he was feeling.
“Forget about the food.”
“What? But you said you were hungry.”
“I’m hungry. But what I am talking about is a little different.”
Legion approached Luana and stood beside her. The only thing that illuminates the kitchen is the lanterns and the moonlight coming through the window, but they still can see each other’s faces.
Looking up at Legion in wonder, Luana soon realized what he meant. It was not food that he wanted.
Legion’s red eyes were submerged in desire, looking down at Luana with a hungry look.
‘No? Haven’t there been any signs of this before?’
They’ve been doing nothing until now. Even in the early days when they shared a bed, nothing happened between them. After that, while they were together, she didn’t see any woman close to him. Luana thought she could seduce him, but still, she was a little perplexed by the sudden change of response.
“Legion?”
“Yes.”
His rough voice gently tickled her ears.
“W- what’s the difference?”
The words that came out of her mouth were stuttered. Luana realized she was now nervous. Her heart began to race.
“I usually feel hungry here.”
Legion touched his belly.
“The hunger I’m feeling right now is here.”
He then pointed his head. Luana swallowed her saliva and put down the food ingredients in her hand.
“Is it related to the curse?”
Come to think of it; she just remembered the last time they talked about curses. Is it because the curse got worse? As she thought about it, she felt her heart pounding like crazy. Although she didn’t cast the curse on her own, her mother did, so she had no choice but to be concerned because she loved him.
“Maybe.”
Legion replied.
‘So the feeling you felt right now not because you like me?’
Luana became a little sullen. She had expected it was because of the curse. She tried to hold back her sigh and said,
“Is there anything I can do to help?”
“Are you going to help me?”
She could feel Legion asking that with ‘knowing what will happen?’ in his eyes.
“Yes, because my mother was the one who cursed you.”
Luana muffled her words and laughed awkwardly.
‘The truth is, I like you so much that I won’t do with anyone else.’
She wanted to shout her thoughts but didn’t have the courage to do so. What if the curse gets worse and then backfires?
Legion’s brows frowned. What he wanted from her was not responsible because of her mother, but what he wanted was love. He wanted to see Luana and said she would do it for him out of love. He thought what he wanted to ask was too much, so he spoke again to Luana.
“Then help me.”
“What? Yes! How can I help you?”
Seeing her naive reply, Legion raised the corners of his lips, smiled, and whispered in Luana’s ear.
“All you have to do is not run away.”
Luana pressed down her hand, which was about to go up to her ear at any moment.
‘Why is your voice like this?’
It must be his usual voice, but why does it feel so sweet? Her cheeks blushed as she listened. Luana stood still and watched Legion approach closer and closer.
‘I can’t miss this moment!’
Luana was so nervous that she didn’t close her eyes. Legion burst out a small laugh at her.
“Why do you keep your eyes open like that?”
‘To remember this historic moment.’
But she couldn’t say it straight away. Luana blinked quickly and asked when she had done so. Legion had no choice but to burst into laughter again. He raised his hand to cover her eyes for Luana, who couldn’t even close her eyes properly.
“Oh!”
Luana was embarrassed, but he put his lips on the lips he wanted to taste the whole time. The lips touched lightly like a bird pecked at its beak. Even though that was all, his terrifying hunger subsided.
“C- can you move your hands?”
Luana quivered lightly and asked.
“Are you scared?”
“It’s not that.”
Luana held Legion’s hand that covered her eyes. She put it down and held his hands tight. While his face was right in front of hers, her heart pounded like crazy as if it would be popped out of her throat.
‘This isn’t a dream, right?’
Did our lips touch just now? Luana stroked her chest with her free hand. Then she placed her hand on Legion’s cheek, who still had his head bowed. Is it just me? Legion’s cheeks seemed to be as hot as hers.
Luana closed her eyes and put her lips on his lips. She felt her head tingling whenever their skin came into contact. She couldn’t tell if this was real since Legion’s lips were so sweet.
“What does this mean?”
Legion suddenly asked, and his smile disappeared from his face.
‘Meaning?’
She tried to think what his question meant, but nothing came up in her mind.
“Was it out of responsibility?”
At first glance, she heard Legion muttering, but that was it. She still couldn’t come to her senses. Then Luana, who was held in Legion’s arms, thanked God. His large and hard hand gripped her waist.
“Well, whatever. I don’t want to let you go.”
Legion hugged her and gently stroked her hair. His touch was soothing and encouraging.
‘It would be better if this weren’t the kitchen! No, there didn’t seem to be anything wrong with the kitchen. Because we are alone!’
Luana was dying of joy. Then the night grew deeper and deeper.

“Aaah!”
Luana woke up and immediately looked at the surrounding. She was lying in a room she had never seen before. The clear sunlight was coming through the window. She jumped up and looked to her side, but no one was there.
“Ahem ahem.”
Luana cleared her throat and called his name.
“Legion?”
But there was no answer. When she confirmed that no one was there, she checked her outfit. She had hoped just in case, but she was properly dressed. She expected her waist ribbon to be tied differently, or the decoration was off, but it was okay.
“Ahhh.”
Luana collapsed on the spot, covering her face with both hands.
‘You looked very, very skilled!’
In conclusion, nothing to worry about has happened between the two. All he did was hug her tightly and kiss her lightly. She was expecting a more intimate situation! Luana lay down and stamped her feet.
‘You told me not to run away!’
She wanted to ask him why he told her not to run away.
“Hnggg!”
Luana lay on the bed and shouted.
