Bored Gamer In Other Worlds - Chapter 982 Supposed To Be
982 Chapter 982 Supposed To Be
“BANG!”
“BANG!”
“BANG!” These louds banging startled the secluded room of someone very powerful.
“Who dares disturb my cultivation at this most crucial state!”
An angry old man roared in full but if one was observant enough, one can easily see the droplets of blood slide from the corner of his mouth and down to his feeble chin.
It was simple to deduce that the damage has already been done upon his person.
“Forgive me, Patriarch! But we are in a clan extinction event! I fear that only you can fight that devil!” A weeping figure of a man answered. n(.0𝐕𝞮𝓵𝑩1n
There was blood all over this crying man and both his legs were grotesque in picture. It was as if someone had fun twisting them all in a crazy form and back again.
It was simply a miracle that this faithful man arrived in this place at the bad shape that he was in.
“LEAVE!” The Patriarch shouted once more and an invisible force carried the hideous man away from his sight.
“BANG!” The injured man went flying back to whence he came but a whole lot harder than he arrived. A rippling earthquake was then felt and there was no one to note whether that man was alive or dead.
Still, this has not unsettled the Patriarch at all. He closed his eyes and meditated and then carefully picked one fragrant pill from his space ring in order to mitigate the damage inside his dantian.
He was lucky that he still have his cultivation base intact after the backlash he received from the sudden interruption during his closed door cultivation.
“TIK!”
“TOK!”
“TIK!”
“TOK!” Time continued unimpeded and before long, a full day has already passed. It was then that the Patriarch opened his eyes once more.
He got up from his lotus position of meditation and wondered who his enemy was at this time. In his old age, he had acquired lots of enemies over the years. It could be anyone of them or perhaps all.
Alas, enemies were a guaranteed reward for a person who went against heaven’s will in the first place.
“This is bad.” The Patriarch said to himself. Just the fact that the enemy has humoured him and waited for his advent was a sure tell-tale of doom.
It made him realize that this foe was certainly not simple at all. What he expected was a bombardment in his cultivation abode but no… this was something else entirely.
‘A patient enemy is the worst one can have.’ The Patriarch determined inside.
“BANG!” The doors of the cultivation room exploded open and the defensive runes the encircled it all dimmed out. The old Patriarch went out in a simple plain white cultivators robes.
He may be garbed humbly but the aura of his body was akin to a wild beast that was ready for a violent carnage anytime soon.
“WHOOSH!” His body rushed fast amidst obstacles and in a few breaths, he has come to stumble upon a gory scene.
There were broken bodies anywhere the eyes can go and death was not exclusive for the victims. Many received the end but a luckless few still lingered crawling amidst their own blood and bowels.
It was indeed a ghastly scene to watch.
“…” Still, the Patriarch of the Wen Clan strode in confidence amidst the unbearable display of torture. The line of torment was long and winding.
It took the old Patriarch a couple minutes more to reach the center of the occasion. It was a huge table where there was only one loud mouth in the midst.
“My Lord, I have only heard about the good things in Nomery. Perhaps tomorrow we could explore the city with our own two eyes. I bet that we could find a little surprise or two along the road.”
Lady Wu Tian said lively. Her maidservants alongside the trembling people in the table were all guarding their mouths in tonight’s event.
They don’t want to follow the route that has taken many acquaintances of theirs to the next life.
“I would like that indeed.” Clark smiled but his eyes has suddenly bore at the darkened path of the entrance.
“But for now. Let me take a breather after that sumptuous dinner.” Our good gamer stood up and approached the silent figure calmly.
“You honor my house with your presence, Fellow Daoist.” The old Patriarch spoke and the darkness that hugged his body fell away before everyone’s eyes.
“PATRIARCH!”
“PATRIARCH!”
“PATRIARCH!”
“SAVE US, Ancestor!”
“KILL THIS MONSTER!”
“Be careful, Patriarch! That man is strong and wicked!”
“He killed many of our family!”
“Kill him, Patriarch! Avenge us!” The chorus of voices was deafening to say the least. It was indeed passionate and more.
But perhaps the greater shock in the room was how tranquil the old Patriarch was amidst all the requests that were thrown towards him.
It appeared like the majority in the room has not heard the pleasant words of this old man towards our very own protagonist. To deny reality was not at all a sign of a sane human being.
It was also not surprising since these people had seen most of their loved ones die and their lives altered in just the span of 1 day.
“I’m happy to be here. Thank you very much. Would you care for some wine, boy?” Our bored gamer responded in kind and his words was quite enlightening about the difference between them in both prowess and skill.
“You dare disrespect our Patriarch! DIE SCUM!” A crazy lunatic of a man roared in anguish and charged mightily against our good gamer. And he paid dearly for his mistake.
“BOOM!” The insane man exploded in blood mist. Most was caked in red but the dining table was astonishing as pristine as before.
Clark did not feel any pity at all since the man now dead was far from innocent like all the others he had killed from the day before.
There were of course exemptions and a few innocents here and there and those were left untouched by our evil gamer’s big hands.
“I’d appreciate a jug or two.” The old Patriarch smiled and went on to drink and dine with our bored gamer.
This weird show between supposed to be enemies was seen by everyone and this left most of them slack jawed at what they saw.
