Born Again - 52 Hearing Recordings and Pondering About Them
She explained about the CCTV and why it was removed. She informed about the listening device placed below Tania’s bed. It was attached to the foot of the bed. He had heard bits and pieces of the conversation about the hidden treasure etc.
He also knew that Tania along with her Indian grandfather were meeting someone called Sanya today and he would be keeping an eye on the family to know when they would leave for India and he would follow them along with his mother.
She also explained the hatred in his heart and mind for his deceased sister and brother-in-law. He had been unhappy about the cross culture, cross religious connection and had even expressed his unhappiness on this matter to his sister, whom he visited when she was pregnant with Tania.
How he had got someone to tamper with the breaks of car that belonged to Tania’s parents. This was the reason they could not avoid the oncoming speeding truck and the car rammed into the speeding truck. Her parents had died instantaneously.
She had warned them all to be careful as he would grab the treasures from the cave and try to eliminate everyone who would be there. He would try to do this in the cave itself or after leaving the cave.He did not like to leave any witnesses.
Ultimately, she added that they all should now head for India and Kalibangan ruins in Rajasthan. She and her husband, Arun, will be meeting everyone near the marked cave.
After listening to the recording, Tania understood that it was destined for her uncle of past lives to repent for his sins. His container of bad deeds was now full and he needed to face his end and stop coming again to torture her and her family. She had come back as Durga Mata (Goddess Gurga) to teach him a lesson and finish him. She, now needed to work on a plan.
Tania was very thoughtful and silent after hearing the recording.
The Doctor saw her thoughtful face and remarked, “Don’t worry, everything is under the control of Sanya and her husband. They will guide you at every step. I will also come with you all to India and visit this historical cave.”
They needed to get home to chalk out their departure plans. The departure would be effective only after the function in her University.
Tania and her grandfather bid the Doctor good bye and headed homewards.
“Why are you so quiet, where are your thoughts?,” asked Dada ji as he watched Tania drive.
“Nothing Dada ji !, I am paying attention to driving, the traffic. I won’t make any mistakes, don’t worry.”
“How do you think we should proceed?”
“Hmmm, Good question,” Dada ji responded as he stroked his imaginary beard.
“First we need to check on that listening device. Not that we rush into the house and go straight to the room.”
“Igor should not suspect that we know about his snooping activities.”
“So we need to be normal like going into the library and having tea, then leaving for our rooms to tidy up before dinner etc.”
“We can have a conversation in your Dada-Dadi’s room.”
“As soon as we reach, I will head to the kitchen to get confirmation about the status of the rooms your Dadi ji checked.”
“You head for the library and chit chat with your Nani ji.”
Do you not think our life story is like a murder mystery by Alaister MacLaine or Agatha Christie?” Responded Tania.
“In a way, Yes it is and in a way No, it is not!” Dada ji replied.
“Why do you say that, Dada ji!”
“Because, Beta! Our story is real and the stories these authors wrote were fiction.”
“Ahhh, I get it and our story goes into past life also.”
“Dada ji, I think this story needs to be out in print and that to in hard copy. People should know what evil is and how it can travel. How it needs to be stopped.”
“I agree with you child and I think one day you will write your autobiography explaining all these things. You have written your thesis and you can write.”
“If you feel that you do not want your entire life story made public, then you can find someone to write this part of your life story as a biography. Who knows, it might become the subject matter of a movie later on?”
“Yes, I think that is a better idea. Maybe I can narrate my story and someone can put it as an online novel on a website.” Responded Tania who looked very serious about the entire conversation.
“But Dada ji, I think we should finish the evil that is trying to engulf all our lives now. This evil that resides in this uncle of mine since ages now may want to eliminate more people.”
“Yes Beta, you are absolutely right. We need to take care of our enemy from ages and ensure he is checkmated.” Dadaji added, “We also need to ensure that he will not be able to let this evil harm anyone through him again in any future lives.”
“We need to work on that strategy. Anyway, we have reached home, lets park the car and go in as planned. We will carry on our conversation later.”
Soon, the car was parked in the garage and Tania and Dada ji entered the house. Dada ji headed towards the kitchen.
Tania headed towards the Library which was now more like a Study. It seemed more time was spent her by the family members rather than in the sitting room.
