Boss Lady - Chapter 20 Dont Leave

Zhang Wei watched as Wang Lei drove into the street. He stood outside for a while before going inside. He saw Li Na sitting on the sofa reading a book,her eyes moved through the pages, Zhang Wei stood from a distance admiring her. He thought about what Wang Lei said and approached her.

“I have to tell you something “he said as he sat down beside her.

“what?” Li Na asked as she dropped her book.

“Mei” he answered. Li Na’s heart began beating fast, she instantly brought herself together.

“what about her?”she asked curiously.

“Mei and I we go way back, we were childhood friends,one day I got drunk and I..” he stopped closing his eyes.

“You don’t have to explain anything to me” Li Na said, Zhang Wei opened his eyes and stared at her.

“we’re not a real couple, I’ll soon leave your life,so you don’t really have anything to explain to me”she said trying to hide her sadness. Zhang Wei continued staring. Li Na picked her book and went upstairs, as she got to her room tears rolled down from her eyes.

“why am I crying?”she asked herself quietly in tears.

Zhang Wei sat alone in the sitting room. He rubbed his eyes and stood up and walked round the house. He wondered why he was feeling this way, he felt committed to Li Na and anytime he was at the office, he starts missing her, it was as if his whole existence belonged to her. He went to his room and laid on his bed and slept.

The next day, Zhang Wei sat in his chair in the office thinking about what happened yesterday, he was interrupted when he heard a knock on the door.

“come in”he said. Mei walked through the door and sat down facing him and gave him a warm smile.

“what are you doing here? “he asked coldly

“I’m here to see you ” She answered.

“I’m busy”he said opening his laptop. She stood up and went to him, and placed her hand on his shoulders and rested her head on his head. Seeing this, he quickly stood up and left her in his office. He called his secretary and told her to cancel all his meetings today,he drove home and saw Li Na in the garden,she didn’t go to work today. He walked towards her,and pulled her closer and kissed her forehead, he looked into her eyes, Li Na’s hand moved to his cheek,it was hot, she felt his forehead, he was burning up. She became alarmed and quickly took him inside his room and quickly called the doctor who hurridely came and gave him some drugs and told him to rest. After the doctor left, Li Na turned to leave when Zhang Weird grabbed her hand, and drew her closer, she fell on the bed,he got close to her and wrapped his hand around her waist and told her softly.

“don’t leave”.
